Hi, I'm Jack. I recently landed my grad job as a process engineer, and with my current tenancy expiring, I'm looking for a new place with a few friendly faces to call home. While I do like a good chat, I'm generally the kind of housemate who'll keep to himself. Born and bred in Brisbane, I enjoy reading and keeping fit in my spare time.
Easy to get along with, not really into the party scene but will enjoy a few quite drinks at home. I've been renting for 4 years now so I'm respectful of your privacy, clean, cook for myself, pay on time, all those good things we say to sell ourselves. Always happy to help out around the house if you're over worked and need a hand ect. Moved to Brisbane from SW QLD to study, I currently work fulltime in the city in IT. In my downtime I read a lot of books, play a few video games and sometimes head out for a night out. I currently own a bed/desk plus a few extra items for my bedroom, if needed I can also bring with me a fridge, chest freezer, drawers and pingpong table if desired. My moving date is flexible depending on when I find someone to fill my current room, my current lease ends on the 16th.
Hi, I'm Tamara and I'm dutch. I still live in Amsterdam, but will move to Brisbane to start a new adventure soon. Easy going, tidy, sociable are 3 words that would describe me best. I always lived with room mates, so I can say I'm pretty familiar with the whole room mate atmosphere. In general I always try to make sure that I'm considerate of my room mates and also leave a nice environment for them. I love having drinks and couch sessions with my roomies, altho I can also enjoy some alone time. Currently I'm working as a product manager for a sustainable fashion brand, but I feel like a new challenge. That's why I decided to leave my job and country to start fresh in Australia.
21yo, fulltime student, employed, hardworking, respectable, likes to socialise (but very shy and quiet), likes orgainsation, clean and tidy. if im not studying or at work find me in the kitchen cooking or reading a book. And when I can I do love heading out to attend some gigs and have a good boogie.
Hi, I am Hyeongmin who is a uni student studying in Business at UQ. Currently, I am looking for a flat or a house near a shopping complex (should be within a walking distance), city, and uni. I am very easygoing, friendly, tidy and neat :) Feel free to message me! I am really keen to arrange an inspection of your house. :)
Hi There I'm El! currently working full time in admin and absolutely loving it! I consider myself friendly, adaptable and down to earth - I do very much enjoy my own space and privacy but will can also be quite social so I'm always down for a chat/ drink! I'm often on the go quite a fair bit - I'm usually down the gold coast most weekends or going to other friends houses.. However I am looking for a space where I can have a friend come stay the night if I'd like too! I'm not the most active myself but I do try and force myself to go to the gym and go to yoga classes every now and again :)
We're a couple and our male friend looking for a place to move in by the 9th of Feb. We are a chill group of people; 1 working full time and two full-time students at UQ and Griffith. We enjoy a drink on the weekends and like to have a few friends over sometimes, but like our peace and quiet during the week. Looking for a person or two (preferably female to balance it out) who is easy going and friendly - we don't mind if you want to keep to yourself but it would be nice to hang out / watch movies and shows / have drinks / play smash bros!
I'm a freelance graphic designer and in need of a few weeks stay (hopefully longer work dependent) I've got work lined up as I've been in Brisbane a couple times before. I'm from the UK on working holiday visa
I am a very clean, open, friendly, helpful and considerate person who has traveled quite a lot over the past 10 years. This means I do have some stories to tell, but am also interested in listening to other people's stories and experiences in life. I am a Painter & Decorator and just recently also got my diploma in Thai Massage. In case you are looking for someone to paint your house within the next 3 weeks, I might also be your man - going back to Germany on February 17 to help family with their business for a few months :) This much about the career-/ personality section from my end so far. Ideally I am looking for a clean room with own fridge (not essential, but a plus), bed and maybe en-suite in a smaller and not so busy house or apartment. Suburbs south of the river and close to CBD preferred and unfortunately I do require a parking space at least somewhere nearby - doesn't need to be covered or on the property.
Hi! I'm sociable and easy going, but still enjoy my study/down time. I'm looking for an open, comfortable home, with an outdoor entertaining space, and preferably located within walking distance of a park or the river, as I love going for walks and picnics. My lease at my current place ends early February 2019, but I am happy to break lease if I find something perfect before then.
I work full time in marine biology and in my free time/ weekends, I spend it outdoors or testing new recipes in the kitchen. During long holidays you can find me scuba diving, rock climbing, swimming or finding a mountain to hike up. I love meaningful conversations, occasionally enjoy my quiet time after work and am happy to have the occasional dinner together. I am also pet friendly and usually head to the morning markets on weekends for good food, music, and seeing some furry friends.
