Neyara

Hey! My name is Neyara Weerawansa and I’m a final year student studying psychological sciences at deakin university 🙂 I’m currently living in Hawthorn with my partner but he’s moving back to Sri Lanka to help his family with their business. I will be joining him in roughly two years though! He’s leaving in June and we are planning on giving the apartment back by the end of this month.

A little about myself:

- I am Sri Lankan and an international student! I’ll be staying here for at least another two years because I want a bit more work experience before I head back home!

- I am 22 turning 23 this year

- I work part time as a Tennis Coach in East Malvern and I am usually busy Monday - Saturday.

- I am a State Grade Tennis player (highest club level league) and I compete for Royal South Yarra Lawn Tennis Club.

- I am planning on starting up my tennis career again once I finish uni (I'll be graduating this June!) so I will be starting to travel every now and then for tournaments.

- I am very clean (I moved out of uni accommodation due to not liking messy flatmates) and I prefer keeping common areas clean too :) I do completely understand that if you or I have a long day, circumstances may change this and thats completely fine! Just as long as its not a constant mess :)

- I love having movie nights and/game nights and I am quite competitive so it’s good fun!

- I love being social and making new friends so I am perfectly happy having other people over for a cheeky drink and getting to know new people!

- Just FYI my partner (we have been together for nearly two years) does fly back and forth (every 6 months roughly for about 2 weeks) and my mum and sister occasionally visit (maybe once a year for 2 weeks, but I fly back to Sri Lanka to see them more than them coming here) so I hope its not an inconvenience if they stay with me (in my room of course).
