About the flatmates
My husband and I live in a 4bed home in Cambridge Park with 2 rooms to rent out and we are looking for 2 friends or siblings or a couple to join us in our home. Must love cats as we have a cat who will be initially timid but will become friendly and inquisitive with time.
We are a 20ish min walk from Kingswood station (17min on an energetic walk and 21min according to Google). We are also 500m away from a bus stop, shops, pharmacy, GP, takeaways, and more. We're 45min walk from Nepean Hospital.
Each room had a king single bed, all sheets and pillows, a small folding desk, office chair, lamp, bookshelf, bedside table, small ceramic heater, and an electric blanket.
My husband and I live out of the master bedroom and ensuite shower/toilet so this leaves the recently renovated main bathroom entirely for your use. There are also two toilets, a single communal one, and one in the main bath, so no battles over the toilet!
My mother lives in a detached studio on the property and comes inside to do the laundry and cook for us but has her own space and bathroom. I FIFO so am away more often than not, maybe home one week every month or two.
The setup is ideal for 2 friends. For the right person, we are also happy to consider one person renting both rooms (1 bed 1 office) with sole access to the main bathroom but will be reflected in the price.
The 4th bedroom is a communal study and you are welcome to this space as well - my husband uses it 1-2 times a week for work but we are happy to communicate this.
Our home is fully furnished with appliances, dishwasher, air fryer, slow cooker etc. Just bring your clothes and move right in.
There is street parking and room for 1 car if schedules match but it is a single lane driveway and if schedules don't you will have to street park. If you have a smaller car you can also park on the front lawn of the home.
Rent includes all bills including unlimited internet.
We are very much introverts and homebodies - we are happy for a quick friendly chat in the kitchen or share some of our baking but will definitely keep to ourselves so if you're looking to go out for drinks or throw parties we are not the right fit for you. We also don't debate politics or religion in the home.
