Hi, I'm Susie, 23 years old, full time student. I'm an easy going person, clean and organised. I'm respectful of people's boundaries and their privacy. I'm pretty happy to do my own thing, but also enjoy being social with my house mates.
Looking at renting a new place in Klemzig region but to strengthen the Application need someone who is keen to move soon for a property that is in Northgate atm which is a very large new townhouse where you will have your own bathroom and so on. Message me as would like to organise something as soon as possible. Pete
I recently moved to South Australia from Victoria. I'm hoping to live near Norwood where I work, otherwise Adelaide or near the Klemzig or Paradise interchanges. Pets are great but I don't have any of my own - If you have a dog I would love to walk and play with it (and hug it forever!) if that's okay! I love gardens, parks and the bush but it's also fine if the property doesn't have outdoor space. I'm not a huge cook, so if you love to cook for hours or if you're particular about your kitchen or have diet or religious restrictions I won't be in your way. However, I do love to bake some goodies to share regularly! :) I like to keep things clean, so a dishwasher in a shared house would be lovely, but not essential at all. A non-shared bathroom or en-suite would be fantastic. I'm happy to share it with visitors to the house. I love experiencing and sharing all kinds of media and art: movies, books, tv, art, music etc. I'm a computer science programmer by trade, and maybe.. occasionally... just sometimes... I'm a total geek :) I'm an occasional social drinker, but am happy to respect an alcohol free house. I love to kick back with a movie or netflix followed by a drink and a chat! I'm open minded and love it when others share their perspectives and experiences. When I'm in the middle of a fun or engaging discussion, meeting new people, or geeking out over a shared love, I'm quite lively and talkative, but I'm an introvert at heart who also loves to read or draw for hours on end, so if you're a private person that's cool too :) I'm looking for a completely non-smoking house indoors, but where it's okay to smoke outside occasionally. I have quit all but a few a day when stressed, but can't stand the smell! I'm currently staying with family, so I can move any time. I don't have a required length of stay but at least more than 3 months would be great, and I am happy to commit to a longer duration like a year if required. I hope this gives you a good idea of who I am and what I'm looking for and I look forward to hearing from you, Cheers! I hope to meet you soon!
Hi! My name is Derek. I'm from Canada and I'm doing a semester abroad at the University of South Australia. I'm looking forward to exploring the area and make some new friends. I love sports especially ice hockey and volleyball.
Hi ! I'm an apprentice in hydrogeology and I would be working at hope valley water treatment plant during 9 weeks. I love to travel, to discover new cultures and to make friends! Oh, and I'm french by the way (but no worries I have good temper). I also love music (I am learning lyric art) and cinema. I do sports when I am motivated (squash, running, and swimming). To finish, I don't have a facebook account ('cause I prefer to spend my free time reading or watching some movies) but you can find me on Linkedin if you want. Cheers !
I will start my new job in Adelaide on 23 July. We need to find short-term accommodation so that my partner and I have more time to find suitable long-term accommodation. We could speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Hi, I am a graduating student that is looking for a place ASAP. I do clean after myself, look after myself, and is respectful to others. I am looking for full-time employment, but will not try to be lazing about all time.
East going tradesman , start work earky, so generally in bed earky during the week.. happy to have a chat and share cooking if required.. I clean up after myself, and happy to do chores, and help with gardening .. not a party person, but dint mind a quiet drink or two !
