My name's Cameron. I'm a friendly, slightly eccentric ESL teacher. I like music, books, movies, studying Spanish and ocassionally performing at open mics. I'm looking for somewhere to call home for the next 9 months or so. I'm usually pretty quiet and I always do my dishes :) Please give me a yell if you'd like to know more about me.
Not a party one. But i do think that i need a bit of it. Quiet. From Mexico, got my residency last year. I work in the morning and afternoon. Sometimes i am away for the weekends as i do look after 4 kids. Keep me pretty busy or sometimes i just hang at home watching something. Love play videogames. Like cider and wine, also beer. No much of a drinker though. Going through a break up of 4years relationship. I am shy at the beginning. I am very easygoing. Clean and tidy is a must. I dont cook. And if i cook the kitchen would be a mess. (Clean it up later of course). Respect is a must. :)
Hi there! I'm a full-time university student studying paramedicine and nursing that's looking for somewhere to stay while I complete my degree! I work part-time doing modelling and lash/brow technician work, however I'm not a partier but am a clean and tidy person that's looking for somewhere that's quiet with like-minded people!
Hi! My name is Cian and I'm an architecture student at QUT Gardens Point. I'm in my third year of the five year degree so I sure do have my work cut out for me, and I'm looking for a cute little inner-city sharehouse to live out the rest of my student life in. Between uni I work at a service station doing either early morning starts or overnight shifts so unfortunately I don't have a reliable schedule or sleep pattern and my body hates me for it, but hopefully you won't hate me for it too. My aim is to make everyone I'm living with happy and comfortable, so if it means I have to change my ways in order to please my flatmates then I'm more than happy to. Not that my course allows me a lot of spare time, but when I get free time I like to listen to nostalgic records, do a bit of casual photography and binge on bad movies. I'm used to keeping to myself so the most you'll know of me is probably going to be the clicking of my keyboard and mouse late at night while I try to finish off an assignment.
I work at Kmart as a casual worker in Aspley although towards the end of this year I will be looking to either go part-time or get a second job. I'm in school in grade 11 and go to school near Brisbane CBD. I'm moving out of home because my family environment isn't the best. I'm aware I am quite young (16) but I am very responsible and hard working (reflected in my grades), I have aspirations of becoming a solicitor and I am extremely respectful and quiet although I am sociable and always up for a chat. Feel free to message me! :)
My name is Clancy and I'm a university student doing a double degree in Education and French Literature. I work in hospitality to help with my studies. I am moving with my partner Brayden, and we are both a clean and studious couple, who love being friendly and sociable.
Hey guys, I've just arrived from Sydney and looking for a furnished room in a sharehouse. Im currently working 30 hours a week in hospitality while I look for something in my usual field of construction. My hours are kind of strange - Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights until the early mornings. During my Sunday-Wednesday downtime, often I'll go down to the Coast or to Byron and stay with friends/relatives for a night or two. Otherwise, you'll find me attempting to cook, reading, trying to learn Spanish, playing guitar (poorly but quietly), planning my next holiday, having a drink with friends, or just wasting time on the internet. I'm very easy going. I won't host parties but don't mind at all if you do.. Basically I'm hoping for someone relatively chilled and easy going! Also somewhere to park my ute.. Looking to move in mid May. Cheers!
Hi my name is Sue (23) i work in the health care industry during the day and on my days off I enjoy catching up with friends or catching up on my favourite Netflix series. I also like to keep my space clean and tidy all the time . I am looking for a room close to the city , flexible on furniture and preferably with aircon and with my own bathroom. feel free to send me a text or an inbox :)
We're two gals who are looking for a third person to move into a place toward the end of April/beginning May. We're both in our early 20's, and one of us is a student studying at UQ (both of us working as well). We're pretty easy going and can enjoy a good netflix binge but also don't mind getting a lil down and dirty some nights. Ideally we're looking for someone we can be friends with but will also respect the fact that sometimes we'll want to retreat into our room and have some quiet time. One of us is vegan, and the other is vegetarian and we'd love if our other roomie could have a similar diet, but we're obviously not opposed to living with a meat eater as long as you're respectful toward our choices (and vice versa of course). Preferably looking at places around Annerley, Greenslopes, Coorparoo, West End, Highgate Hill, Dutton Park , Paddington, Auchenflower, Toowong, Indooroopilly, St Lucia (basically anywhere close enough to the city/UQ so that it isn't a mission and a half to get to places) Would prefer to be paying 150-165 p/w but willing to go to 175 (but not really)
Hello! I'm currently looking for 2-3 lovely people to move in with around early May (lease ends on the 9th). I’m 19, a full time student at QUT studying interior design and architecture, super chill, friendly, respectful of privacy, and don't typically party much but won't mind if you do xx Feel free to message me here or on FB at Wendy Do
I am a 31 year old Christian female full-time administration worker at a hospital. I am a pretty quiet person and like to relax/do hobbies on the weekend. I like to garden and read. I like going for hikes and going to the beach. I am looking at studying part-time soon as well so am looking for someone similarly quiet. I am clean, tidy, responsible and quiet. I am friendly and respectful of privacy and space. I am looking for someone who is friendly, happy to share a meal every now and again and have a chat. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker.
