I am quite, tidy, respectful, have a sense of humour and enjoy good conversation. I enjoy music, books and cinema; everything from the latest Marvel blockbuster to indie arthouse. I am a bit of a nerd so comics and sci-fi are my thing but I'm also interested in a few sports. I take everyone as I find them and don't care your race, sexual orientation etc., it's all fine by me. I am 49-years-old and on a disability pension (advanced osteoporosis). I’m mobile but one set of stairs is my limit. If you live in a unit above the second story I’m not your guy. I require an unfurnished room as I come with a bed, desk etc.. I also have quite a few tools so somewhere with under house storage would be preferable. I am not a smoker but I do vape, which is my only vice. I currently live in an all male household but would prefer a mixed one or one where the men living there understand how to keep a tidy home. Finally I have a five-year-old Labrador X who is happiest playing fetch, receiving pats or curled up at your feet.
Hi, my name is Georgia and I am a 22 year old Education Student at Griffith University. I am studying to be a full time high school teacher with 18 months left until graduation. I would like to find a place close to the university that I can call home until I finish my degree. I currently work part time in the city, and am on placement twice in the next six months, I also tutor on the side. I have a partner who I would like to be able to stay some nights during the week, and other times I will stay with him. In my spare time, I like to go and visit friends, go to the beach, find really great coffee, and go hiking. I am not much of a party person.
I'm a young professional (Mid-20's) working in the sports industry. It'd be great to find housemates to enjoy downtime with and try new activities. I'd get along best with young, active and health conscious housemates around the same age. In my downtime I enjoy: - Cooking and trying new foods - Going to the gym, Bodyboarding, Ukulele and singing badly - Board Games, Reading, Winding down in front of a view or nature - Watching/playing sports Also: - Pet friendly - During my work season I'm fairly busy and frequently away on weekends - I highly value honesty and reliability and would expect the same from potential roommates
Hi, I'm French, 28, currently doing a PhD in biology between UQ and Griffith uni for the next three years. I am looking for a studio/self contained unit or a room with ensuite for 230$ max per week all bills included. I want to feel home in an independent nice and quiet cosy place, with an outdoor living area to not feel enclosed. Pet friendly would be a great bonus, I miss animals so much ! The room has to be big enough to fit my king size bed if unfurnished. Cheers :)
Hi, I am a 19 yo student, doing a double degree in Business and International Business at Griffith University in July. I am super easy to get along with, but pretty quiet and generally keep to myself. I'm tidy and respectful, and love keeping my place clean and organised. I love dogs, so if you have dogs that's a bonus for me :) I'm currently working part-time as well, and looking for another job.
Looking for a quiet, stress free place where I can live my life without any hassles. A place close to shopping centres, buses, train stations etc. Prefer suburbs such as Sunnybank or Sunnybank Hills which are close to buses 123, 130, 140, 598 and close to Altandi or Sunnybank Train Stations. I have my own bedroom furniture so a large sized room to suit a double bed, my computer tables, mini fridge & freezer would be ideal. If built ins cupboards are available with built in shelf space that would also be a big help. If not I have my own cupboard. Ceiling fans or air con would also be nice, but not essential. I will be honest to say that I am on the pension at the moment due to some health issues I am dealing with, but I'm paying $160 per week which INCLUDES ALL UTILITIES, where I am currently living in Sunnybank and my rent has always been paid earlier than the due time. My budget also allows me to pay up to $160 per week in rent without any problems. (PLEASE ONLY MESSAGE ME IF YOU OFFER AN ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE OF RENT AND BILLS COMBINED) When working, I work from home as a Freelance Multimedia Producer (have also worked in the Radio Industry) and I have a few projects I'm currently involved in, so finding a place with high speed internet, as part of the utilities included in the weekly rent would also be preferable. I am a very tidy person and I take pride in keeping the house and especially the kitchen very tidy and clean indeed! I can't stand a messy kitchen! I am trying to quit smoking, so am happy to smoke outside. I am also, not a big drinker, so you won't ever find me drunk! I am an honest, friendly, respectful and quiet bloke who mostly keeps to himself. I am happy to pitch in and help with yard mowing duties or other chores if required and am always willing to help my flatmates with things if they need it. I am looking for a long term place like 1-2+ years. Cheers!
Hello There, I'm Chan, new to Australia. Looking for a studio/room to share. I'm currently working as draftsman near Salisbury Metro Station.. Since I'm new here, I don't have any car yet so as much as possible, a place near the metro is preferred. Feel free to message me. Thanks!
I am about to start my Bachelor of Laws at Griffith University and my boyfriend is at the end of his first year of a Bachelor of Biomedical science. We are both quiet, easy to talk to and clean. We are non-smokers and non-partiers.
