I am an international student from Norway, going to study urban planning at Griffith university, Nathan campus until the end of october. I just arrived in Brisbane today (20.06.18), and have short time accommodations until 25. june. I would therefore like to find a place to live as soon as possible. As I am dependent on public transport, the accommodation must be located within a reasonable distance to public transport that will take me to Griffith university, Nathan. I would like to live with others as thats a great way to make new friends in a foreign city. I would prefer a good mixture of socializing and private life between me and my flatmates. During my stay in Brisbane I would like to explore the city and what it has to offer, while at the same time doing well when it comes to my studies. I think the currently ongoing world cup could be a great way to get to know eachother. However, thats definitely not a must if you're not interested in football/soccer! Feel free to contact me :)
I am a student of Griffith University. I work casually as a delivery helper, cleaner, and babysitter, and I receive Austudy from Centrelink. Location: As close to Griffith Uni Nathan as possible. Ideally Salisbury, Sunnybank, Coopers Plains or Mt Gravatt East. Please don't message me if your location is further South than Sunnybank Hills, or further East than Carindale. I'm trying to stick as close to the inner suburbs and as possible. North side is a big NO-NO. My interests include cute communist memes and the inevitable revolutionary doggo uprising. I love laughing my ass off, bingeing on Netflix, and being a dope ass meme Queen. Best thing about me would be my dog Freddy. He is a sweet lil munchkin, Mr Popular. As a responsible pet owner, I will assume yard mowing duties. I drive and own a car, street parking is fine. Happy to carpool if you chip in for petrol. Will be ready to move in October. Starting the search early, just looking for the right home for me and my son 🐶. Preferences; • Minimum stay 6 months. • Property and tenants must be pet friendly. Freddy is an inside/outside dog and needy for scritches. He is great with other dogs, and cats. • Room size suitable for a queen size bed and tallboy. • Room on ground floor preferable. Too lazy to move furniture up stairs. • Sociable household a must. I don't drink or party, I just hate awkward silences. • I'm 420 friendly but will obvs respect housemates wishes.
My partner and I are looking to move closer to work end of August. I work in Rochedale South at a dental surgery, fizz (20) works in Brisbane as an apprentice carpenter (we both are full time). We like our sports, keeping fit and healthy. We're laid back and easy going. Pick up after ourselves and guests we may have. Both very considerate of personal space and belongings. Like to go camping when we can. Not that big on partying all the time but like to have a few drinks now and then. One of my work friends Dianna (24) is also joining us. She has a beautiful golden retriever who is toilet trained and very well behaved. Dianna is respectful, easy going and likes to keep things clean and tidy. And yeah if you want to know more just give me a msg, cheers. I’m yet to confirm a place in Salisbury.its a 3 bedroom house w/ 1 bathroom. Awesome little kitchen with a mad cook top and big patio area out back. Pets welcomed. It’d be $225 bills and wifi included. We are looking at moving in around late July August :) And looking for someone who wants to stay for 6months plus or a year would be preferred :) HMU if you’re interested!
We are great to live with because we pay our rent on time, we are neat and tidy and are friendly easy going people that get along with everyone. As siblings we also get along with each other very well. We love to socialize however not party animals and keep the noise to a minimum most of the time:)
Hi, my name is Lina, I work full time in marketing, I'm mostly quiet and I always clean after myself. I look for a homey shared house or a granny flat. Potential issue 1: I have a well-trained puppy who is super lovely and friendly, she needs a fenced yard to hang around. Potential issue 2: I also have a lot of clothes, a big build-in robe or walk-in robe would be handy. Potential issue 3: I have a Golf, and it'd be great if I can park in garage or carport rather than on the street.
I am a Norwegian student. Going to study one semester abroad at Griffith University campus Nathan. I am starting my fifth, and final year of studying urban planning. Looking for a place to rent from the end of June to sometime in November. Preferably close to Nathan or to public transport, so I can easily get to campus. I will arrive in Brisbane June 20, from then I will be able to come view the apartment. A little about me: I'm very easy going and tidy. Happy to chill at home with wine and a chat, or watch netflix. I also like working out at the gym and do yoga. I love exploring new places, and want to see as much as I can during the time that I am there. I am friendly, polite and respectful of others. I would love a flat with a swimmingpool, but it isn't essential.
I am a Security Officer working rotating shift with a couple different Companies. I tend to keep to myself, but am quite comfortable having open conversations. I have a 2 year old son that I have during the day a couple times a week. And though I don’t have any Pets I can very easily live with them (especially Dogs).
Easy Going down to earth guy and easy to get along with. I enjoy the occasional netflix and pizza afternoon but also like a great night out. Trying to eat healthy and ultimately would say trying to find the path to enlightenment.
Hey I'm looking for people to team up with and find somewhere to live. I'm easy staying with males, females, and couples. Usually keep to myself but i enjoy a good conversation. Message me, if your'e keen on moving in together.
