The room is a large and light, in a roomy townhouse close to the 58 tram and (more importantly) good coffee and brunch. North facing window (but sadly not a very exciting view), huge built in robes, plenty of space and lots of storage. The room is unfurnished, but the house is furnished with all the things you'd need. The bathroom is shared, but there are two separate toilets (upstairs and downstairs). There's reverse-cycle heating and cooling. There's off-street and on-street parking available. The NBN is allegedly arriving soon, and in the meanwhile the ADSL is adequate. There is a reasonably big yard. I'm planning on a small veggie garden, so hopefully there will be an abundant supply of herbs, tomato and various veggies. The room is available now, but in no hurry to get someone in - really just waiting for the right fit.

Hello there! Our housemate Joe sadly has to go back to England so we are looking for a new friend! The room available has heaps of natural light and a big wardrobe and shares the bathroom with only one other person. Bills.. To keep it easy, we all pay $25 a week on top of our rent to cover all the bills: Internet, Foxtel, Electricity, Gas, Water. There are 5 bedrooms in total, 3 of them have ensuites and the other 2 do not. We're all very busy professional people and it's a rare (and exciting) event for us all to be home at the same time. The ideal housemate will be a happy and friendly busy bee like us, someone that is up for a chit chat and a wine here and there but has a life of their own. At the moment we are 3 girls and 3 guys aged 24 to 28. We are not fussed if you are a girl or a guy - as long as you are a generally clean and tidy nice person. This is an LGBTQI friendly house. The shared spaces include the kitchen (with walk-in pantry),one big main lounge room with foxtel, a separate dining room, the laundry which has a washing machine and dryer. If this sounds like the place for you - please drop me a line as we'd love to meet you!

Located just off Pascoe Vale Road, this two bedroom weatherboard house is a fantastic place to live. With a tram stop at the end of the street, and Moonee Ponds Train Station a 10 minute walk away, the city is a stones throw away. The bedroom available has two built in robes and a window that opens onto a side path. The living is spacious with two couches and a reclining rocking chair, as well as a large screen TV, Foxtel, Xbox and DVD player. The kitchen, dining and bathroom are all towards the rear of the house, as well as a separate toilet. Appliances are gas, and the kitchen has a small pantry area and plenty of cupboard space. One bedroom available in a large 2/3 bedroom bungalow, located in a quiet street in trendy brunswick. $1119 per calander month for one person or $746 per person for a couple (there is also a much larger room if you are a couple) Great transport links close by. The house is clean with a large dated, but very function kitchen with a new stainless steel gas stove. Open plan dining and kitchen. Large separate lounge room. Renovated bathroom and a large private rear yard with vege patch and fruit trees, and a generous undercover entertaining area. Floating floor boards to kitchen and dining area. Carpets in the bedrooms and lounge. Ducted gas heating. No cooling. The house is furnished except for the available room. I am a non-smoker but do not mind living with a smoker as long as its not inside the house. Im 35 and a work as an emergency nurse. I'm pretty easy going, love cooking with a glass of wine and some music or a good podcast playing in backgeound. I like going out for drinks and dinner; love going to the movies. I love to travel. Don't mind seeing the odd exhibition. I love doing anything creative! I like a friendly, social housemate who likes a chat but also like having some me time sometimes. I am looking for a professional in their mid-20s to late 30s, who is considerate, responsible, friendly, easy-going, clean and tidy but not a neat freak. You will be living with 2 dogs and a cat. My cat loves being outside and spends most of her time there. I refer to my dogs as "special needs dogs" Alfie (jack russell x Pomeranian but quite tall for his breed) was born deaf, knows sign language and loves a cuddle. Rocko (Labrador x Shar Pei) can only be described as asperges. He likes his personal space and doesn't like to be patted, unless of course you are playing tug or throwing the ball for him. Then you can do what ever you want to him! He's terrified of storms and may seek refuge under whatever chair you are sitting in. He's really a big softy at heart but just wants to sit next to you instead of being patted. They are indoor/outdoor dogs, well trained, will not eat your food from your plate if you leave it on the coffee table (unless of course you left it there for a couple of days and then its fair game) and very good guard dogs (yes, they bark like they might eat you when somebody rings the doorbell) so no need to feel nervous when home alone. Let me know if me and my zoo sound like your kind of flatmates!

