I am a semi retired after 35 years in the health industry, now working 3 to 5 days per week at Bunnings. A gentleman with old school values, whose children have grown and left the nest.
In 2026 I intend to travel so would like to rent 1 to 2 rooms , so the house is occupied while I'm away.
I respect individuals privacy, and I expect them to do the same. I am reasonable and approachable, a non smokers, tell terrible dad jokes, read non fiction, garden and whatever else takes my fancy on my days off.
Smokers and vapours are tolerated if they are doing that outside the house.
No ILLEGAL DRUGS or Load parties will be tolerated.
I do have a BBQ so you can have friends and family over if they respect the property and neighbours.
If you have a partner thats fine but no extended stays 1 to 2 nights unless prior arrangement with me are discussed.
I prefer female tenants as I feel they tend to respect property better than young males" I have a son so I can say that with experience and confidence 😅
The home is still being renovated so there is a shared bathroom until the main bathroom and laundry is completed , hopefully by the end of February to March 2026, unless the builder doesn't fall through a roof again 😬.
There is a free range rabbit named jolene 🐇who is house trained and has her own doggy door. She has a slight attitude problem until she gets to know you.