Hi! I am coming to Brisbane this September to start a research placement at Griffith University. I'm 21 from the UK looking for a house with some like minded flatmates. I'm a chilled, active person who loves travelling and experiencing new things. I'm up for nights outs but also chilling at home. I'm a tidy and considerate person too :). Feel free to get in contact with any questions! Cheers Beth
Hi, we're a couple looking for a room while we study in Brisbane. We are looking for one room together. From the U.K and Taiwan Looking for a nice relaxed house which is clean and has a good atmosphere to it
As a person, I would think of myself as quiet and peaceful, very caring and respectful of others, polite, well-mannered and considerate. Full-time, long-term employment. Part-time university student (external - online)
**No longer looking at the moment as I have found a place. Thanks for looking anyway :) ** My name is Stacey, a 24-year-old female that works at the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. I am a quiet, friendly, non-smoker nor much of a party animal. I do like to keep to myself but easy going to chat with. On my days off I do enjoy going to the movies, shops etc. I do also enjoy photography. Hope to get back into fitness so one that is nearby would be a great advantage. I do love animals. I don't own any but would be happy to get along with a furry friend. Preferably a house with females only and around my age range. Own ensuite but not essential. *Update* also looking for private studio for single person only. Stacey
Hi! Im Odin and I'm a fulltime student and work a part time job. Pretty easy going guy loves to chat and hang out but generally have my hands pretty full between study and work. I like to keep things pretty clean so thats a bonus!
Hi, I'm an easy-going, neat and clean guy. I don't smoke but do occasionally drink. Recently graduated from USQ, Toowoomba. Love music, meeting new people and traveling. I'm pretty flexible and assure you that you wouldn't regret sharing the space with me. I totally understand and respect individual privacy and believes in mutual admiration. Excited about moving down to Brisbane and explore the city, people and its culture.
Looking for all-female house/flat (with no boyfriend-sleepovers) close to good public transport, quiet and safe area and house, considerate and responsible housemates who are friendly but give personal space, and no cats (if possible) or dogs. Fish and chickens are okay! : ) Prefer similar age-range/ 28-45. I've received a lot of messages that don't actually fit any of that, so please respond only if you/your place actually meet these things - not guys, sorry, and please within this price range! I'm responsible, mature, clean and considerate, and want housemates who also have these habits. Outside space for gardening is great, but not essential, and somewhere to store my things - read, lots of boxes! (garage space, under-the-house, shed, or part of a spare room). I'll also consider suburbs near those I've listed, except not further south than Eight Mile Plains.
Hellloooo, I am a very social, fun and friendly guy who loves music and thrives off peoples morale and kindness. I very much appreciate my quite space when needed so Netflix chills from time to time with the housemates is welcomed. I'm fairly laidback but responsible when it comes to bills/commitments and very considerate of peoples personal space. I am a terrible cook, so you'll most likely find me eating out or sticking to anything that doesn't require more than 3 steps to make lol. In my spare time I'm an avid T.V series binger, social drinker at bars and like to catch up with mates. I work full time managing a store in Indooroopilly Sun-Thurs where my hours can be quite extreme. You'll most likely only see me in the late evenings, so I tend to keep a low-profile throughout the week and enjoy coming home to a relaxing space. I am highly respectful and have high regards for cleanliness and organisation! I also work at LUSH, so I bring many bath time goodies!!
I'm easy to get along with and willing to help out around the house. I am clean and tidy, Clean up my mess and I am quiet. Need a place to stay until my partner and I find a place for ourselfs to live in before she flys up. I'm moving up to Brisbane from Tasmania, I have my flights booked, I just got a full-time job in Moorooka and I start on the 24th of Sep. I need to find a place to start staying from the 23rd of September. Could be staying from 2-4 months max. Thanks Mason!
Hi! I am a quiet but sociable, nature loving, book reading, tea drinking, design student. I like dark British comedy, murder mysteries with a plot, and easy going people. I can cook, and tidy and clean a bathroom, but I hate to take bins out. (Better with dishes) - Looking for chill friendly, maybe arty people :) and a $210pw max room, bills included if I can find it, and the bigger the better as I am a designer + artist and need space, with some window light for my indoor plants and the art :D Looking for a longer term stay somewhere fairly central and more south. Let me know if you think I should be looking at your add! Cheers, Holly
Hey I'm Nat! I'm 25 years old, from Melbourne and am going to be in Brisbane between early November and late April playing football. I'm very laid back, clean and tidy, like a chat but also keep to myself a lot. I won't be up late partying or anything like that - training will be six days per week so that will take up most of my afternoons and weekends, and I will be travelling some weekends for games. I'm looking for a place that is happy to have my dog come along as well so would need a backyard and air conditioning in the house. Hugo's a mini groodle and an inside/outside dog, loves people and other dogs. Shoot me a message if this sounds good to you!
Hi, I'm a 26 year old professional looking to move closer to my work on the South side of Brisbane. Generally pretty quiet and will leave you in peace most of the time, but also up for the occasional friendly chat or meal together.
