Urgently seeking a place for myself and my 8 year old! Landlord has decided not to renew lease and it's up in March.

Hi, my name is Matt. I'm 31, and I've been the sole carer for my niece Ally for nearly 3 years. I'm a quiet, introverted sort of person, and Ally's your standard rambunctious 8 year old.

We like video games and movie nights, cooking and music, and even though kids can be loud we try to keep the volume down and be respectful of others! Ally and I have lived with flatmates before and I'd be happy to provide them as references.

I'm a non-smoker/non-drinker etc but I'm easy-going and don't mind if others are (though ideally we'd prefer people to smoke outside if they do). We are omnivores, but we always try and accommodate when sharing a kitchen space if you aren't!

I've recently finished a cert 3 and am looking for work. For now, I have Centrelink payments as a stable income (parenting payment and family tax) and can pay up to $450 a week without any issues, and I've never once been late paying bills.

We have a cat who has lived with dogs and cats in the past, but if its necessary we can try and re-home him. Ideally we're seeking two bedrooms for rent, or one that's a fair size to accommodate us both!

We don't have any preferences as far as flatmates, young or old, single or couple, family or friends, we try and get along with everyone.