Hi, I’m Sharon, need a better picture to start.. goodness I look stunned ha ha.. I’m completely uncomplicated. I’m at an age where I know who I am, pretty low maintenance. I keep myself to myself. I'm quiet, clean and tidy. I have an illness causing me constant pain so my favourite thing to do whenever I can is lay in bed watching reading a good book or watching rubbish on Netflix/Stan. I’m financially secure I just don't want the responsibility of a full private rental home and garden. Too much for me to take on. I’m old enough to know what I want, need and wish may be different. However if I seek what I need I know I will find it. Also I require secure parking as a must preferably with gates or roller door etc... I am fine with stairs.. good excercise 😀 I don’t have a particular suburb in mind. New start in my life I am open to any location as ideally I would prefer to live alone in a granny flat, unit, townhouse, shed refurb, bungalow, caravan etc where I can live alone, too be honest I’m extremely dubious about sharing. I was 16 the last time I lived with a stranger. Never a problem back then but I’m a lot older now and love my own space & time. No you having friends over for drinks every week is not okay.. I love peace and quiet, I keep myself to myself. Busy bodies I struggle to tolerate. I’m not antisocial nor impolite. I can make polite educated conversation, I genuinely care about interest in a conversation, there’s something to be learned from everyone we meet however I don’t want a new friend as such.. although if you’re sad you’ll laugh easily at my silly wit. I have a kind, caring, giving personality however I don’t know how to say no hence hesitation to share , I despise confrontation and struggle to escape the clutches of a busy body hence feel I’m best alone under my own roof. In this particular stage of my life , I need some me time. My children are adults, I do have some minor medical issues I’d like to focus on and ideally I’d love just to be Sharon doing what I want , when I want. Whilst remaining remaining pleasent to everyone I associate with I truly am desperate for some alone time. I’m fortunate I can afford to love freedom without financial burden. Basically sum it up Sharon..... My no 1 preference is to live alone with or without utilities included. As I’m so extremely keen to live alone that means comprise between us and I’m all for compromising. I ask you for very little. Secure parking is important to me if possible? Also I prefer my own bed due to having fibromyalgia, I need a great supportive bed, unless yours is better than mine lol. Otherwise I’m not fussed if furnished or not. I can furnish myself. Price I am prepared to pay would be is negotiable depending on the right property. For the property that ticks all my boxes I’d look at spending $350 p/w. Cash available or I have a housing trust sa preapproval. Ideally I’d prefer to use their bond and keep my savings earning interest but as I said I have pre approval from them. Worked my entire life, I’m financially secure however not interested in wasting my money on private rental, due the fact my illness seriously restricts me with maintaining a larger property. Unless it came at a price I can factor the costs for my cleaner to cover and a gardener. Single bedroom unit maybe an option. Not ruling it out completely but ideally 1 bed townhouse? I’m extremely flexible in general.. My move in date is flexible as is the lease term & conditions. Location I’m open to anywhere for the the right property especially if I can be the sole tenant with Secured Parking. Utilities, internet inc a bonus but guess what? Yep I am flexible for the right property. Thanks for your consideration. I can provide personal and professional referrals and references if required? I’ve been sharing this house with an old friend for 6 years. He owns it I help him renovate over the the years. However as I said no longer want the up keep of a large home and garden due to my illnes and it’s me time. I can only take care of my own cleaning, cooking etc and unable to maintain gardens any longer. Tired of cleaning up,after others and paying all the bills. I really want some Sharon time, decide what’s next in my life. I’m almost 44, single, no pets, as I said my children are adults with their own homes & lives now. Repeat regarding lease I’m open to periodic lease if you prefer. 3,6,12 if prefered. Trial period? Honestly I have no idea about renting anymore. Sold my home after separation before moving here, so I’m out of the loop by 20+ years. I’m very easy to get along with. Just don’t start me talking as you see I have no off button haha... Actually no it’s more text, can’t just stop at 1 paragraph. Sorry that is a flaw.. I’m non judgmental, not interested in your business, race or religion. I truely have no personal judgment to any person. I don’t care whether you like men, woman or stuffed toys, whether your skin is yellow, black or green. Whether you have a disability. I do not judge should you suffer mental, illness or physical illness. I am the least judgmental person you shall ever meet, however should racism, or any rude judgement be witnessed by me. I cannot just walk away. I stand up for people, right or wrong. I like to think I’m tactful but defensive towards bullies. I respect everyone as an individual and do except respect and mutual trust in return. Perhaps if you are racist we wouldn’t fit. Should this be a share house obviously mutual respect is a must for me.. Should you feel your property and I would be a good fix please feel free to contact me at your convenience. Anything I’ve possibly missed.. Please feel free to ask. If I were to consider sharing it could only be a maximum of 1 other tenant. So 2 in the property, no preference to sex, age, height etc as far as I’m concerned ha. I can’t cook at all. I appreciate your time, congratulations if you read it this far 😂😂 Regards, Sharon
Hi, My name is Damon. I grew up in a small country town on the South-West tip of Western Australia called Windy Harbour (about 20 permanent residents). There was no mains electricity, and the nearest town was about 30km away so self-reliance was a virtue. As such, I learned to repair all sort of things (basic plumbing, carpentry, mechanics, etc.), and have repaired little things in the various houses I have stayed in over the years. I have travelled and lived all over Australia, with the exception of NSW and Queensland owing to my work in the mining industry (diamond drilling). I have lived in share houses with people of all ages (mid 60's to early 20's) and can safely say that I get along with just about everybody. I have a few degrees (I was dumb enough to study philosophy at uni!) and am a voracious reader who can hold a conversation on just about any subject. I go to the gym about 5-6 times a week and am fond of martial arts, love spicy food, and am capable of cleaning up after myself. I've just arrived in Adelaide and am looking for a place where I can do some work and get a few internet based businesses up and running while working part-time to pay the bills. I can provide references if you'd like to talk to some of the people I've lived with recently. Anything else you'd like to know just ask. Look forward to hearing from you, Regards, Damon
I'm a 29 year old who is currently working full-time. I'm a quite individual who keeps to herself. I'm an early riser and early settler. I like to spend my downtime relaxing by watching movies, reading, cleaning, cooking or finding other things to occupy my time. I'm happy to have a chat, play board games, etc. I don't drink alcohol or smoke. I don't have any pets and I'm very allergic to cats (sorry - they're cute tho!) I am looking for a mature and independent person/people to live with. I would also be interested in meeting like-minded people for a team-up. I'm pretty flexible on suburbs to live in. As I am comfortable doing 40 minute drives to work in the city, I'm happy to live further out of the city to fit within budgets.
