Hi, I'm French, 28, currently starting my PhD in biology at UQ/Griffith for the next 3 years. I love outdoors activities. I'm easy going, social and I'm looking for a studio or a place to team up with some cool housemates who are respectful and who also enjoy sometimes sharing a drink and a chat to keep a nice atmosphere in our shared house :) I don't have pets but love them, and I have a real passion for venomous organisms : that's why I came to Oz ! But don't be afraid I won't pick some to our place ;) I'm looking for a nice house to share with up to 4 other housemates, or ideally a studio surrounded by nature ^^ Cheers :)
I'm Registered Nurse working in Greenslopes Hospital. Polish originally. I have lived with people from all over the world in California, Scotland and Ireland so I'm bit mixed and I'm really house trained :) Consider myself young at heart, easy to get along with, clean, reliable and respectful. I don't mind having a beer and some friends over a weekend or chill in front of TV but also can respect privacy. I like to stay active or travel whenever I have time. Cheers !
Hi, I'm moving from Townsville to Brisbane in February to start full time study at Griffith University (Nathan). I'm quiet, clean, tidy and easy going. I will be arriving in Brisbane on the 7th of February.
I'm Tim, 34, work two jobs for a national transport company (shift work) and for myself in the share market. I am clean, tidy, friendly and outgoing, like going to bars and restaurants, beach, sports and the outdoors. Looking for my own room in a share house, which is fully furnished, and off street parking. Also looking to live in a place that can respect that I'm a shift worker.
Hey. I'll be working in QE2 hospital from February. I'll typically work 6-7 shifts every fortnight and need a place to crash between them. For the rest of the time I'll be back down in Gold Coast. Looking for a comfortable place to stay whilst in Brisbane. Im clean, non-smoker, easy to get along with, happy to meet new people. Originally from Ireland, lived in Australia for a long time now. If you have anything that may be suitable, give me a shout. Darrsgh
I am 24 years old. I'm very easy going and easy to get along with but at the same time enjoy my privacy and respect others privacy. I'm about to start full time study at Griffith and cease full time work however I am very financially stable and will still be maintaining an income throughout my studies. I have a 4 year perfect rental history with not one date of rent missed. I enjoy keeping fit, video games, technology, cooking and socialising. I Don't do drugs, I rarely drink alcohol and I don't smoke cigarettes.
Heya, I'm a 20 year-old student studying in West End. I'm looking for a new place to live as my current place's lease has ended unexpectedly. I'm fairly chill, I can do my own dishes, and don't mind hanging out with new people.
Hi there! I'm a 2017 highschool graduate from Cairns and intend on moving to Brisbane to study at Griffith university :) I love sport and I absolutely love my friends and family! I often like to go out and explore different areas and I'm not afraid to experience and learn new and different things! I also love meeting new people and am always up for a chat! I do love my friends and like to be out-and-about and social on the off occasion, but you will most likely find me studying, reading a book or watching a movie - I do love my downtime. I am a respectable, quite person who generally keeps to themselves but still enjoys interacting with different people. I like to keep tidy and look presentable (most of the time except for when I wake up and look like a zombie). I am an extremely excitable person and have an overall bubbly personality but I also know boundaries and when to be respectable :) I love eating watermelon and am a full-time animal lover!
Hi there. I am currently looking for a place close to work (Archerfield). I have two female staffies who are well trained and love people. So I need a place with a fenced backyard, so I don't need to worry about them while I'm at work. During the week I usually study and play games quietly in my room, but I also really enjoy having a chat and having a happy environment where we can all be comfortable. On the weekends I like to take my 4x4 out and go camping, fishing, all that sort of shit. I keep tidy and clean up after myself and dogs. Looking forward to meeting you! :)
I am a student pilot studying a Bachelor of Aviation @ Griffith University. I am ending my contract on campus and now, I am looking for a long-term room till I graduate in 2019. Dont worry, my first language is English! I am naturally a chatterbox as I enjoy socializing but I absolutely know to respect quiet and study times. I am against noise at inappropriate times as I can not study without noise. Overall, I pull my own weight in terms of responsiblities and strive myself to be someone you can talk to comfortably. No one wants to live in an awkward environment :) I am extremely chill by nature so don't be scared to approach. Besides airplanes and the military in general, I love everything about the great outdoors. I regularly work out (getting into rock climbing), obsess over video games and geeky stuff, and spend too much time on my computer.
