Well first up, I work away in the mines in Central QLD so although I'll be paying rent and bills, I'm only there half the time. I'm super chilled out. I enjoy a beer in the afternoon and go alright on the BBQ. I do like a clean house but in saying that, if we do cook a big meal the night before, I'm happy to leave the dishes until the morning. I love to keep active so if i can find a flatmate who is also the same then that would be great (but not necessary). I enjoy jogging, Kayaking and hiking. Sorry, I hate cyclists!!!! 😂😂. If you're a chilled out and easy going kind of guy or girl, hit me up.
I'm a pretty extroverted and energetic person, who enjoys socialising, but after sharing a house here in Brissie with an introvert for the past 12 years I've learnt how and when to keep to myself and give others their space, and peace and quiet. Looking for an unfurnished, and reasonably large room with builtin wardrobe if possible (3.7m x 3.7m minimum is ideal, or 4x3 plus a study table nook etc) I work from home (as a meteorologist), and spend 2-3 nights a week out of the house refereeing touch footy. I'm the sort of person who is often busy early and late in the day, but has large chunks of the middle of the day available to keep the house ticking over, both inside and out, while others may be busy or out at work. I enjoy following the NRL, and given my passion for severe weather, during summer I often head out in the afternoons and evenings to chase storms across SE QLD.
I’m a 24 year old health-care professional. I work 8 days a fortnight. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, going to the gym, watching netflix and crocheting. I’m kind and considerate and will be respectful of your privacy and space. I’m generally quiet and keep to myself but don’t mind a chat occasionally. I am a shiftworker so I work weird hours. Sometimes I’ll be up at 5am for work. Other times I’ll get home at 12am. Any prospective housemates would have to be accepting of this as I need to make a certain amount of noise in order to get ready for work and get ready for bed (i.e. showering, breakfast, midnight snacks). I am a non-smoker.
Hi guys, I’m a young professional currently looking for a drama free household to be apart of. I work long hours and train 6 days a week, so you won’t have to deal with me too often! I respect the need for space when living with others & consider myself to be a fairly laid back person & considerate of others so a household with the same mentality is what I’m chasing. Realistically I’m looking to move at the beginning of November, I have my own bed currently so that isn’t a requirement. :) Please be aware I am a smoker, so if this is something that bothers you it wouldn’t be an ideal mix.
Hey i am currently looking for a share house arrangement with a like minded person. I am currently looking for a place to live in Sherwood. I work - full time generally outside the house by 7 back 530. Outside of that I like go do some fitness cook and read I love to cook so shared meals on occasion are well in line. Most importantly, im considerateness respectful and clean I hope to look for someone soon so we can arrange something please feel free to contact me to discuss. I am strictly looking for people of good nature and drama free. Someone that can develop a friendship with aswell but also respect each other's privacy just don't want to come to a place and feel that's all it is a home starts with good company so I think it's a win win for both.
Hi there! My name's Mary, and I'm a 33 year old Aussie girl (Brissy born and bred) and have recently moved back to Aus after 8 years away in the UK / Europe. I'm currently working full time as a Maitre d' 5 at a gorgeous cafe / restaurant in Graceville (which I love) and I'm also working on getting my music back up and running (I did acoustic gigs and worked as an EA while in London). I love the beach, the outdoors, keeping active (yoga, crossfit, running, hiking), and enjoy a glass of wine or two every now and then. I'm looking for a clean and friendly place to call home, and would love to hear from you if you think I'd be a good fit. With thanks and warm wishes, Mary
I'm an easy going person. I have a son but he lives with his dad in NZ. I'm looking to meet some nice people and just have my own space again minimum 6months. I love to cook and relax. I work a lot and I'm trying to go to the gym more so I'm not around too much so when I am -I'm pretty quiet.. Not saying I can't have a good laugh...
I’m quiet considerate yet happy to chat and share with others or keep to myself if that’s yr thing. I don’t shirk my responsibilities and enjoy time alone or out with friends. I have a very quiet non shedding small dog . Like to cook and do my share of house work... enjoy outdoor time away from home or time watching adult son play cricket.
I’m a very flexible person, rather quite and chilled but love a good party. I’m working almost full time and studying so during the week I don’t do much. I have a beautiful 4 year old Rottweiler that I need to bring with me so can only rent houses that accommodate for her 😊
Hey, My name's James, I'm a 27 year old self-employed creative professional. I'm super low key and work as a professional filmmaker and photographer which sometimes sends me out of town for a few weeks or more. I don't drink, but enjoy hanging out and socialising, but also really value my privacy and respect that of others. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, reading, playing video games and training in martial arts. I'm neat, tidy and considerate of others. I also have several appliances including a fridge, washing machine and tv that I'm able to bring to the new place if required.
