$300/week•39 year old man
Hi I'm Luke. I'm looking for a room in either Brisbane, Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast. I'm a 39 year old single heterosexual Australian. Happy to live alone or with couples, men or women, younger or older.
I do want to share with a person or people who are consistent with good cleanliness and hygiene. I'd kind of like to do a 1 month trial to see if we get along before locking in longer term rental agreements.
I had a work injury last year that stopped me from playing tennis, squash, golf and going bodyboarding but they are some things I have intentions of getting back into.
I'm easy going, respectful, keep my space and common areas tidy, am fairly social but also like quiet time for study, gaming or Netflix. My budget is about $300/week.
I have been studying Cybersecurity at Southbank TAFE this year but I am about to change direction and hopefully I will get into a start-up accelerator for one or 2 of my tech start-ups.
My day job varies but I have HR truck & LF forklift licences, EWP under 11m, work at heights, 1st aid and other tickets so I do labour hire, trade assistant, and also event setup/take down. I'm considering a move to FIFO mine work to do 2 weeks on 2 weeks travelling or working on my startups.
I do a bit of virtual reality video recording of live music, art and nature. I also do web design and have studied game design a few years ago. I love emerging technology and virtual reality systems/games/education.
I often go out to networking events in the technology start-up scene such as cryptocurrency, robotics, space industry, smart cities and artificial intelligence. This usually involves learning about something interesting, meeting cool people and getting a free feed and/or a few drinks.
Happy to socialise. I cook well and know a lot of different recipes. I enjoy wine o'clock or a night out for some live tunes but I'm not a regular party animal. I have a few relatives who live on North Stradbroke Island so I go over there reasonably often, especially as my gran is in her 90's now.
I drive a Mitsubishi Grandis 7 seater van which doesn't really need a garage but I do need somewhere to park. If you have any questions, just ask.
