I’m hoping to find either a single or a couple to move into my spare room that includes a balcony overlooking a huge lush green tree. The house itself is on a quiet cul-de-sac and the neighbours are also young professionals who I occasionally have a beer or go to the local pub with, and with a community garden on the corner it really is a lovely place to live.
Only a 2 minute walk to a bus that goes directly to the city (central station) with stops along the way at broadway shopping centre, and about a 5-10 minute walk to kings st Newtown. You can also apply for a parking permit to park unlimited hours in our actual street and there is almost always a few spots free.
I have 2 beautiful senior ragdoll cats, they’re old enough that all they want to do is lay around on their bed and maybe come sit with you if you’re in the lounge room, but they will also leave you alone if you’re not a cat person.
The house is 2 stories with both bedrooms upstairs, there is a front TV room that’s followed by a small dining/reading area where the stairs are. After that it’s through to the kitchen and followed by the bathroom/laundry and then a door to the backyard, small enough that maintenance is almost nonexistent but large enough to sit outside on a nice day and enjoy lunch or simply just doing some gardening if you have a green thumb.
The room itself is unfinished however all the furniture for the house and white goods are available, this includes kitchenware etc. But if you have furniture you wish to move in with we can definitely come to arrangement, I’m very flexible.
Please note that the pictures aren’t of the current house furniture as they’re old pics but the house layout is exactly the same.
Rent is 450 for a single or 500 for a couple, bills not included. Please also note I have just been informed from the property manager that the rent will be increased by $50 in April this year, I am happy to split this increase either 2 or 3 ways depending on in you are a single or couple looking to move in.
