My name's Tim and I'm a 29 year old civil engineer working in the water industry, living in Brisbane but from Coffs Harbour originally. Laid back and easy going, but like to keep the house clean. Live a pretty active lifestyle so I'm not home too often, but when I am, I'm a social kind of guy and always keen to hang out. Looking to move into a room with an ensuite, upto $250 per week. If you're looking to team up or I might be the person you're after to rent out a room, please get in touch! Cheers, Tim
I'm currently looking for a place a bit closer to Brisbane. I'm currently working part time. I am quite and I like to keep things neat and tidy but I'm always up for a chat.
Hi, I'm Kyle! I'm looking for a place to call home for the next several months or so. I'm working full time until I start Uni (hopefully) in February. I've got a stable budget and I keep everything fairly clean. I like typical guy stuff, playing games and hanging out with cool people. Are you a cool people? We should totally hang out.
G'day! I'm a friendly housemate, with a few years of sharing experience, looking for a new share family. I'd love to find somewhere where we can have a nice balance of hanging out together, sometimes sharing a meal or a drink, as well as giving some space where necessary. I'm generally fairly quiet through the week, and like to catch gigs / go out or go adventuring on weekends. I'm low maintenance, my biggest priority is that everyone is pleasant, honest and tidy. Off-street parking is also something I'll need, to keep my motorcycle safe. My move date can be somewhat flexible. Shoot me a message and we can have a chat!
My name is Jack, and I'm a 24yo technical consultant and 4th year electrical engineering student. I am quiet, wordy, well-read and have had experience sharing a home with people for the last 5 years (2 houses). I currently live with two girls and two guys, and they'd be happy to vouch for what a good housemate I've been. My main reason for the move is to live somewhere a bit quieter than I currently live, but with good access to the city.
I work full time in the medical field, am of mature age yet young in outlook and at heart. I enjoy my own space & will respect yours. I like being in a clean & generally tidy environment. I enjoy indulging in good food and the baking of it, I always go away on holidays about 3 times a year either overseas or intrastate, I am an independent person & would want you to be as well. On weekends I love going to the markets, long brunches as well as catching a movie. I love both dogs & cats but don't have any. I would like my own bathroom.
We are four grad student studying occupational therapy at UQ! Looking for a place with easy transport to the uni, shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. for our final semester. Super friendly bunch, easy to get along with, and tidy. Anyone who is looking for tenants to take a 4-bedroom place please let me know! :)
I work full-time as a creative professional in an Advertising agency. I like to have fun, be active, socialise and enjoy a few laughs. I'm respectful of other's privacy but do also enjoy the company of others. I enjoy doing creative activities and am open to new and exciting experiences. I also like to be neat and tidy.
Hi, I am Mat - a tidy medical student from Germany in my final year. After having passed the final exames recently, I've got the great chance to do internships in training hospitals in Brisbane as a Trainee Intern. In my spare time I go swimming and taking photos, with focus on people and events. I do enjoy travelling, getting to know new people and cultures. I am always open for a shorter or longer chat =) I am living in a shared house in Germany for five years now. Thus, I am used to share my bathroom with other mates. I do enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, the young community and would be pleased to experience this while my stay in Brisbane, too. If you like what you read and you have a room to offer, I am looking forward to hearing from you and visiting your room for rent, soon! I am looking for a room here: July - September: area around Greenslopes
I am an easy going person, I like to have a chat! I don't mind sharing meals if we are both home. I enjoy my down time but always up for a chat. I'm a tidy person, but new to sharing. I don't mind a social drink. I love new adventures and catching up with friends and family. Won't say no to a Sunday marathon on the couch watching a good tv show if there is bad weather!! I also have a dog!! If I could bring her that would be awesome!!:)
We are looking for a room to rent for 6 months. We are both easygoing, clean and tidy, generally keep to ourselves but always up for a chat. We are not looking for a party house as we are both super busy with work and study. Nicolle - works as an assistant nurse for qld health, studies registered nursing (finishing at the end of the year) Julio- works as a removalist We do not wish to pay more than $280/week all inclusive. Cheers!
Note- I am not looking to move until Saturday the 1st of July. I am an environmental professional moving to Brisbane from Adelaide to work with a large mining company. I will be predominantly 9-5pm working in the city centre although, will also be required to work away from time to time. My initial contract is for two years, so if the flat share thing works out, I'm happy to continue for that time. I do not know many people in Brisbane so I figured accommodation sharing might be a good way to meet some people. I enjoy a chat and a few beers/wines, but I also enjoy my own space and downtime. I am clean and tidy, and extremely respectful of other peoples personal space. Also Keen to join a gym nearby, if you know of any? Ideally I will share with only one other person and have a private bathroom. However if the house is large and we aren't all cramped in, and there is at least two bathrooms, I will consider living with more than one person. I will also have some of my own furniture, so can either add this to the household or store it. All good either way.
I am a working professional moving to Brisbane at the end of May to work in Eight Mile Plains. As a mature, professional, I only wish to share with one other person in a two or three bedroom property. I would like off street parking and access to my own bathroom. If you are not offering this, please do not contact me. I travel a lot for work and work long hours, so like to chill when I am at home. I love to chat and socialise over a drink, and even cook and share the occasional meal. I am looking to share with some one who is easy going, mature and wiling to clean up after themselves.
