About the property

Description of the home
Two bedroom apartment with floorboards throughout. The place is fully furnished - your room has a queen bed and desk/rug in it, however you may wish to bring your own wardrobe and clothes rack etc. All your living needs like cooking/kitchen stuff, house furniture, TV and appliances etc is covered! There is a washing machine and dryer, but no dishwasher.

There is a lovely view of the city skyline from your bedroom window, and the bedroom is large and can easily fit a queen bed, a wardrobe/hanger and or bookshelf and a desk.

You would be sharing the apartment with me and my beautiful dog Disco so dog-friendly people are essential!

I would also like to ensure that my new flatmate would be happy to take Disco for a quick toilet break/walk or give him a cup of food if ever I am not able to.

There is a shared outdoor courtyard downstairs but there are only a few apartments in the building, so it is not used often by people and gets lots of lovely sunshine. The area downstairs also opens onto the laundry area where my washing machine and dryer are.

I have been living here for four years now and it is a super great location and great apartment. Looking to share with someone who is happy to do their own thing but also happy to chill and hang out every now and again!

There is also plenty of untimed street parking around the area - I have never not been able to get a park. The apartment has the 412 bus route directly in front of it which goes to the city, and is also an equidistant walk from both Petersham and Stanmore train stations - so commutes are super easy no matter where you are going!

There are plenty of lovely cafes, pubs, restaurants and green spaces in the area too.

I work from home two days per week (usually Mon & Friday) but in office most days - there is a separate home office space/sunroom which you would be welcome to use on the days that I am not using it/wfh.

The date is a bit flexible but is looking like early March at this stage.

If this sounds like you, please let me know and we can chat further!

About the flatmates

ABOUT ME:
I am a full time worker in corporate partnerships at Macquarie University and work from home 2 days per week. I am looking for someone ideally who is fairly independent, works full time (but can be from home sometimes of course) and is dog friendly.

Ideally you would be 30yrs + and have experience living in a sharehouse/with other people.

I walk Disco morning and evening. I exercise regularly - basketball/swimming/F45 and go to dinner some nights during the week so I am often out and about socialising etc.

I am a friendly, easy-going person and enjoy a good chat but also enjoy my downtime like anybody else! Love a good laugh.

I am looking for someone who is a similar vibe and has some common interests so that it is a nice place to live and more than just sharing a space :-)

I love going to the beach, walking my dog, watching abc rage on a saturday morning with a home cooked breakfast, going out with my friends and socialising, going to gigs, listening to music and cooking!

ABOUT DISCO:
Disco is a beautiful 4 year old blue English Staffy, he likes playing tug of war and has lots of friends around the neighborhood and at the local dog park, He is a really sweet natured dog and is very chilled out during the day, just sleeping and relaxing.

Most of his energy gets let out on our big walk in the AM and the evenings/at the dog park. When he is at home he just sleeps and chills. I also have a dog walker who comes a couple of days per week to take him out.
