Hi, I'm Clare, 33 and I work full time with the government. I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a clean and spacious house. I have no problems paying bond and going on a lease, and have never paid a bill late. I'm very used to sharehouse living, previously studied and worked shifts so I'm respectful of other people's timetables and downtime. I also like to have a tidy house so it would be a welcome change to live with people who do their share of the housework. I usually do my own thing and am looking for flatmates who are more or less similar, but also up for a chat and a glass of wine at times. When i'm not at work I'm at the gym, reading, or catching up with friends. Unfortunately the owners of my current place want to renovate and sell so i have to move on, but I can leave anytime up until 12th December. Having friends over is great, but I'm definitely not looking for a loud house or anyone who uses drugs, and I would like to stay pretty close to the city. Pet, LGBTI, student and shift worker friendly :)
Hi, I'm interested in going into a new house with someone(s)/a couple. I'm an ICT professional who works in the city so would like a place close to a train line or a decent bus way. I am tidy, considerate and sociable. I also have a beautiful medium sized border collie x kelpie dog named Molly who is extremely well behaved but means that I require a decent backyard and places near by where we will exercise. I have already started applying for places and am looking for someone who would be interested in applying with me. I am looking for someone who is willing to pay a similar amount to myself (But if 2 people were involved then this would obviously bring everyone's rent down). i have only listed a couple of locations but ultimately anywhere within 30 mins of the city on public transport (door to door) works just fine.
Hey guys, originally from France I have been living in Brisbane for over 8 years now. I just sold my unit and have 30 days to find great flatmates to live with :) A bit about me: I work full time as a professional in the city. I am educated, clean, trustworthy and respectful of others' privacy. Whilst I enjoy socialising, I am generally quiet during the week as I focus on work, working-out and living a healthy positive life. I am into the beach and outdoors, travelling, meeting new people, formula 1 and reading. I am looking to move in with some like minded people who look after their home and are clean and respectful. Lastly a couple of important things, I would like a room with its own aircon and own bathroom and I need access to a locked garage please. I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Julien PS: I love dogs if that matters :)
Work- laser and skin therapist Study- B Science Interests- Dance, travel, socialising, philosophy, learning new things, science, health, speak intermediate Spanish, beach trips, netball, camping I hope my house mates are open minded people. I'm looking for a place that is furnished in the common areas. I'm also looking for a big bedroom. However, I don't care how old the place is or how old school the kitchen/bathroom is- big wide open spaces is my preference :) I'm not looking for team ups.
Clean. Friendly. I cook delicious food. Work full time so I'm only home mornings, evenings and weekends. Vegetarian. Enjoy TV shows, movies and books. Have a fairly new car so would prefer off street parking Love pets but don't have to have one of my own.
Hi! I'm a 19 year old female who works 2 jobs with full time hours, so very busy! I'm from Brisbane but leaving for the UK in March/April for a year so only looking for accomodation for the next 6 months. I am easy to live with; clean, tidy and respectful of other peoples space. I keep to myself mostly but enjoy a chat every now and then. I enjoy music and going to gigs sometimes but other than that my work (and sleeping because of work) definitely takes up most of my time! Looking to move as soon as possible. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hey guys, We are a couple looking for a new place to call home. Preferably a granny flat or a large bedroom with a ensuite, something fairly private. We are clean, tidy and easy going. If I'm not working on the weekends we like to either go on adventures, spend time with friends/family or just relax at home. We will occasionally enjoy a couple of drinks and a night out. I'm a student nurse and work part time in the CBD, my partner works as a full time apprentice toolmaker. We hope to find some like minded people and look forward to hearing from you. Tara & Travis
We're nice, respectable, clean after ourselves, know how to be social and also respect people's privacy. Julian has studied a Bachelor of Film and loves talking about films, television and other creative works. Madison is an ex ballet dancer currently studying Psychology at UQ.
I'm a scientist working at UQ full time. I'm looking or somewhere quiet and leafy . I am down sizing and would require storage space for my furniture. I have been living in a small 1 bedroom apartment so would need a little more space than one bedroom. Prefer accommodation without pets in the house. ( they're cut but they make me sneeze).
Hi there, I'm Nancy- full time student studying bachelor of Biomedical Science at QUT. I'm very happy to see your renting ads on flatmates. My boyfriend (Steve who is also full time student studying IT at QUT too) and I are looking for the room near our work place .We are doing part-time job at Cafe 63 on Racecourse Road near your house so it would be convenient for us. Moreover, we are also tidy, clean and easy-going people, sometimes we would have food at work and rarely cook at home. Finally it would be cute as you can consider and allow for us to rent that room. Thanks in advance.
We are both quite busy(UQ Students) but also enjoy having quality time (and a drink) with our housemates. We enjoy cooking and love sharing a meal with our housemates. We adore pets - we have an exotic fish tank. We have numerous hobbies, are easy to get along with and love making new friends. Looking for either one large room or two smaller rooms. I do prefer having parking available.