Move date is a guesstimate as not exactly sure yet but likely within 1-2months. Household will be amicably dissolving due to changes in our lives/circumstances. Please message me through here or if you text my mobile, please include your listing's webpage address. Otherwise, i'm sorry but i won't be interested as then you aren't verified and i don't know you're for real. Looking for quiet place that allows indoor only cats. After a place for a minimum of 3 months, if works out well, would stay for longer. Am 44, a non smoker/drinker, on disability pension for permanent health issues (migraines, arthritis, fibromyalgia and back/mobility issues). Fairly tidy person, but hygiene is must with me for kitchen and bathroom. I can be picky with kitchen and bathroom/toilet cleaniless, with keeping them clean as possible, the kitchen especially. Due to health, althu i like keep things tidy with my other living areas, i can't always clean as would like to, but when able to, do tend to have cleaning episodes where as much as can be cleaned/tidied is done (usually everything). Am otherwise fairly easy going, quirky, quiet, respectful person, preferring to keep to myself and needing own private space. I am an introvert who loves reading, writing, music, movies and am frequently on computer and streaming movies/tv (when/where possible). Have tastes more alternative than mainstream and am most definitely not 'girly'. I am well used to sharing with guys and girls. Also well accustomed to being around 'freaks', nerds/geeks, and others of 'peculiar' hobbies (such as all forms of rpg's, gamers, etc). Don't mind being around children of school age, happy to occasionally babysit so parents can have some time out for themselves. Need my cat with me, he is my ESA (emotional support animal) in my living with my health issues. My cat is a quiet, clean, desexed, indoor cat who is very skittish around other people until he knows them which takes first getting used to the new place then to the new people. (Being a cat not used to people in general it will take some time in a new place, with new people.) My cat is fully an indoor only cat so must have a place that's fully ok with that. As is an indoor cat, I do take steps to minimise any smell (such as litter tray odour reducers and air fresheners, etc) and clean both his food bowls and litter tray daily. Needing to live on own in small self contained place that is quiet and not many people around as need own space, mostly as I get paranoid about my cat getting outside and getting hurt or going missing. Needing a place without steps, easy to maintain and close-ish to some type of shopping center if possible. Do not have own car. While prefer living in own space, don't mind sharing with 1 or 2 others who are also quietish people if have own quiet space. Would also consider sharing with a single parent with a child. Have own furniture etc, so need non furnished place. Also bedroom needs space for a queen bed as need to have my own bed as i have special needs with my bed. Mostly looking for a place close(ish) to Centenary area or Indooroopilly or within easy drive of them, and with easy, close parking for family who help me get around for shopping, doctor visits etc. But know my options will be limited, willing to consider many other areas. Also as tend to do online shopping with home deliveries, need it to be ok with that. As for rent / costs / bills can afford, i can go higher than $150pw rent if bills are fully included or i have more space for my own things so less costs in storing what i don't have space for. If you look at my fb, please know i have it set to fully private (as i'm a very private person) and show my liking for HP Lovecraft in the cover picture. Also, my first name on it is my nickname not my legal first name due to having an abusive ex - he is no longer an issue except only on social media (fb is aware of the situation and worked with me on it).
Single man working full time at UQ in Biomedical Sciences, so away most workdays. Have a history of living in share homes close to UQ with families and single students. I don't smoke but enjoy a wine in the evening. I have two dogs that stay outside so am looking for a comfortable yard. Enjoy trips to the beach and Straddie for a bit of get away. Downsizing currently from a large home to a small one closer to work so have all furniture if needed.
Professional, sensible, courteous, clean and responsible male. Just moved back to Brisbane and will be buying a house in the next 6 months but am looking to share or get my own place to rent while I settle back in and get used to Brissy again. Find our the best suburbs, cafes, restaurants and lifestyle here. I work out at the airport but don’t necessarily need to live that close to there. Have a small dog and do a lot of outdoors stuff in my downtime including in rescue ops on weekends. I have some furniture and things in storage but ideally looking for something furnished however can get my furniture out of storage. Hope this helps Regards Sean

My tastes are eclectic and I thrive around good energy and down to earth people who are open minded and believe we need to treat humans like humans. I am reinventing myself and have no time for materialistic people or people who treat others as a piece of entertainment. I believe you can become the people you surround yourself with. I believe wealth is not about money, its the quality of people you surround yourself with.
Hi, i'm a 17 year old grade 12 student about to graduate. I have lived out of home for several months and currently live in a share house with my older sister but am need of housing until at least until graduation in mid November. The lease on my current place runs out soon and it takes me an hour and 45 minutes to get to school and work, which has affected my attendance. I am employed, and i'm also receiving assistance from Centrelink so I believe that I am financially dependable. I'm pretty academically focused, and i'm planning on studying either Visual Art or Economics at uni.