Im a 27 year old horticulture student, I also work at an organic cafe across from the brisbane markets. At home im a tidy & clean person, respectful & like to keep the peace. I like to do art and alot of creative things and love music (60s -90s eclectic taste) but I try to remain as unmessy/ unbothering to others as I can be. Never had any issues paying bills on time. I also have a small car so would need parking of some kind but im cool with street parking. Would be keen to grow some stuff too! Looking for a chill environment with respectful open minded people. I am busy and like to relax when I am at home and tend to just keep to myself, but down for some housemate socialising too. Ideally looking for a large room in an old queenslander. Vegan household would be great too. Not interested in living with children, close minded people or party houses but open to most situations as long as people are kind & respectful :)
Alex & I have just received offers to study nursing, and law at Griffith (Nathan campus). we are both so excited and will be relocating from Townsville. Alex loves gaming and will spend hours trying to finish the game. He also plays guitar, but we keep this to a reasonable level of noise and if it bothers you we can happily go outside. We both enjoy outdoorsy activities and love animals, so if you have pets it wont be a problem (we wont be bringing any with us). I enjoy cooking and admittedly spending too much time on Netflix. We are both pretty laid back and will respect your privacy, but we'd also love to be your friend if you so wish. We are both quite tidy and will have no problems with helping around the house. We would also prefer to have our own bathroom, and a mostly furnished property would be great, we also have our own bedroom furniture. If you have a granny flat or studio under your house PLEASE do not hesitate to message us! We're open to almost anything. If you have our next home or any questions please message me as soon as possible, we'd love to find a place asap :)
Friendly, easy-going guy. Studying full time (Early childhood education and care). Looking for a quiet, relaxed household with open-minded and friendly flat mates; either close to or with good transport to Spring Hill and the city for study. Prefer to live in a clean and tidy environment and happy to do my share of the work. I am an Open, honest and reliable person.
Looking for somewhere to rent close to griffith university as I am currently studying my bachelor of nursing. I am friendly and really easy to get along with. Looking for a place with likeminded people.
Hi there, Aiden and I are looking for a room to share. We're full-time Law students at Griffith Uni. Aiden works nights throughout the week and I work during the day at a cafe. We have been living together for over two years now, we have lived in three separate share houses and can provide you with a reference if necessary. We would like to find a share house with nice people who are like-minded. We take responsibility, we're clean, respectful, laid back and honest. Our idea of fun is bike riding, going to the beach or camping. I enjoy creating art while Aiden is a gamer at heart and reads comics. If you have any questions please feel free to ask! Looking forward to hearing from you, Chloe and Aiden
Looking for a quiet, stress free place where I can live my life without any hassles. A place close to shopping centres, buses, train stations etc. I have my own bedroom furniture so a large sized room to suit a double bed, my computer tables, mini fridge & freezer would be ideal. If built ins cupboards are available with built in shelf space that would also be a big help. If not I have my own cupboard. Ceiling fans or air con would also be nice, but not essential. I will be honest to say that I am on the pension at the moment due to some health issues I am dealing with, but I'm paying $125 per week including all utilities, where I am currently living in Sunnybank Hills and my rent has always been paid earlier than the due time. My budget also allows me to pay up to $160 per week in rent without any problems. When working, I work from home as a Freelance Multimedia Producer (have also worked in the Radio Industry) and I have a few projects I'm currently involved in, so finding a place with high speed internet, as part of the utilities included in the weekly rent would also be preferable. I am a very tidy person and I take pride in keeping the house and especially the kitchen very tidy and clean indeed! I can't stand a messy kitchen! I have quit smoking, so would prefer to find a place where I am not around it anymore. I am also, not a big drinker, so you won't ever find me drunk! I am an honest, friendly, respectful and quiet bloke who mostly keeps to himself. I am happy to pitch in and help with yard mowing duties or other chores if required and am always willing to help my flatmates with things if they need it. I am looking for a long term place like 1-2 years+. Cheers!
Hey there, my name is Ben and I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Economics and working casually in retail. I mainly spend my time playing board games, having a nice brunch with friends, and drinking good coffee when I'm not studying. When I'm home I generally keep to myself although I'm definitely up for making friendships, drinking some wine, eating some snacks and watching TV whenever suits. I'm clean, punctual with rent/bills, and reliable. Thanks, Ben.
