My place is around 6 years old, has central heating for the winter months, ceiling fans in the living areas, and the kitchen has the usual modern things! The bedroom available has a built in wardrobe, and is furnished with a queen bed, mattress and bedside tables, but could remove these if needed. You would have use of the main bathroom/separate toilet, almost exclusively to yourself (would be used by any guests).
Internet available/included in rent.
Water/gas/electricity also included in rent.
The house has a decent sized backyard, which is mostly lawn (aka weeds), and also has an alfresco.