Hi, I'm working full time as a business analyst, clean and respectful, saving for buying a property at the moment, would love to find an alike person or persons to share a house with a fully fenced large yard. My puppy, although only 4 months old, is very smart, has been toilet trained, friendly to any human and dog or cat, calm and quiet, but always love a play with you.
Hello! My brother Josh (18) and I (22) are full time students at UQ. We are both clean, friendly, no fuss type of people who are looking for somewhere affordable and close to buses. We are both fairly quiet housemates who can keep to ourselves and won't be hosting parties every weekend, but are also looking for housemates we could be friends with. We are independent, adaptable and accepting people and will respect your personal space. I have all the basic, necessary furniture (except for your own bedroom) but are happy for you to bring some of your own. I also have a friendly cavoodle called Rudy, so I'm looking for a house that has a fully fenced backyard and housemates who love dogs. I have lived in share houses before so I know how to share and respect space. We aren't particularly outdoorsy-adventurous people but don't mind if you are. We both study in the humanities field, and are fluent in sarcasm. Feel free to ask any questions!
Hi, My name's Paige, I'm 23 years old and recently moved to Brisbane. I work full time, Monday - Friday doing IT in the city. During the week I like to keep pretty quiet with work, the gym and cooking. On weekends I like to go on adventures - camping, kayaking, mountain bike riding, skating or basically anything outdoors.. and wine, always wine. I have a 4 year old staffy x rescue pup named Malakai, he is an incredibly well trained and chilled dog that does not need much room. He spends his days sunbaking or following you around the house. I'm looking to rent a room in a share house, granny flat / studio or team up with others to get a place, preferably no more than 20 minutes from the city due to work and the gym. I am tidy, relaxed and looking to live with like-minded, gay friendly people who like dogs or even have your own!
Hey I’m Rachel. I was born and grew up in Brizzy but moved down to the Goldie for work and lived there for 6 years. I work full time as a high school teacher. I’m a really chilled person who’s happy to keep to myself or have a chat over wine and cheese/beer and chips occasionally 👍🏽 I like to keep my area neat and tidy. I work all day and like to come home to a clean environment. In my free time I like to read, bake, watch movies, surfing/ go to the beach and hang with family and friends. I have a Samoyed, but he will be staying with the family. I’m currently living in Highgate Hill. Unfortunately the contract is ending in December and needing to look for another place. I’m happy to stay in the Highgate Hill area. But would love to be near the beach too. Give me a bell if you think you’ve got a lovely place to share with me! Rach x
I am an international student doing my Masters at UQ. I am fun, yet organised. I am concientious, clean up after myself and keep tidy. I will be working long hours so will not be home too much during the day. I love cooking and am happy to do a 'I cook, you clean' arrangement. I get along well with most people. I am a morning person, and will be up by 6am most mornings to go running. I do usually have music going but always at a respectable level. I would prefer to live with just 1 other person, however I am willing to look at a 3 bedroom place. I need to have access to the train or 66 Bus route as I will be working at hospitals next year. I am looking for January ONLY.
I am a civil engineer in road construction and a casual Uber driver, and am usually, either, training, out photographing stuff, travelling or working. I am rather social, but I can also be quite elusive, depending on my work schedule. I am quite heavily-tattooed, I do not take drugs, am single and am open for a drink, every so often, but am far passed the heavy 'partying' scene. I'm looking for a diverse household, preferably a larger house with a deck and backyard, as I quite enjoy relaxing outside with a cup of coffee on my weekend mornings! I am looking for something furnished and close to the southern side of the river - I've got quite the nest egg around there, so the closer, the better! Also, if you've got animals, that's a huge plus for me. My current situation is temporary and am wanting to find something more permanent towards the end of early August. Feel free to message me - I'm usually quick to respond!
Hey, my name is Ben and I'm 22 years old. I'm studying at Griffith University undertaking a Bachelor of Economics. I'm looking for a clean, respectful household that I can rent a room in. I've lived in share houses throughout Melbourne for a few years and have some experience on that front. I'm quite tidy, and outgoing. I spend most of my time playing board games/card games with friends, training on my bike or working or studying. I'm a huge fan of anything video game related, so big props if we share interests. If you have anything available ASAP, please let me know. Thank you.
My partner and I are relocating and need a place to live short-term whilst we are househunting. We are both outgoing and friendly but also enjoy our own space and quiet time. We love exploring the outdoors and being active.
Hoping to move to Brisbane next year and would love to find some great people to live with. From a small country town but have been living in Canberra for last two years. I'm a friendly, outgoing, kind and relaxed person who doesn't like to take things too seriously. I love music, sport (AFL and basketball), food, travelling, dogs, fitness, and having a laugh with mates. I am also very respectful of other people's space and am happy to clean and keep things tidy.
