I'm an ambivert's dream: quiet and great at doing my own thing, but sociable and open for a chat when necessary. I'm respectful of shared space and expect everyone to enjoy this space (it is home after all), but leave it clean. If you think this is something that might be mutually beneficial, I am open to taking a look :)

I am a personable Canadian University student studying Electrical Engineering. I am doing an internship at the AIBN at UQ from September until December. I can get along with anyone, but can also keep to myself if preferred. I am clean and quiet. I enjoy adventures, board sports, music production, and learning about other cultures.
I like to keep a clean house. I like to chat every so often, but I am here for study and keep to myself during that time. Im very quiet, especially while studying. I like to keep a small footprint in the house. I have no problem chipping in for the house chores. First year med student so studying happens a lot. Ive never been late on rent and I intend to keep it that way.
I'm a very easy going and reliable person to live with. I'm looking to live with people who respect each others space are social, but not a party house. I am currently studying primary education at UQ and work part time at IGA. I have a variety of interests including movies and books, and love going to gigs whenever possible.
My boyfriend and I are looking for a place to live (minimum 3 months with option to extend). Ideally we'd like a good sized double room with ensuite or our own bathroom in a non-smoking environment (though outside would be ok). He's studying and working part-time. I'm doing some freelance at the moment and looking for a full-time position. We both LOVE animals (so would be happy to share with furry friends, or maybe adopt a cat ourselves). We're both in our mid 30s. Quiet, tidy, respectful and we love cooking (and we clean up afterwards). Location wise we're flexible. We'd love somewhere in the south/south-west part of town with good public transport links and preferably not too far from the city.
Starting my masters in environmental management and I'm also working part time as a barista. Love my music and basketball. I'm really good at doing my dishes and helping around the house and I'm always down for chats and hang outs. Hope to hear from you! Paddy
Hey I'm Lorrin. I just moved to Brisbane to work and I'm starting university at UQ in September. I have a temporary place at the moment so I'm looking for a more stable address. I'm pretty easy-going and a little awkward, I keep to myself but I'm sociable and get along with pretty much anybody. I can take care of myself; cleaning, washing, household duties. I am respectful and appreciate respect in return. I'm down with fun and games and can have a good time but also respect people's privacy and personal space. I can afford 150-170$/week. I'm super keen to live in Brisbane permanently and hope I can find some good people to get to know.
I am 25, a full time shift worker, non smoker, clean, tidy, easy going. I have 2 dogs that are inside/outside dogs. Both small dogs and trained and friendly. I am always out and about either going to the gym or catching up with friends.
I am a third PhD student, as well as working part time. I work long hours and am quiet when I am home as this is my relax time. I occassionally like friends to visit. My boyfriend would also stay occassional nights. Pet friendly.
Hi, I’m a 18 year old student, studying at Yeronga State High School. I have lived share house in Tennyson, but I have to find another place. Because the owner’s family will move in this house. I would like to find a nice place for at least 6 months, even more, so not to move around all the time. It would be great to find a private furnished room in shared house. For my free time, I'm mainly focusing on my studies, and going to the gym. I value cleanliness and consideration above all else.
My name is Jayden Creighton. I am a twenty-four year old male, who works in South Brisbane. I have a permanent part-time position at Aldi in Carindale, and am an aspiring filmmaker / freelance videographer. My hours vary a little week to week, but they generally range from between 20 to 36, which accomodate my filming endeavours. Because of my career ambitions, I tend to keep a pretty low profile, and am often held up in my room writing, editing or watching films for inspiration. However, despite being quiet, I am also laid-back, friendly and very open to a chat! I like to catch up with friends when I get down time, however most are located in my hometown in Northern NSW, so I do spend time away from QLD. I am clean, a non-smoker, and have no pets. I pay rent and utilities promptly, and respect people’s property and space.