I'm a registered nurse looking for a place for myself and my ginger cat! I love cooking and travelling. Looking for relatively tidy and chilled out housemate/s to have the occasional beer or watch some quality netflix with 😊
Hey! Here's a little bit about Shaye and I: - We are both first year female students studying Business (Marketing and Economics) at QUT Gardens Point - We are tidy, we are quiet and just generally very easy to get along with - We both have access to furniture for our spaces - Shaye would need a place to store her little car (Connie the Corolla) - We are on the lookout for a place to move into around July/August - We both love food, fashion and music - Would love to get to know some new people as we both moved from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane this year! Thanks, Andie and Shaye :)
We both are form South America. Recently married. So we are in the most wonderful days of our relationship. We are looking for place to live and also near our schools or place of work. It has to be $275 or less per week for the both of us (including bills). We have our own furniture for the room if needed, otherwise we can sell our stuff. We wouldn't like to share a bathroom, please no share bathroom places. We both work in food delivery and some other jobs (cleaning, couching). I am studying my undergraduate Biotechnology (Honours) at UQ St. Lucia. I am a full scholarship grantee from the Government of my country. Foreseen to graduate in December 2018. Now, my wife studies English at Langports near Brisbane city. She would culminate her English course in January. Then She would like to get a Management certificate. We are the most adorable couple in the world. We are known to be tidy and easy to live with. We are in a mature minded marriage, respectful, kind and overall supportive. We are not planning to stay in Australia after we finish our studies. the reason is simple, I have to come back to return the scholarship I was granted by my country. In other words, we are looking for place to call home until the duty call us in our country. Also, something crucial about what we want, it is to be considered as independent couple and have our privacy above anything. Hope you could grasp a little of what we are as couple. We do not bring any surprises as we are always sincere and honest of anything you may want to know. Again if you are considering to have us as guests in your home, we will always appreciate that gesture and we won't disappoint. Cheers.
Hi there :D I'm Nancy and I looking for a room for couple, me and my boyfriend. We are both student and have been struggled to find house for a while :'( Beside, there are not much stuffs, so we are pretty clean and tidy. We are also hard-working people and we always focus on studying I am expecting to stay in Australia for the next 2 year so we are hoping to find a stable place to live. I hope you can consider and understand our sittuation.
Hi All, This is going to be a long one so bear with me. I’m looking at moving to Brisbane come August, which I know is a little while away but I’d like to be confident I’d have a place to live before it gets too close. I have a 3 year old male German shepherd (desexed, micro chipped, all vacc’s up to date etc) whose super over the top friendly to everyone and every animal he meets. (Insert worst guard dog ever) He is toilet trained, obedient, only barks at strangers passing by & the postman (cliché’ right?) He’s been raised half inside and half outside alongside a cat, so he is cat friendly, however I would primarily like him to be outside only (except during storms, thunder buddies for life) He absolutely LOVES other dogs; in fact living with someone who also has a medium/large dog (friendly of course) would be great for him as he would have some company during the day. Smaller dogs aren’t so good simply because of his size. A large yard is not a necessity because he gets daily walks, and he sleeps for the better part of the day anyways so a small but fully fenced yard is suitable. About myself, I’m a 24 year old female, have no kids that I know of (Sometimes I’m funny), have been working in Office Management for the past 6 years. I bought my first home by myself when I was 20. And for the last 3 and half years I have been a DIY queen renovating my little abode. It’s now almost ready for a new family to temporarily take over so I can start my new chapter. I’m always up for social drinks and nibbles but can just as easily hibernate for days on end binge watching trashy TV. I cook, clean, mow, hell I’ve even painted an entire home interior twice. (Poor colour choice the first time, don’t ask) My point being, I understand the importance of house maintenance, so I’m very respectable in looking after another’s property. I’m well known for my sarcasm and quick/witty sense of humour, never a dull moment with me. I’m looking at a share house with other like minded females around the same age who are interested in a friendship, not just living with another stranger. Plus I don’t know anyone in Brisbane, so it would be swell to have some gal pals to show me the ropes of this wonderful city. Ideally would love to live within 20mins max of the CBD, I’m not fussed on which areas specifically just as long as it’s relatively close to the city. I’ll start my job hunt when I know for sure where I’ll be based. With that being said, whilst it’s likely I won’t have employment before I move, I will have a rental income from my property plus 6 months’ worth of savings prepared so rest assured paying rent will be no problem whatsoever. A furnished room would be ideal as I’m selling all of my own furniture and belongings; however this is not a necessity and I can get myself a set up if need be. And lastly (thank god I know) because I am a good 700km away, travelling to do an inspection is not really an option as I’d like to keep as much money aside for my impending unemployment. So if it’s suitable to do video chats/walk throughs of the property, just anything you can give me so I have an idea of the house would be really appreciated. But in all honesty, as long as there’s a room and a fenced yard for my sidekick and you aren’t a serial killer, that’s all that matters. Well if you stuck around to read all of that, I hope it was worth it and I’m the roomie you’ve been searching for. If you know you will have a room available, or one coming up in the near future, or even if you want to team up for a house in the coming months, just flick me a message and let me know. Just no calls during the day please as I do work full time. Thanks for your time (:
