It's pretty great living here as the location is awesome and the street is arguably the nicest in Brisbane. Everything is super close; the bus-stop/ferry terminal, gym and even some cool places eat and drink directly downstairs. Straight across the road is the river if you fancy a morning run or a casual stroll. You are also about 5 minutes walk from the Gasworks in Newstead so all-in-all it is a pretty handy location. The room available is the front room which backs onto the inner atrium. This is loft style room is on the smaller side but still has a built-in wardrobe and and can still easily fit most things including a queen bed with plenty to spare. You will pretty much have exclusive use of your own semi-bathroom with toilet and sink. The living area is quite large which is great for chilling out, having a drink, listening to music etc. The apartment is nice and modern but also retains its old historic features. Far from your standard, soul-less, inner-city apartment tower, our place is in a quiet block of 8 new apartments on a street that's packed with character. It's about 200m from the bus stop on Brunswick Street (where buses stop every 5/10 minutes and 400m from the river. It's an easy walk to work in the CBD, awesome cafes, bars, bakeries, IGA... Our apartment is nice and bright, and is a really decent size for a two-bedroom place. Apart from your bedroom/bathroom, it's fully furnished (complete with house plants). The living room opens out onto our balcony garden, which has a beautiful view of the sunset. Inside is also nice and bright, and we've got ducted aircon in case it's needed in Summer! Your room is queen-sized, comes unfurnished (option to buy from our current housemates if you need a bed), and has an entire wall of wardrobe! You'll also have the main bathroom to yourself. We've got cable internet and a box for streaming catchup TV—also a subscription to Stan. Unfortunately, we can't accept any pets. Also, non-smokers only, please.
