Mount Druitt, Sydney

We are looking for Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese or Chinese tenants who are staying in Australia on a Working Holiday visa, student visa, or short-term visa.

Rent

$180 per week for stays of 3 months or longer

$250 per week for stays of up to 3 months

Couples: $300 per week (length of stay negotiable)

Rent includes
Electricity, water, high-speed unlimited internet, dishwashing liquid, rice, toilet paper, and basic seasonings.

Room features
Wordrobes, study desk, fan, bed, bedside lamp.An electric blanket is also provided during winter.

Shared areas
Air-conditioning, 1 shower, 2 toilets (one with a bidet), and a refrigerator and storage shelves with separate allocated space for each tenant.

Keys
You will be provided with two keys: one for the main entrance and one for your private room, which can be locked individually.

Location
Nearest station: Mt Druitt.From the house, it takes 45–55 minutes by train to Central Station on the Western Line (both all-stops and express services available).

It is a 7-minute walk from the house to Westfield Mt Druitt, and 5 minutes from Westfield to Mt Druitt Station.There is also a 5-minute bus ride from the station to the house.Train services are frequent on weekdays and during the day, and you can travel to the North Shore Line without changing trains.

Westfield is a large shopping centre with Kmart, Target, Coles, Woolworths, Reject Shop, Anytime Fitness, Starbucks, banks, and more.A library, Aldi, gyms, police station, GP clinics, and hospital are all within walking distance.

Current housemates
The current housemates work at local workplaces around Mt Druitt Station or along the train line where there are very few Japanese staff, helping them improve their English.Most housemates find jobs within two weeks of moving in.Many also commute to or study in the city.

They are friendly Japanese housemates aged 21–26, busy and enjoying Sydney life.Currently all tenants are male, but we have had many female tenants in the past.

The house is spacious and open, and each room offers ample private space with good sound proof/ insulation

House keeping
Cleaner will visit once a week for about an hour to clean shared areas, restock supplies, and handle maintenance, ensuring a clean and safe living environment.

Conditions
Tenant must follow the shared house rules details will be explained during inspection. A rulebook has been created based on feedback from previous housemates to ensure everyone can live comfortably.We especially recommend this to be read by those who are living on their own for the first time.
