About the property
Beachy holiday vibes with a 90s build and massive windows.
The house is actually a large stand alone townhouse on a block of two, which feels more like a small home.
Fully decked out with new fridge etc, but happy to chat if you have furniture and items dear to your heart.
The bedrooms are all upstairs, all have heating/cooling, new carpet, built in wardrobes with mirrors and black out shutters that help black sound at night, although probably not suitable for a super light sleeper. Large shared bathroom upstairs with bath and shower.
Downstairs are two flexible living spaces, kitchen (with dishwasher), laundry and another toilet.
Outside space wraps around the house and has different levels. Currently working on a native garden at the front, large decking with seating space, lower level has a fire pit and working outdoor bath. Garden has lots of herbs/chilli, keen to get a veggie patch going.
There is plenty of parking on street but also an undercover off the street park if required.
Garage is great for storing bikes, camping/gardening things and craft/art supplies. I’d loveeeee to put a kiln for ceramics in there.
Neighbours are my students / ex students who are lovely but also it’s important to be mindful of that :)

35 years old primary school arts teacher at school up the road.
I’m a warm but sensitive soul, who really values community and connection, so looking to share with someone who also has a kind heart.
Love my alone time/ independence but also enjoy being social.
Often hanging in the local park. A few cute local friends who may pop in for a bevy occasionally. I do enjoy hosting little dinner parties/arts n craft days/ board games here, but also really value calm times at home. I am keen to have some share house meals/lil sweet house family rituals.
I like to go on nature adventure, camping, Arty/crafty/Dancy workshops, sauna/cold plunge, air tea ceremony weekly… also when I have more energy gigs, music festivals, confest. I’ve been getting into bouldering and weight lifting at the gym 2 mins walk from home! Currently also very into ceramics and costume/puppet making.
At home I like to drink tea, lay in the sun, garden a little (currently working on turning the front garden into a natives space), art a little, music a little, read a little, watch cartoons/scifi/cute movies a little haha!
Usually super busy during school term and way more chill during school holidays. Little bit hippie, little bit sporty, little bit witchy, little bit dorky.
Early riser and usually in bed around 10pm on weekdays, the layout of the house makes sound issues less of a problem than other share houses!
Shadow:
5 years old, male kelpie.
At home is very independent, often chilling in sun / kennel outside. (House has dog door)
Does not destroy anything (belongings can be left out with ease of mind)
Gentle weirdo - sensitive to loud noises or moving large objects around (will hide and peer out from behind door)
LOVES adventures, bike rides, swimming, most other dogs (with stalk, chase, play and wrestle with friends) but prefers his own vibe and frisbees haha!
Open to living with another chill well behaved independent dog or smaller dog (no puppies or large dogs)
