Older style highset house if you have a car you can park underneath the house and secure it. Room is decent size as shown in the photos the furniture can be removed including the bed if you have your own. Decent lounge room have theatre recliners. Kitchen has gas oven and cooktop aswell as dishwasher. Also gas hot water so no need to worry about using all the hot water. Very close to public transport and local shops
I love living here because it's handy to everything. Gordon Park seems to be one of those 'forgotten' suburbs that no-one knows about! It's sandwiched between Kedron, Woolowin, Stafford and Lutwyche. If you have mobility problems (there are 2 flights of stairs) or cat allergies it will not suit you. My unit is well-equipped, airy, spacious and has just been repainted so is fresh and clean. It is close to parks and by car about 15 minutes to Brisbane City, ten minutes to Chermside and 3 mins to Stafford City and Lutwyche. The bus stop is 5 minutes' walk and it's one bus to the city or RBH. Beautiful bikeways and walking paths are close by at Kedron Brook too. I'm a happy, professional woman, respectful of others and their space. I'm into nature and wildlife, plus photography. I also work part-time and sometimes that's more like full-time! Occasionally I have to work away for a few days, maybe once every 3 months and it would be great if you were open to feeding the cat and watering plants while I'm away. About the House The house would be perfect for someone who likes to hang out, but also enjoys their own space. There are two living areas (one upstairs and one downstairs), both of which have air-conditioning, but even when it’s not turned on there is really good air flow. There are also three bathrooms, (2 upstairs and one downstairs) and the house is really spacious so it’s actually ideal if you want to be by yourself, or if you’re keen to have some mad chats. There’s a great deck out the back as well which is perfect for a glass of wine after work. Bond is $650 (which is what the total weekly cost is for the house) but the room for rent is $220/ week. Bills aren’t included but will be split evenly across the 4 of you. About the Room The room available for rent is the master bedroom. The room available would fit a double size bed with space around to live comfortably, or a queen and one beside table. You also have access to the main bathroom which is accessible from a door in your room. There is some storage space in the garage if you require it! Sorry no couples.
