Terri-Ann and Michael

My name is Terri-Ann and my husband Michael and I moved to Balgal Beach (just north of Townsville) in October 2025.
We previously lived in Caboolture but unfortunately couldn’t find any properties in our price range in the Brisbane area so were forced to move up north or be homeless.
I am on a disability pension as I have fibromyalgia and can no longer work. Michael receives carers payment as well as jobseeker (while he looks for work) so we can only afford up to $375 ish per week rent.
We have 2 large outside dogs so we do need a fenced yard, but don’t mind if it’s a 1 bedroom house, unit or duplex, and can provide references for all of us.
We’d prefer the Brisbane area for my ongoing medical appointments and care but are also happy to be within an hour or so of Brisbane as well.
