Hi, I’m Angelique, 24. I have two cats—not up for discussion. I’m looking for a place in Melbourne with a move in date around 2 March 2026 or earlier. My budget is $100 per week ($150 rent per week max) and I’m hoping for a 6-12 month stay or longer.
I’m down to earth, LGBTIQA+ friendly/ally, clean, sober, and a non smoker. I was born with asthma and I also have two kittens who will be joining me, so I need a smoke free home. I enjoy board games, quiet nights in, and a balance of social time and personal space. I’m hoping to join or create a household that is tidy, calm, and welcoming.
I’m ideally looking for a place of my own so I can live quietly with my kittens. That said, I’m open to a sharehouse if it is calm, tidy, and a good fit, especially if it helps keep costs manageable.
I have always lived with animals and have no allergies.
Right now I’m exploring options without any rush as my current lease ends around mid March 2026. I’m very open to meeting potential housemates, viewing places, and seeing where there is a good fit.
I’m especially drawn to areas closer to nature, ideally somewhere with lots of trees or rainforest-like environments, while still having access to public transport since I do not have a car yet. I’ve enjoyed the North East and East suburbs, but I’m broadening my search as my asthma has worsened this year, so I'm hoping for somewhere around the rainforest areas but within an easy walking distance to public transport.
I currently work in dog walking and pet sitting, and I’m also looking for more consistent work, ideally in cafes or hospitality where I have experience as a barista, cafe all rounder, and kitchen hand. I’m flexible and planning to find something closer to wherever I settle.
If you have a place or any questions, feel free to reach out.
Looking forward to connecting and meeting future housemates. —not looking to babysit your children, if you want me to look after your children, that will cost money. Not here for labour.
Thanks,
Angelique
