The unit is right next to a bus stop and near the West End ferry stop. There are shops and cafes near by and a Saturday market in walking distance! The room you will be renting is large enough to fit a king size bed and a desk and draws. There is a built in wardrobe that is also quite large. You will be sharing a bathroom with Madison, but it is also sizely. The living area and kitchen is open and clean with a small balcony! I have enjoyed living in the unit and I’m sad to leave!
The building just opened this year and is well placed between Montague Rd and Boundary St, meaning all the best parts of West End are within walking distance. If you are looking from a place to call home, this is the right one for you. It’s not a party house, plenty space, we keep all tidy and clean (exception for my room that I toke the picture just before coming here and was messy because I was packing lol ). Internet it’s payed monthly 13.30 dólares and works fine. You have everything near by: Aldi 2 blocks, river 2 blocks, many yoga studios, barre, restaurantes, bus that take you to the city 192 in front of the house and 60 in front of Aldi - 60 pass every 5 minutes! Citybike just 2 blocks as well. Pretty easy to live in this place! We have 5 rooms but only 4 people living there. 1 is guess room and you can choose which one do you prefere. You can keep if the furniture (bed and wardrobe) or without! It’s up to you! The best thing about the unit is the location. You have easy access to the bus lines 199, 60, 192 and 198 as well as to the West End ferry station, so you'll never get stuck somewhere not knowing how to get back home. Furthermore, you can easily get around on foot or bike. Restaurants, ALDI, the West End Markets, Orleigh Park, Urban Climb,... everything you need is only a short distance away. The unit itself is kept clean and fully furnished, although some of the decorations and the balcony table seen in one of the photos will go with my current housemate. The unit has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and aircon in the living area. There are two balconies, one from the living room and the other one is shared from the bedrooms. On street parking is available and usually no problem. The room available is unfurnished, but quite big (approximately 4 x 4 m) and has an ensuite bathroom. It can easily fit a queen bed and other furniture. On both sides next to the ensuite bathroom are build-in wardrobes. The wooden dividing wall on the balcony gives some extra privacy and provides afternoon shade. My housemate made herself a cosy reading area there. :-) Internet and electricity are not included in the rent, so here a brief summary including the bills: Big room + ensuite bathroom: $200/week Internet: $11.25/week Electricity: about $125/quarter Great location I'm looking to fill the room by the 15th of January or earlier, so the move-in date is quite flexible.
