About the property

The home: It’s a small building (only 10 units), neighbours are great, landlord is super easygoing, 2 stories, 2 balconies (one coming off the bedrooms), stainless steel appliances, gas cooking, wooden floorboards and my collection of plants. There’s also a rooftop terrace that we frequently use for gathos and day drinks. This place is all about comfort. No clutter, clean, and good vibes only. No car spot, so would suit someone who doesn’t have a car.

Location: We are an 10 minute walk from Redfern station, 15 minutes from Central station, and 15 minutes from North King St, with many bus stops around. Broadway shopping centre is also a 7 min walk away.

The room: 3x3m, balcony, built in wardrobe, air conditioning and great view of the city skyline. It's currently being used as my office, but will be emptied once you move in.

Hi there,

I’ve got a room up for grabs in my 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of Chippendale.

Me: I’m Nash, 31, working as a Project Manager in advertising. I love all things music, environmentalism, sustainability, spiritual growth, dogs, nature, food, cooking, travel, and the arts. Almost always keen for a hang/drink/communal dinner but also focused on working towards my long-term goals, and would like to maintain a productive and peaceful energy in the house.

You: Looking for someone in their mid 20's-30's who is a working professional, social, and likes maintaining a clean space.

Bills: Rent is $400 p/w. We pay gas, electricity, and internet monthly. Potential to organise a cleaner to take care of common areas once a fortnight, cause ain't nobody got time for arguing over cleaning, however open to discussing what we could make work. Bond is 4 weeks of rent, paid upfront.

Available from the 16th of Feb. However, not in a hurry and open to being flexible for the right fit. Also open to short-term arrangements.
