This duplex property is located in the Tweed area very central to Coolangatta. It is walking distance and a 5 minute E-bike ride to the Beach. There are great sunsets here sometimes. Both Kirra and Coolangatta beaches are within a few minutes drive.
1 Bedroom is available for the perfect tenant. The preference is for an individual who is working and possibly doing Fly In/Fly Out work from the Gold Coast. I am open-minded on age to some extent though this is mainly a drug-free household. An occasional drink is certainly permissible though this is a No-Smoking Zone and unfortunately Non-smokers are not welcome. Students may apply. You may be under 40. However, a mature attitude will be expected. It is not a Party house and visitors cannot stay over.
Important to Note: Though there is no Lease required you are required to entrust 1 Month of Bond and 4 Weeks rent in advance as an extra rental security. This is in addition to Two Weeks rent paid in advance every week or fortnight. This is effectively an amount of $3850. My expectation is that the future tenant stays a minimum of 12 months. Travelers are welcome though leaving prior to the 12 months will incur a loss of bond and the extra security will be forfeited. Please be advised that this is NON-NEGOTIABLE and a signed Statutory Declaration will be required on entry to the property.
This is a lovely comfortable property in a sought-after location.
The owner is a mature active 55+ Years carer and scientist. I travel for work so wish that my property is cared for and well-looked after. Regular maintenance will be required. If you have Obsessive Compulsive Tendencies (OCD) this property may suit you. I will require at least two written references before you can stay.
You will be expected to manage the property like your own home when I am not around. Obviously, that means the property will require weekly cIeaning and management. I live on the property in the room next to your own. Though not large it is a comfortable space. Internet and Bills are included.
