It's a massive place, with a massive backyard, and even a spare bedroom for guests. Ducted heating for the winter and a Coolbreeze air filter for the summer. My two housemates are moving out due their to work relocating, but our vibe so far has been very chill, open, and respectful. We will often sit and watch movies, play videogames, or share a drink and a meal together. Great place for gatherings and the spare room is very handy for out-of-town loved ones to have place to stay or that one friend who always has that little extra to drink.
The house is quite an old style, but is very spacious. Your bedroom, like most other rooms in the house is very roomy (4.2m x 4.5m if i'm remembering correctly). It comes with some cupboard space and we have a few spare pieces of furniture available for your use. We have an Xbox connected to the lounge room TV which you're more than welcome to use for games or Netflix. We also have cable internet, and a large backyard which you'll be able to park in if you drive (the driveway can easily fit 3+ cars without boxing each other in). The house has air con which is very essential right now, and central heating (less essential). The house comes fullyh equipped with anything you might need such as a fridge, freezer, washing machine and lots of cookware. The house is a 10 minute walk to Northland shopping centre, a 2 mins walk to the nearest bust stop, and approx. 10-15 minute walk to the 86 tram line. Rent per month is $609 and bills (Water, Gas, Electric, internet) paid separately split evenly between us. Bond is $700. We plan on leaving in March to find a new place so we were looking for someone to stay until around that time. We enjoy living in Preston because it is a peaceful area with great markets only 10 minute walk also the same distance to Preston station and Woolworths supermarket, the 11 tram is a two minute walk away with a 35minute ride to the city . The room is nice not to big but can fit a double bed as you can see in the photos. The rules are paying rent & bills on time and being respectful of everyone in the house and acknowledging that sometimes people just need to have a bit of time to them selves. That being said we are up for hanging out as a group from time to time.

A cute 4 bedroom house in Preston. The house has a beautiful courtyard that is partly covered with a pergola and some lovely spots to sit in the sun. It has a large living room with a comfortable couch and matching arm chairs we also have a TV with xbox, ps3 and Nintendo 64. The house has polished hardwood floors through out majority of the house except the tiled kitchen and bathrooms. We have ducted-heating and so far the house is staying actually staying pretty cool! The bathroom would be shared with one of us and is also where the washing machine is. It's in a really great location to trams and buses, but is about a twenty minute walk to the train station. There's also a supermarket close by and is a close drive to Northland shopping centre. There's a couple of parks close by aswell. We have a ginger cat called Danger that likes his own space, and playing outside like a dogcat. We also have two dogs that just want pats and attention. The animals aren't really allowed on any of the furniture inside, we do have a day bed outside that sometimes they'll sunbake on.
