My name is Tanya, I am a transgender woman who has been transitioning for almost 3 years. I now live full time and recently legally changed my name. I have been living with a friend in Cranbourne for the last 12 months (she owns the house) but after she recently lost her job she decided to increase my rent by $50 pm effective immediately. Despite my protests, she felt it was justified based on current rents in the local area. I have no desire to stay in Cranbourne.
I have recently returned to study, doing 3 days a week at Chisholm TAFE in Frankston. I am studying Cert IV in Mental Health with the aim of doing support work for other trans, non-binary etc individuals. I do work in between being a ride share driver for Uber. I am currently waiting for my Austudy to be approved so I can cut my driving hours out during the week which will allow more study time as well as rest time. Activity wise I have a gym membership at Planet Fitness in Seaford and I like to go cycling although an on again, off again knee issue has kept me off my bike in recent years. But I am still hopeful of getting back on my bike.

The sort of household I am looking for is easy going, prefer females/trans or an LGBTQIA+ (or both) household that has a positive vibe about it. While I may be quiet, I can also be quite social. I don't drink (although will have a Southern & Coke once every so often), don't smoke or vape and definitely no recreational drugs. I am quite anti-drug so if any of you do this, I am not for you. Also not big on regular parties. I don't mind the occasional one but if you're party animals I am not for you either.
My Mum lives in Red Hill (Mornington Peninsula) and I visit her weekly on average, so I am keen to stay within striking distance. Preferably around Frankston, Seaford, Langwarrin, Carrum & Carrum Downs areas.
I make a point of going out a few times a month to stay sane and have a social outlet. I’m at school 3 days a week, work Saturday and Sunday (with the occasional Sat night off for social events) and take Mondays off.
I also have 10 tattoos with plans to get more (they are scattered).
I really want some stability in my living arrangements, where I am now was meant to be longer but I feel it has become untenable for me now and it’s time to move on, find a new tribe where I am not judged for my activities.
Note: I do have some furniture. A small desk, marble coffee table, tall boy, small shelf, record player and stand (as well as a few records), 70” HD TV, I have a bed if needed.
