Let me tell you about the place: This place is sensational. You’ve got high ceilings, an open plan space, and light filled rooms. Walk in and see light wood furnishings, a suuuper comfortable King Living couch, a TV with some Netflix for you to chill with, and a balcony that opens to views of our lush and green residential park and, I don’t know, the CITY!? Your room is medium sized with an included leather black bed frame and headboard, double size mattress, and a wicker side table. Your wardrobe is tall (and bigger than mine. Rude.), with space for storage. You also have two massive floor to ceiling windows with views to the park and city. There are two bathrooms here (one is my ensuite) which means no bathroom sharing. You’ll have primary use of the main bathroom and, plus, the bathroom is huge so you have lots of space to dance it out or flail your arms around a bit if needed. The kitchen has brand new appliances, stone benches, and the pantry is massive. I also have about 25 million recycle bags for the grocery store run. There’s further storage space in the linen cupboard that has deep set shelves, and the laundry is built into the wall also. This building is brand new and has secure access at all entry points with swipes to the foyer and lifts, and a key required for the apartment. There’s a 25 metre pool now available, and a brand new gym. There’s a park right outside also with daily fitness boot camps being run, some park gym type equipment that I can’t describe because I don’t know the lingo, and social events being run for all the complexes a part of this street. Transport-wise there’s the 505 bus that stops a 1-2min walk away around the corner that goes to Melbourne University and also stops at Royal Park Station. There is also tram stop 22 on Flemington Road a 20-30 minute walk away. The bike ride is about 15-20 minutes to the University of Melbourne. There’s a cafe a 2 minute walk on our street also, and we’re a quick drive away from Brunswick and all the goods it has to offer. Unfortunately there is no definite undercover parking available as my car is there, but permit parking is possible outside the building. I have noticed a lot of vacant car spaces in the garage, so negotiating use of a neighbour’s spot is very promising.