I’m outgoing can be social but also love downtime especially after a longs day work, I do smoke (outside only) not much of a drinker but if was would be else where, I do work Monday to Friday 8-4! I’m respectful to others privacy but do enjoy having a yarn. Absolutely love animals. I’m also a clean person so you wouldn’t have to worry about a mess anywhere 😊
Hi! We're Aaron and Harper! 24 year old male and a 2 year old female desexed, registered, trained black Labrador. I have a house full of furniture (lounges, washing machine, dryer, tv etc) but can get rid of everything if necessary. We're looking for a sharehouse. North or Southside it doesn't matter as long as its pet friendly with some grass in the backyard for Harper as she likes lazying around in the sun! Would prefer an unfurnished room but beggars can't be choosers. Harper is a loveable dog, being a Labrador she loves getting out and being active, but will also enjoy a long cuddle when the mood sets. When I’m not working, you can find me probably Coast at a local beach, or exploring new places around Brisbane, anything social and fun really, oh and tagging along is perfectly fine too, especially if you've got a dog as Harper just loves other dogs/animals. Wouldn’t mind a sharehouse with like minded flat mates where possible friendships can be formed - as who wouldn't want to be friends with the people they live with! Also interested in teaming up and starting a new sharehouse too! Looking at a move date around mid October, references available! Can pay 4 weeks bond and 2 weeks rent in advance and provide proof of savings etc etc if required. Just shoot through a PM if you know of anything, TIA appreciate it 😊
Studying Nutritional science and changing into nursing and paramedic science next year. I work part-time at Queensland rail travel in the catering unit as a catering support coordinator handling all the nutritional needs, food safety and logistics for the catering and food production side of the travel trains. I am social and hardly ever home as my life is stupidly busy, I sometimes travel for work on my uni holidays in Queensland. I love rock climbing and hiking I hardly drink but do love to go out with friends and socialise I am a quiet housemate and find myself studying a lot. I play soccer and netball socially and do love to play basketball (another tall person playing basketball)
Hi, I'm Karina :) I work full time at the rspca (monday to friday). I'm very tidy and respectful of everyone's space. I have a happy rescue dog Willow who can be unsure of new people at first but once she is comfortable with you she is extremely social! I'm wanting to live with people that would be happy to have her around as a part of the family :). She stays outside when no one is home but is used to being allowed in doors to relax when people are around / sleeps inside with me. I'm either at the beach surfing, adventuring with my dog / friends or relaxing at home. As i do work 8+ hours a day I am looking for a home that has grass/ a yard for willow to relax in. I also go away on weekends sometimes for trips in my van and would take Willow with me. I'm friendly and easy going, always up for a laugh and a wine/beer. I'm not the greatest cook but am definitely trying to learn :) I need full fencing for willow but she is friendly with other dogs so doesn't need to be on her own. Thanks!
Hi I’m Heather I’m 22 I currently work as a EWP designer full time and have been with the same company for the past 4 years. I’m super chill and easy going and clean up after myself in my free time I enjoy shopping, traveling and having a beer and remembering to go to the gym when I can. Looking for a laid back place! :)
Its definitely worthwhile to mention my impressive capacity for tea drinking and being a bottomless pit where pizza is concerned. That said, I am employed full time, and I studying part time. Pretty easy going and I like a good laugh; I am clean but not aggressive about being spotless. I enjoy a good chat but usually am pretty independent. I am looking for somewhere to stop for at least the next twelve or so months. As a late twenties something, approaching 45 years of emotional age, I'm not much for partying every weekend but I enjoy the kind of socialising that involves me sitting. A pretty healthy eater, and fairly active - bit of a hiker. Probably best to mention that I work in Corrections, so I'm not legally able to live with anyone with a current order/criminal conviction.
Coming back home from a working holiday in Canada, and looking for a great new place to move in to and hopefully make new friends :) I consider myself compliant and flexible, my best housing situations have been where we have all got along, so I like to do my part to contribute to a happy household, happy to share the chores and expenses of course. I am quiet and will keep to myself, but always down to hang out, watch tv, play games or make dinner together (I can make a killer home made spag bol). I am currently in the job application process, but will be working full time as a laboratory assistant. I don't have a car, and will be using my bike and public transit to get around. There is a particular apartment in Moorooka I am interested in teaming up with and applying for with one other room mate, so contact me if you are interested in teaming up, but of course also if you are interested in me joining your sharehouse/apartment.
Hi I'm Andrew. I am 27 and a full time student. I am respectful and clean. I'm located at Archerfield Airport and will spend the majority of my time there so I probably will never be home.
I'm friendly, kind and caring, but also respect people's personal space. I'm tidy and organised and lowkey an amazing cook. I love animals and am LGBT+ friendly and super accepting of all types of people.
Super tidy and easy to live with. Looking for some laid back young people to sign a lease with. I work full time in Milton, and spend most of my spare time at the gym and doing my own thing. Looking to get a puppy so pet friendly is a must. I'm pretty easy going, just expect what i put in around the house in return. Just want to live in a nice place, with nice people and a puppy. I'm pretty easy on location, just want to be no further than 15 mins from the city. Also open to moving into an existing share house if they're welcoming of a pup.
