Hello, I'm a mature age PhD student studying zoology and also work 3 to 5 days per week sometimes in Brisbane and sometimes Armidale (in the same job but different offices).

I would like to find single room accommodation in Brisbane, prob. in the south, maybe near Sunnybank I will prob. move back and forth between Armidale and Bris every month or two, but I will pay for the room while away and leave my things in the room.
I work in Rocklea, so a suburb not too far by bus/train would be nice.

I'm not sure how long for yet because it would depend on the job, but I think at least 6 months and possibly a year or longer. I will come to Bris on 28 Feb so looking for accommodation any time after that

I have three pet white rats who would live quietly and cleanly in a cage in my room. I am sure they won't cause problems and happy to move out you find that they do. Can send photos if you like.

I am clean and tidy, fairly quiet and used to living in share houses and like meeting people.

I have lived oversea a quite a bit and can speak French, Spanish and Chinese (Mandarin) (although badly) in case that makes any difference.

Please let me know if you have anything suitable.

So far I haven't paid any subscription to flatmates.com so I think they might delay my replies.
