Very quiet room available in a West End cottage with almost invisible flatmates. Bills are extra (Unlimited fast internet $30/mth + gas/electricity we split 3 ways so approx $30/mth each). I'm sure we can sort something out if you're only staying for a short time. I have a wardrobe in the room at the moment, and as you can see from the two different photos, I had a king single in there at one stage with lots of room (but also have a double memory foam bed in storage I can put in there) or my current flatmate swapped it as he had a queen size bed, shelf and bedside table he wanted in there. Room is approx 3.5 x 3m. There is storage room under the house and it is secure. Boundary St restaurant/bars are only a block away, and it's 2-3 blocks to Aldi, west end markets and the river. The 199 bus is at the end of the street (150m) or city cat is about 10-15 min walk. I also have 4 chooks out the back, webber BBQ, outdoor setting and a herb garden if you're into cooking. Kitchen has everything you would need, plus a gorgeous coffee machine and dishwasher. The street is very family orientated with children so no wild party's, quiet and friendly. The street only has 2hr parking but at the end of the street and beyond is unlimited - remember being zone 1 and West End it can be tricky. A motorbike could easily fit under the house though.
Hi, I am looking for one housemate to share the 2 bedroom unit I am living in. It is a 2 bedroom fully furnished unit and we will be sharing a bathroom. The bedroom has a double bed, bedside table, a desk and a big wardrobe. We can organise some space if you want to bring a bookshelf or some small furniture. The unit has ac in the living and stand fans in the bedrooms. We have a drier, but in Qld luckily we have plenty of sun, so I do prefer to hang the clothes in the clothesline and be environmentally friendly. Hey everyone, We have a massive room available for rent in West End, located close to the water on a very pretty street with lots of trees, a park, community garden and communal large clay pizza oven. The unit is surrounded by bus stops and about a 10 minute walk to the shops and heart of West End, or to the ferry. The room is fully furnished with ceiling fan, hardwood floors, a double bed, bedside table, lamp, bookcase, dresser and wardrobe with plenty of room to spare for a study space, hobby space or area to do yoga. The room has its own attached balcony which gets plenty of sunlight and is perfect for growing potted plants. The room also gets lots of natural light and airflow, you could probably have a few indoor plants as well. We have FTTH (fiber to the home) internet (super fast!), dedicated undercover storage area and laundry with washing machine, carport as well as on-street parking, fully kitted out kitchen (white goods, cutlery, kitchen utensils, plates, cups, etc), and furnished lounge room with a big flat screen tv and remote controlled ceiling fan. This room would be ideal for couples as it is so spacious and halved between two people the rent is very affordable, however everyone is welcome to apply. At the moment we each put aside an additional $30 a week for utilities which covers all the bills. No garden maintenance or anything required other than sweeping leaves on the balcony every now and then if they bother you, the landlord has someone come to blow the leaves from the carport, roof, gutters and driveway. We have the best landlord who is super friendly, very responsive and looks after the property well.

My friend Meg (24) and I (27) have a room for rent in West End. Townhouse is a new build super modern, street parking, large room and has its own bathroom, has built ins, fully air conditioned. $280 with all bills included (electricity, aircon, NBN unlimited internet, water, gas, Netflix, hayu).