My husband and I are looking to relocate to Brisbane for work and we are looking to rent a studio apartment, granny flat or private room with BIR and/or ensuite. Our budget at the moment is nothing over $180 a week but once we begin working we are happy to discuss increasing rent. We are both very quiet, respectful peope who don't drink or party. We have a car so off-street parking would be ideal but not a necessity :) My name is Taylah and I am 19, 20 in September. My husbands name is Jamon and he just turned 22. We have been turned down by a few agencies due to not having a rental history, but we are able to pay rent on time and will keep the house in pristine condition. If you have anything that may suit us, please get in contact as we would be more then happy to come and meet you! Thankyou so much, Taylah & Jamon.
Hi! My name is Kirra, I’m wanting to move to Brisbane for uni however will most likely be working full time until semester 1 2019. I’m quiet and take my studies seriously, however I’m always down for a chat and a quiet drink or two. I’m not a huge party person, I enjoy spending my weekends hiking rather than being hungover. I also very much believe in Taco Tuesdays. 🤷🏻♀️ I have a 2 year old Labrador who is quite small for her age. I used to be a dog trainer so you can be assured she’s wel behaved (and spends the days doing nothing but sleeping). I’m quiet, responsible, respectable of other people’s boundaries and clean! If a duo of a girl and a lil lab sounds like a good fit for your home, id love to meet you!! *I’m currently searching for a job in Brisbane, ideally I’d like to move in, in July but the second I’m employed closer to Brisbane the second I’ll be there!
Empathetic, Down to earth, friendly, people person and a Nepalese Guy. Non-smoker, Occasional Drinker, Neat and Tidy, preference on teaming up with non-smokers. Focuses on personal development and loves reading books (Non Academic!), used to be in acting profession (Favorite Actress: Marion Cotillard, Actor: Uhhh... so many..... ) back in home country but currently studying masters in USQ in Brisbane, let's see what happens....
Hey just a bit of back story! Dan and I have lived together for a year so far and are looking for a third housemate to make rent a little cheaper. We initially are looking for 6 month lease but will more then likely extend! Feel free to message any questions you have we are looking for a house with a lockable garage as Dan has a lot of tools. We are trying to form a new team up!
I totally have my shit together and are a hassle free chick. I'm clean, tidy and not a party animal so very respectful of other peeps needs. I have all my own furniture so no worries there but it would be great if u have some storage space available. I also have a small dog 🐶 who I'm crazy about in a good way. He gets walks everyday but he is an indoor kid. He's loves dirty socks so if there on the floor consider them gooone!!
PART TIME FLAT MATE – FULL TIME RENT PAYER! I am looking for a rental and was wondering if my unique situation would suit your requirements. I’m a 46 year old female and require accommodation for me and my 8yr old son who I have 50/50 shared care of. I have a flexible work arrangement where I am in Brisbane and also Gatton. My days and nights are split between living at Esk and in Brisbane. Basically, when my son is in my care, I am in Brisbane. I also have a 17 yr old daughter who comes out to my property at Esk on most weekends. She pops up every now and then but does not live with me so will be hardly seen. I am easy going, friendly and often very busy but also keep to myself and my son is well-behaved and respectful. I love a good laugh and wine time with mates. I am currently at Oxley and love it here but the owners are selling. My son attends school in Salisbury so looking within a 10km radius of his school. Having our own space would be ideal (like granny flat) so we can run about our business without disturbing anyone in the home. I work fulltime and have had a steady job for most of my life. I will always pull my weight living in a share home and try hard to have little impact on others. I am happy to share a room with my son and occasionally my daughter when she visits. As far as interests go, I have a farm at Esk where my passion lies and also every other waking moment. I enjoy the outdoors (love animals and horticulture), crafty things and my social circle is important to me. I tend to get along with most people and have a fun and easy going personality that can fit into most situations.
Im Deren looking to move to the inner rings of brisbane for a career change. Im into real estate and open to living with others in a share house or a small apartment Clean, tidy, flexible with arrangements and generally up for a chat. Im very respectful, love dogs and meeting people from all around the world. I prefer an ensuite or own bathroom and need a furnished room with a queen bed. I am a full- time student looking for somewhere lovely to stay in Brisbane that will feel like home when I arrive in July! I am 20 going on 21 and have shared housing with other female students of the same age group for the past two years, so a similar arrangement would be ideal. But the most important thing for me is having a private room, preferably with an en- suite in a lovely flat/studio that I can have to myself/share with other tidy, easy- going people. If I'm not studying/exploring then I just like to just relax in my room with a book/ watch netflix :D
Hi guys I'm Mia, I'm currently completing a Law Degree at Griffith University. Monday-Friday I'm at uni and I work most weekends, so I won't be home a whole lot. My cat, Saffron, is a smart-ass, affectionate, 1 year old ginger domestic shorthair. I am essentially the human, female, longhair version of my cat. Saffy enjoys constant love and attention, and is known for his routine 'hello' kisses on the nose to all. He is extremily clean and behaves more like a dog than a cat! Looking for a decent place on the South side, preferably in close proximity to Nathan and no more than $200 per person (per week).