I'm currently living in Cairns, about to move down to Brisbane to start my Nursing degree with my boyfriend Mitch. We're chilled back and we enjoy socialising but also enjoy time to ourselves. We like to go out and about so won't be in your hair too much. We are friendly, clean, respectable, love pets and love a lil bevvy or 2 on the weekends. Message me for further details!
I'm a student at Griffith, looking to live with people that are like-minded in the sense that they are tidy, sociable and courteous to myself and other housemates. I enjoy gym, cooking, watching shows and going out with mates. Interested in making some new connections in Brisbane.
Hi I’m a single 24 yr old that enjoys the simple things in life. I love my sport and going for a coffee. I understand the need for privacy but also enjoy a little banter and getting roudy. I’ll be respectable of others space and equipment as I expect the same in return. I’m looking to move into a place in the next few weeks. Sooner rather then later would be good. I have a English staffs that is spoilt rotten so a yard is a must that she can’t escape yet has room to run around. If you want to know anything else about me don’t hesitate to ask
My name is Tim and I'm a 4th year Forensic Science/Criminology and Criminal Justice student at Griffith University. I study full time and also work part time for Coles. I'm currently in the UK on an exchange semester and will be returning to Australia at the end of January, with the intention of moving in to a new room around the 7th of February. I'd be looking at staying till the end of June/start of July. My ideal room would have space for a double bed and a desk, and have an ensuite bathroom. I'm looking for somewhere relatively modern place, preferably with bills included, however I'm also open to places where they aren't. I am a quiet, tidy and respectful flatmate who keeps to themselves most of the time. I will clean up my own mess and contribute to chores in the common areas. Most of my time is spent at work or uni, and when I'm home I'll either be cooking or relaxing in my room. I also have a girlfriend and we often have dinner together after uni, and she would stay over a couple of nights a week usually. Tim :)
Aww, what? Writing about myself? Dammit. ok, ok I'm a guy from America who has been in Australia for over 12 years. I have Russian heritage and like to clean my own dishes just after using them. I finished my electrical apprenticeship about 10 months ago , and moved to Brisbane soon after when I fell in love with Zouk partner dancing. I've stayed in the one house the entire time I've been in Brisbane so far. I like meeting people and talking to them. Also having fun and making them laugh ;) My girlfriend stays with me month on, month off and loves attending zouk events. She is learning Russian with me, but she's also working on German while finishing studies.
My boyfriend and I are eagerly looking for the perfect property for us to call home while we continue our tertiary studies. Davis and I are both nineteen years old soon to be turning twenty and have each completed the first year of our degrees. Davis completed his first year of Nursing in our hometown of Lismore in Northern New South Wales at Southern Cross University, while I completed my first year of Government and International Relations at Griffith University Nathan Campus. In 2018 I intend to continue my degree, while Davis has applied for enrolment at Griffith University and Queensland University of Technology to continue Nursing. I am currently employed by Kmart Lismore and hope to gain a store transfer through the company. Davis is currently employed at a local nursery as a nursey hand but has secured a refereeing position in Brisbane with Football Queensland. Davis is hoping to gain further casual employment in addition to refereeing. When Davis and I have free time we love to spend time together outdoors whether it be fishing, watching and playing soccer, walking Davis' family dog and swimming in the pool. We also love to go out for meals as often as possible (when the budget permits) and spending time with our friends and family. Davis is the eldest of two boys who has grown up surrounded by sport. Davis is a fanatic for fishing, cycling, football, futsal and golf who throughout his life has played each sport and continues to participate in all of them as a hobby, competing and or refereeing. Davis is the wittiest person who banters very hard every second of the day. Davis is the most amazing chef and never cooks a terrible meal. Davis is committed to his studies and cannot wait until he is Registered Nurse . I (Lucie) is the eldest of three children. I am the tidiest person that I know with crazy habits that drive Davis insane but keep our lives neat and organised. I too have played many sports over the years including football, netball, touch football but since starting university have just stuck with the gym and six a side social football over the last two months. I am a very hard working individual both at university and at Kmart. I am also committed to my studies and aim to some day work in the Australian Federal Police. Both Davis and I come from loving and supportive families who have encouraged us to take this step into adulthood and will assist with the transition and any difficulties we may have financially for example. Davis and I don't have much rental experience as we are only young. I however have rented once before for a lease of six months at the beginning of 2017, this however was a difficult experience with untidy housemates and a difficult rental system. Davis and I are hoping to begin renting together so that we can have a place of our own that we can look after, love and call home.