Hi, I'm a international student from Perú, now I'm learning English at UQ and I hope to start a Masters degree next year. I'm geologist, I like to play sports in special Football and basketball, I'm a easy going person, very responsable, clean and tidy.
Im in my late 30s, studying at the QCA, and working as a life drawing model and in hospitality. Generally pretty busy. Try to get a bit of yoga or walking in regularly, keep abreast of global politics and social justice, & enjoy a good discussion over coffee/beer/wine! My 8 year old son stays with me two nights per week. He's a chilled out kid with good manners, into gaming, lego etc. Im looking for a quiet place with room enough for me to set up an art/study space.
We are a down to earth couple looking for accommodation around September this year once our lease is up! Sam and I love a good chinwag and are originally kiwis who have been on the Sunshine Coast for the past few years. Iesha: currently at griffith uni & working two jobs Sam: bar supervisor in brisbane cbd The two of us are laid back and if you’ve got a decent Spotify playlist or can appreciate almost all genres we are bound to get along. We recently got two ragdoll x kittens that are very affectionate and will be moving with us, wherever we go! If Sam and I aren’t spending time with the cats then we’ll be eating out somewhere in the city. Ideally, we are looking to move into a place with someone/people that are willing to socialise with us and not hide away in their room 24/7, but we understand and respect personal space. Additionally, we expect our home to reflect our personalities so a tidy house (where everyone helps out) is a must. Overall, we’re just two peas in a pod that are low maintenance, easy going and looking for a decent set of housemates to live and do fun stuff with. Shoot us a message if we sound like possible additions to your family or if you have any other questions! We look forward to hearing from anyone who managed to get to the end of this very long ad lol
Hey, my name is Maya. I'm 22 years old and am in my forth year of a Marketing/Journalism degree at UQ. I am a clean person who will always contribute to household duties. I enjoy cooking (so socialising over dinners would be great!), a bit of reading, and live a fairly active lifestyle. I'm originally from the Sunny Coast so I try go up there when I'm not busy with uni and work. I work at the Lorna Jane head office in Eagle Farm. I am looking to live with people who are fun and enjoyable to be around. People who don't mind having a laugh. I will also give you your own personal space - because I know that I'll sometimes want that in return. If you want any other info please message me! If you think I would suit the dynamic of your house I would love to meet you and check the place out. Thanks :) Maya.
Hey guys! First thing first you need to be a woofer person. I have two pups who are super friendly and well trained. I'm an easy going, laid back lady with a full time job as events manager in south bank. I like to chill out and meet new people. I am always down for a beverage and would love a place where we can hang out with a few drinks or go on a massive Netflix binge. I am also conscious of others who want some space and alone time. I would love to find flatmates who share similar ideas! Looking for a place in September, ideally with a big backyard and nice deck to chill on in the summer. Would love to team up and find a cracker place together and make a nice little home ☺️ 🐶🐶
-Professional female -Works Full time -Neat, tidy -Quiet and I will treat your home as if its my home I'm looking for a granny flat, studio apartment or one bedroom apartment, not interested in shared houses and would prefer my own place.
I am a 28-yo full-time PhD student at UQ and I AM STILL LOOKING FOR A ROOM!:) I am very easy-going, like to keep my place clean and neat, especially bathroom and kitchen. I don't mind to have a nice dinner and chat, but also respect privacy. Since I am entering my last year of PhD candidature, I will be very busy at the uni. I need a peacful place to come back after a full-on day and just relax. I spend my weekends very differently: sometimes I can just chill at home if I had a difficult week, but usually prefer to be more outdoor. I am trying to maintain pretty healthy lifestyle. I love running, practising yoga, doing some gym as well, and cycling to the Uni and back every weekday. I am not a smoker, but in general I can live with people who are, but not smoking indoor of course. I am looking for an unfurnished room in a shared house. It should be within the budget I specified. Shoot me a message, if there is a room in your shared house available! And we will dance from that:) Cheers!
