I am 33 year old single female, I am a lawyer, junior architect and now a lived experience advocate for survivors of Sexual violence. I need to re-locate to Sydney for upcoming national campaign (I am currently been gagged by vic law, so I can not publicly share my name- till now December). I have an exhibition coming up also in march at the iconic Town Hall union building on Goulburn st where the second national campaign alongside will also be launched).

Long story short, without disclosing to much here, I have only been out of hospital this year after spending a few years in acute Hosptial, after ending up in an induced coma after a DV related incident. I was told I could never walk or talk again. I have worked incredibly hard in rehab to regain my independence. I have full mobility now, and speech is back, but unfortunately I have neurological issues still, which prevent me from driving and more. Canberra is not great for public transport and unfortunately the government is lacking in supporting someone like myself that wants to be as independent as possible but still needs accessibility. I lost everything, my job,
I love the outdoors and am a creative. I have a fully accredited Labrador service dog through integration service dogs AUS: his name is Ibsen and is required to be with me at all times, as he detects seizures and more, and is able to alert help if needed, and to alter me if I need to sit, stop or lay down etc or if I need to administer emergency medication that is always on me.

I can not afford hotels in Syd longer term, nor can I afford Airbnbs. I lost everything, my job, my home, I have no informal supports at present either in Syd. or crb. (also lost all that) and

Ibsen is incredibly well trained, does not bark, toilets on command, and goes everywhere with me- work* social*, planes, trains and more. He gets a lot of attention and people adore him in public.
I am very tidy, I am social and love a conversation (especially now that I have a voice again). But I also suffer safety concerns due to my trauma and social anxiety etc. It is important that I am only housed with females unless it is a seperate dwelling (granny flat or studio etc) or if I have had time to meet other gendered individuals and I form a trust over time with them.
