Hi! I'm looking for a housemate who's away on weekends (Fri evening - Sun evening). It's a bit unusual but I'm hoping it could be a win/win with the lower rent. This would suit someone who studies or works in the area and stays with family/friends/partners or goes on trips on the weekends. My reasoning is I like the place to myself on weekends for peace and quiet and having gatherings or guests.
It's possible to add the enclosed garage or staying one weekend a month for slightly more rent. Bills are additional and would be ratio'd to the days you're there. I can also furnish the room if required. Let me know if you're interested!
About the Apartment:
It's a beautiful, sunny, two-bedroom place with a north-facing balcony, wooden floorboards, a spacious kitchen, dining and living room. Bedrooms have buil-in wardrobes, all the windows have leafy views and the kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine.
It's perfectly located; walking distance to the beach, Randwick Junction, the light rail to city/central and UNSW – there's nothing like going for a walk or swim at Coogee at any time of the day.
It's a peaceful street and the bedrooms are towards the rear of the flat. I'm moving in at the end of Feb so the decor will be nicer than what's shown in these photos, including lot more plants!
House rules would be to always tidy up after yourself, contribute to house cleaning, quiet hours from 9:30 pm - 7 am, and no smoking or vaping.
