We are looking for 1 housemate to join our 4 bedroom sharehouse in Douglas.
It's a big house, with a lot of space and a big backyard. It is also walking distance from the river, with beautiful views! 🌈🙂
The closest bus station is 15 mins, so ideally you would have your own car or bike as public transport is not great around here. There is off-street parking for your car. The property is 5 minutes drive or 10 minutes bike ride to JCU.
We are renting out 1 room with a shared bathroom. The room is fitted with aircon and furnished with a queen bed. You will be sharing the house with 3 to 4 other people. So max 5 people in total (including you).
The rent includes internet, mowing, fortnightly cleaning, electricity and water bills. 🌼🌿
As for house rules: general house share rules apply (eg cleaning up after yourself in common spaces, being considerate and respectful of others, etc.).

About the flatmates
Hi!
We are Michelle, Klaire and Gaëlle. We are looking for a new housemate.
We are all in our 30s. Klaire is a lecturer at JCU, Michelle is a florist and Gaëlle is a counsellor.
We have a calm home and are respectful of others space and energy, and we would love to get to know our housemates a bit as well - perhaps have housemate dinners occasionally.
Our dog, Jayjay also lives in the house - he is a 13 year old Cavalier King Charles.