I've been living in a share house for the past 3 years, currently have my own business. I am going to be caring for a family friend from NZ who has a dog, he's unfortunately being force out of home by his father. Intend to stay for 12 months while we look for a place of our own. My lease ends in November so I will need to move either just before or on the 26th of November. I'm a very clean person and always pay my rent, I like to play games in my down time I like to socialise. I mainly stay within my own area and keep to myself at first but I tend to become more social once I get to know people.
Currently I'm studying Early Childhood Education and Care. I am an easy going person who loves food. I like cooking & share it when I do a big batch. I enjoy a quiet, peaceful & safe environment.
Hi! I'm planning on moving from Brisbane to Adelaide hopefully around October (or maybe sooner) this year as I'd like to become a flight attendant in Adelaide. I currently work at the airport in Brisbane for a ground handling company and would transfer down to Adelaide and wait for a job to pop up in the new year. I'm very easy-going, clean, friendly/bubbly and I have been working in America the last 3 years at a summer camp, so I LOVE to travel! I also love binge watching shows on netflix, taking naps (my job is shift work) and going out with friends to chill out and have a cheeky drink. I'd love to be able to make friends with my fellow flatmates and hang out every now and then :)
Hi, my name is Patrick, I'm 27 and work full time as a civil engineer. I'm single, non smoker and I like a bit of a balance between hanging out and being an introvert. I have a bedroom's worth of furniture and a few other odds and sods but that's about it. I'm friendly and easy going as well as clean. I also tell amazing puns. Hopefully this is a good introduction!
Hi, I'm quite an outgoing person who enjoys socialising and doesn’t mind a wine and cheese of an evening at times but I also like to have time to myself as well. I am 33 years old and work full time. I am fairly easy going and like a tidy, clean house but am not a neat freak. I am originally from country NSW and don't know many people in Adelaide so would be looking to make some friends as well. I love animals but don’t have one so open to living with people with pets.
Hello all! My name is Madison but friends call me Maddy. I'm 21, a student at Adelaide University and I work casual in retail. I'm a very compassionate, understanding person who loves getting to know people. That being said, I enjoy my alone time and respect when others need the same. I am looking for a room in a house with other likeminded people. I'm not fussy about the house, just as long as it's somewhere I can relax and keep my things I will be very happy!
Hi! I'm a friendly 23 year old female, working full time as a Physiotherapist in Adelaide. I'm looking for a place to live where I can chill out at the end of a busy day, but also chat to housemates if they're around. I am clean and tidy, and value equal distribution of domestic responsibilities within a household. I already have my own bedroom furniture, and would prefer to move in with 1-2 other females at the end of 2018/early 2019. I look forward to hearing from you!
I am extremely clean and tidy and never leave my dishes behind. Owning my own business (cafe in norwood) I am out of the house for long hours but still love a good bit of banter when I am around. I have a big heart and love to let loose on the weekend and am hoping to meet some like minded people to live with
I am mature age with own furniture. Unfortunately my art deco "heritage listed" home of the last 10 years has been knocked down and I have to find a place for myself and possessions. (I can't do without my big screen TV's, computer equipment or 16 drawer office furniture, but can put the rest in storage if need be). I am single, have references spanning many years and would like to view properties pending initial chat/conversation. I would prefer to live quietly in a home with privacy and a relaxed atmosphere. Please let me know of a time agreeable to discuss possibilities. Kind Regards, Michael .

Relocating from Melbourne to Adelaide. I am required to complete clinical placement in Adelaide, hence why I'm relocating for work and study. I am easy going, friendly and am respectful of other people. I do enjoy my quiet time, but I believe there needs to be a fine balance between work, study and social life. It would also be nice to make some new friends to show me around Adelaide :)
