About the property
A fully furnished room with a king single bed, built-in wardrobe, air conditioning, and a lock-up garage. The spacious house is clean, well maintained, and within a quiet, secure, and safe suburb. Close to the beautiful river (out of the flood zone) and surrounded by parks. A five minute walk to the university campus and close to the botanical gardens and the Townsville Hospital.
A large fenced backyard and an outdoor dining/barbecue area. There is a bus stop near the front door. The room shares a bathroom and separate toilet with one other (female) flatmate. Sheets, towels, and blankets are provided.
There is a barbecue available in the outdoor area. Amazon Prime, wireless internet, electricity, and water bills are included in the rent.
Pets and outdoor smokers are welcome.
We have a cat called, "Oreo". We adopted her as a stray. She is very sweet and affectionate. But.. she also gets the zoomies.
No specific length of stay required, we just want to find the right person to fit into our household.
Please, no drug users, including marijuana, or heavy drinkers.

About the flatmates
The home owner is an Australian male professional in his 40's. I live at the front of the house with my own bathroom, study, and lounge.
Your other housemate, who will share the back end of the house and the master bathroom with you is a 21 year old female Australian university student. The kitchen and dining room is shared by all of us.
We are relaxed, tidy, clean, easy-going, and sociable. Looking for someone who will fit in with the good household dynamic that we have in our home.
As the master bathroom and toilet are shared with a female, for privacy and safety reasons, this room is available to females only.
