Hi there,
I am renting out the ensuite room (furnished) in my house in Surry Hills.
I just moved in today (27 January) after 2 years of living in another house a few blocks away.
$500 p/w including bills. Couples not allowed sorry!
**I will update the photos of the bedroom tonight with the pillows & duvet etc once I move them from my old spot**
House description:
It is an apartment with 2 bedrooms & their balconies, 2 bathrooms (one of them in the ensuite bedroom), a gorgeous living room + kitchen that open up to the terrace.
Second bedroom is occupied by myself. I moved to Syd & Aus 2.5 years ago and I work in the city.
As I just moved in today, I still have some furnishing to finish, including a kitchen table & seats/table for the terrace. Open to your suggestions and touches if you like :)
- Washing machine & dryer available
- Aircon available
Location description:
Surry Hills is the place to be imo. It boasts a european nightlife vibe, with plenty of bars & restos around. It is a diverse & creative area in terms of the characters you mingle with, and is at the center of Sydney, meaning you are close to the Eastern Suburbs, Northern Beaches, Western Sydney and everywhere.
The house is on a secluded street in Surry which means it is quiet. There is parking space on the street.
Central, Woolies & lots of exercise spots are just around the corner :)

You'll be sharing the flat with myself!
I moved to Aus 2.5 years ago from the UK, I'm French, British & Lebanese.
I work in Financial technology in the city & Manly, pursue my hobbies for half of my week in calisthenics, yoga & swimming. The other days I love to spend time hanging with my peeps and equally value my time at home unwinding. I treat the house as a sanctuary for both my flatmate & myself!
I'm a big Syd advocate and I'm cherishing my potential last stint here as I might move back to Europe at the beg of 2027.
I've shared flats for about 11 years- I always wound up organically developing a great bond with my flatmate(s) which makes it all the more homey :)
We all know the basics: good comms, clean & respectful of one another!