The 58 tram is a 4min walk and it's a 10-12 minute walk to the 19 tram or Brunswick Station (Upfield line). We have a very large unfurnished room for rent in our beautiful house in Brunswick. Our house is located close to Moreland and Sydney Rd, and just a 5 minute walk to Moreland Station, and the number 8 and 19 trams We have a generous backyard with a neat front yard which can be enjoyed from our patio. Nice kitchen, cute laundry, spacious living room and dining room, and lastly a big outside shed for storage. The rent is $750 per month + $17.50 internet and bills are split. Bond ($750).
● 5 minutes walk from Brunswick Railway Station on the Upfield Line. ● 7 minutes walk from the corner of Sydney Road and Victoria Street; stop 23 for the 19 tram which travels to Flinders Street. ● Close to Anytime Fitness, Northside Boulders, Los Hermanos, and Victoria Hotel ROOM AVAILABLE FOR MOVE-IN ON FEBRUARY 1st For the last 6 months the soon-to-be vacant room has been occupied by a man-woman couple who have decided to move into a place of their own. The room is 3.5m x 3.2m, unfurnished, with built in shelves. Truth be told, the available room is purpose built as a living room, but we haven't used it as a living room since allowing a friend-in-need to move in and use it as a bedroom. (room is not pictured... well, technically the pic with the guitar and microphone is of the available room but those items are not in the room as it's currently occupied) The house is all electric and is starting to show its age, with a few cracks in some of the walls. Communal facilities available to the successful occupant include a washing machine, refrigerator, electric stove and oven, kitchen utensils, etc, etc. The rent is $722 per calendar month with all utilities included, excluding internet, which is $18 per month (NBN). You will be house sharing with Damian, who has lived in the house for 5 years and dabbles in the entertainment industry when not hermiting (ENTP/INTP), and Andy, who has lived in the house for 2 years and runs a non-profit community laboratory (you might have heard about his work testing the bacteria that rides on public transport). Andy is more outgoing and sociable than Damian, but both generally keep to themselves and respect the privacy of others in the house. Ideally you will be someone who cleans up after yourself without having to be asked to do so (particularly in the kitchen), you pay rent on time, and can respect the privacy of others. Being comfortable sharing an environment with somebody who is not hyper-social, and content with doing your own thing while others do theirs, would be an advantage. I've probably failed to answer any of your internal questions with that description, so please contact me if you'd like to know more or want to come around and take a look at the place; we're pretty informal. Have a good day!
Hello! We have an unfurnished room available from the beginning of February in this cute weatherboard Brunswick home. The room going is the largest in the house, with two giant built in wardrobes and loads of natural light. The house itself has a lot of quirks and is super cosy. Just to name a few perks, there is a big backyard (with a currently rather wild area that would be prime for a veggie patch if you are into gardening and taming ferocious weeds), a kumquat tree (does anybody actually like kumquats?), a cute living room area, a very confusing but entertaining bathroom tap, and many local cats who like to pass through. The house is in an awesome location, just off Albion Street and a five minute walk to Anstey Station, Sydney Road, the Upfield bike path, and most importantly, A1 bakery.
Gorgeous and spacious 2 bedroom fully furnished terrace house in Moonee Ponds. The house is filled with natural light and the available bedroom is spacious with big built in robe. Extra study or dining area is available. Deck is huge and great for relaxing. We are plant people so there are lots of plants inside and outside. Fantastic location - we really border Brunswick West. 5 minute walk to Puckle St: banks, gyms, post office, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. Trams, trains and buses very close by (Flinders St train, route 59 tram to city and route 82 tram to Footscray). 20 mins on tram or by bike to University of Melbourne.
Hi! We're looking for a housemate here in Coburg. We love a hang and a beer. We're off Reynard between Melville and Sydney Road, short walk to the trams, trains and the Post Office Hotel and True North which are our locals! We've got a huge place, with a big garden (So any greenthumbs or veggie gardeners), with a now big empty powered shed, (Which has been used for beer brewing in past). A cute, light filled townhouse which is akin to a small house. It’s situated at the front of the block with a small pretty garden between it and a quiet tree-lined street. It’s located in Pascoe Vale South, which is a friendly neighbourhood. There’s a 58 tram stop very near by, an IGA up the road, petrol station(s) and a relatively short distance to Union Square/ Barkly square shopping centres. There are two bedrooms, a large open plan kitchen and lounge, separate toilet, bathroom with a separate shower and bath, large hallway cupboard and a laundry. The two bedrooms are separated by a hallway so that means more space/ privacy. There are lots of windows allowing for natural light & ventilation (they have blinds of course), there’s air con in the lounge which fills the whole place, and ducted central heating throughout which is great for Winter time! There’s also a large garage for a car or storage. Most importantly, I have a coffee machine!! I am looking to rent out the second bedroom which is big enough for a queen bed.
This property is located in a fantastic position! 10 meters away from the tram stop, and only 10 minutes away from the city. Moonee Ponds Shopping Strip is only a few minutes away with supermarkets, parks, shops, gyms and swimming pools very close by. The room available is a large bedroom, there is currently a quiet student also living there who is friendly and easygoing! The room is priced at $200 a week given its position, its convenience and its size. If you are interested please let me know and we can organise an inspection at your convenience! Bills are in addition to rent and are shared!
