WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR

I'm open to two options:

OPTION 1: JOINING AN EXISTING SHARE HOUSE

A house to share with one other person. Undercover parking or a lock-up garage for my car is a must. Close to a train station on the south side. A bedroom big enough for a bed and a small desk, or a separate room for an office setup, works well for me, I work from home and just need a level floor and enough room for a simple office corner.

OPTION 2: TEAM UP TO RENT A PLACE TOGETHER

I'm also keen to team up with one other person to rent a larger, higher quality property in a good south side location, ideally with an extra bedroom or two so we each have space for a home office or personal storage. For a team-up, I'd want us both on the lease together, with rent and bills (electricity, water, internet) split fairly between us, rather than one person managing everything and charging the other a fixed fee, though I'm open to discussing a different approach if you have one in mind. My budget of up to $500/wk is for the right property to share, not a single room. It'll be my home, and I want it to feel like home for you too. Once we're both happy we're a good match, I'd love to get straight into searching for a place together and move in as soon as we find the right one.

ABOUT ME

I'm a full-time professional working from home. I've lived in share houses before and know what makes for a good living arrangement. I'm quiet, clean, considerate, and friendly. I enjoy a chat every now and then and don't mind socialising, but I also value my privacy and quiet time. I'd describe myself as mature, responsible, cooperative, and communicative, and I'd love to find someone similar. Outside of work, I enjoy catching up with friends, good conversation, a good comedy, and learning new things, including topics like physical and mental health, medicine, and science. I also love making coffee in the morning. I get along best with people who are kind, communicate clearly, and respect boundaries, mine included. I share housework responsibilities. Rent will always be paid on time, no exceptions.

I don't party at home, I see it as a safe, private space for both of us, and I treat it that way. I'm security-conscious and keep the house locked up when I head out. I value a home where we both respect each other's personal space, needs, and belongings.

I'm looking for a peaceful home. Quiet time in the evenings and mornings is important to me. If you're also friendly, considerate, and tidy, and we keep similar hours, I think we'd get along well.