Hey, I'm a full-time university student at the University of Sydney. I'm on my way back from an exchange semester at the University of Edinburgh, since semester finished I've been backpacking Europe and on a study program in Thailand. When I finally get back to Australia, semester 1 of uni starts shortly after, and I start working at my old job at Macquarie University immediately, so I need a place to stay. None of my location preferences are anywhere close to North Ryde, but I own a car to get me to-and-from work, and I've always put my lifestyle before my job. These are places that I know are close to university and the CBD, so I am not lacking of activities to do during my time off. Shoot me a message if you've got a free room or want to start a flatmates group to search for a room together. Thanks :)
Originally from Wales, UK. Moved to Oz over 5 years ago. Moving interstate from Dubbo NSW to the Brisbane area. I will have little furniture so would be nice to find something furnished, however i can organise my own bed and furnishings if needs be. Unfortunately i won't be walking in to a job when i move, so it's a little tricky to get work until i am actually living in the area, HOWEVER please do not let this put you off as I will be able to support myself and to pay the rent until i do get employment. I have 1 female desexed Husky called Xena. She is very friendly with people but takes a while to warm to other dogs. I rescued her from a shelter so i am not sure of her history. She is house trained. I can have a good time when the mood suits, but i also respect everyone's privacy and hope you would do the same. I am social and enjoy hanging out with other like minded people. I can be spontaneous! Would be great to have a good group in a house where we can grow to be mates instead of just sharing a home. The odd adventure away together or night out etc.
Hey I'm Mike, I work part time as a project coordinator for an electrical contracting firm in Albion whilst I study HR and Secondary Education at QUT. I'm a pretty social person and do enjoy the occasional shared drink with friends but also appreciate my own space and like to keep a clean living environment. I love getting out into the community and exploring in my spare time. I'm pretty into photography, music, road trips and a bit of scuba diving.
I am a registered nurse who equally enjoys staying active and a wine or two on the weekend. My sister and I are on the hunt for one or two liikeminded housemates to rent with preferably from late Feb/March onwards... Looking for roommates who are fun and social but also respect my busy shift work lifestyle, no house party's happening here, sorry!!
Hi, I'm Harrison! I'm a doctor working part-time at PA Hospital while also working on my epidemiology master's degree at UQ. Most of my time while at home will be spent studying privately and quietly, cooking, or playing around on the internet. Easygoing, considerate, also happy to join in on shared activities/outings. Looking for a room in a sharehouse with like-minded people. I have lived with others and travelled a lot. Ideally, I'd be within 10 minutes walking or a 15 minutes by bus/train to the PA. Air conditioning is a must! I already have a bed and desk chair (but no desk), so I'm flexible with furnishings. I have a fridge and a large wooden dresser in storage, which I could contribute.
I’m 22, queer and vegan. I love art, animals, shopping, food, philosophy, nature and video games. I'm looking for a team up or room in a preferably modern home that is vegetarian/vegan based, LGBT+ friendly and close to the city! I'm friendly, tidy, and quiet. Thank you!
Hey guys, I'm looking for an unfurnished room to rent close to UQ. I'm easy going and laid back and respect the need for space. Also open to socialising and relaxing when need be. I'm vegetarian, enjoy a few beers, reading, playing the guitar, and am a student.
I'm an MBA student and am looking to move to Brisbane by February. I have been staying on campus accommodation for the last 2 years and am very used to living in a shared accommodation. I'm very clean, friendly and easy to get along with. I'm looking for a clean, modern house with friendly housemates in a safe location.
Hi! I'm Sumieka, a 19 year old student studying childcare full time at tafe. I'm neat, quiet and keep to myself most of the time but I'm always keen for movie nights, game nights or anything that might take your fancy. I love animals but don't own any and I'm a non smoker however smoking doesn't bother me :) Im orginally from a small town in northern NSW. I'm looking for anything preferably $130 a week or $150 if bills are included, don't mind sharing with males or females and I'd prefer to live with people under 30, but it's not a deal breaker. I don't own a car so parking is not needed. :)
Im tidy, friendly and open minded. My family moved quite frequently due to my father's work so I've lived around the world so im pretty chill with almost everyone. Also studying engineering so you wont see much of me during exams! Love to gym and have a few drinks to relax.
