The apartment is in beautiful Toorak with a view of the tennis courts from your room. You'll have the master bedroom with built in wardrobes and can supply a bed if required. Just a 5-10 minute walk to Toorak village and Woolworths and with a bus stop directly in front of the apartment complex you can't go wrong. Trams are a 5-10 minute walk away and if your feeling adventurous 15-20 min walk to chapel street. I'm pretty easy going but as a reformed smoker and current vaper not a fan of ciggy smells. so no smokers sorry guys I feel your pain. No illicit drugs and yes that includes weed had a few bad experiences with past tenants so thought it best as we won't get along. Rent includes internet which runs at about 10-20mbps so not the fastest but getting a new router so streaming is not an issue. The house is a lovely old Victorian (1920s) home situated in a quiet neighbourhood in Burnley. It's not the most modern of houses, but it definitely has character: wooden floorboards throughout the house, ornamental fireplaces in the bedrooms, as well as in the living area, red bricks in the backyard, quirky bathroom with plenty of storage space.The kitchen itself is super spacious as well. There's a big countertop that goes across one side of the kitchen - perfect for making pizzas! The living area gets plenty of natural light and sunshine with an east facing window; just perfect with your morning coffee. And in the summertime, move out unto the patio overlooking the backyard. The backyard is a work in progress. Doing our best to maintain the garden, and keep the plants alive. This is a great project to take on if you have a green thumb. :) Train station / Tram stop is a 5 mins walk away. There's several parks nearby, the closest one is 100m from the house. The bike trail along the Yarra is super accessible about 150m away. Swan St/Bridge Rd is still very easy to get to, but you get the comforts of living in a very friendly, and quite neighbourhood away for all the hustle and bustle. Furniture situation: The photos show the current furnishing (after my flatmate moved out - he had most of the furniture!) We are missing mainly a coffee table, outdoor set and washing machine, so if you have any of these, that would be handy. Otherwise, more than happy to furnish them too. And you're more than welcome to bring your own stuff of course! The bedroom can come with a queen size bed - seen in photo. It's only a few months old, bought in late November (all new), and used for only a month. If you need one - happy to sell this to you.