I’m a 26 year old retail manager - looking to downsize from my own apartment in June. I’m easy to get along with, very tidy, appreciate socialising - but also like and respect privacy and personal down time. I spend my spare time reading, or creating art, when I’m not binge watching Netflix or Stan. Looking to find a reasonably priced room in a friendly sharehouse, to minimalise my expenses in preparation for travel!
Hi my name is Mykel, 26, I work full time (FIFO) when I am home I do enjoy making the most of my RNR, I love cooking, I’m currently studying in my spare time. Full-time student working part-time at Coles. Big sports fan and do a lot of rock climbing in my spare time not big on clubbing but enjoy drinks at home. Clean and respectable.
Hi :D I'm after anything from a room in student accom. or a granny-flat sort of set-up (i.e. something a bit more secluded) to a room in a big share-house, but ideally I'd prefer something a bit more social (and a bit less expensive :P ) with like-minded, chilled-out people also in their 20-30's. I do contracting work through my own ABN as an electrical draftsman as well as run a small eBay business - so luckily I get to work from home (at least as much as possible). I like to spend my spare-time binge-watching TV shows (Black Mirror, GoT, Westworld etc.) or tinkering with various tech, e.g. fixing up old laptops or creating Frankenstein phones out of multiple old\broken ones lying around. I always enjoy going out for drinks now & then, but always prefer when there's a good band playing. I have been studying Psychology at UQ (St Lucia) but am currently taking a break from my degree, so have opted to fill that gap by educating myself in tech-related topics to help out my small business as well as taking the time to write music whenever I get the chance.
Hey there I'm Stephmo (they/them pronouns). My housemate, Kavita, and I are moving to a bigger, better place to start a new sharehouse! (Current lease is up in the start of June). We are looking for one or two other people who wish to join us on this adventure to find a sweet new pad. Looking quite strictly in these areas: Kangaroo Point, West End, East Brisbane, Woolloongabba, Highgate Hill, New Farm. I have a rescue dog, Jedda. She has issues with other animals so will have to be the solo doggo at this house. (Housemates will need to be onboard with having her around the house and preferably up for cuddles, often). We have basic house furniture and appliances including fridge and washing machine but happy for more to be brought along and we can make it work! Maintaining an eco-friendly household is essential (if you aren't interested in at least basic recycling, then this won't work). About me: Queer, non-binary, feminist, pro-choice, anti-racist, lefty. I'm an adult who is pretty good at adulting, even though it's hard. I can do the things, pay the bills, keep the cleans, you know the deal. I have an all-too-real phobia of dirty tea-towels and sponges. I built a campervan last year and dream of living in a bus one day. Camping trips & outdoor adventures are life. About Kavita: Kavita | She/Her/Hers A PhD-er, focussed on smart cities, gender and social justice, whose dream is to be colocated to the QUT Gardens-Point campus. Her weekdays are uni-intensive and weekends are magical adventures. She: makes the occasional cake and curry for 'family' dinners. Likes to secretly do too much---gigs, climbs, poetry, meals, board games, hikes, beach, Brooklyn 99, bendy yoga, Handmaid's Tale, quiet lay-ins, tarot... We are both clean and tidy and want to live with people who prioritise this in the communal areas. I will remain 100% responsible for dog related things, aside from the aforementioned Jedda cuddles which are available 24/7. Kavita and I do enjoy our own space at times but keen for making real friendships with housemates who enjoy chats and the occasional drink/meal together! We both enjoy a quiet, peaceful household - definitely not a party place! If you think you'd be the right fit, send us a message!
I am an easy going, light hearted person who enjoys a chat but also my own time. I tend to go with the flow and have been out of home since i was 18. I am clean, courteous and working full time so when i am not at work i am chilling out with friends, reading or visiting family.
