Canadian tradie here on working holiday and looking for a room in a share house ASAP, my Airbnb rental ends Feb 9. Had a handyman side hustle back home and totally willing to do small house repairs for free if anything breaks down - I can do most things including appliance repair, I just don't have tools here... yet. Hoping that helps me stand out as a good roommate to have lol.

Not fussed about the gender of my roommates. Ideally close to train/bus so I don't have to buy a car as I'll probably end up working TA FIFO

250/week or less preferred; willing to pay more based on amenities (like a private bathroom, utilities etc). Have a few months rent saved up and willing to pay a month or two in advance in addition to bond if me not having a job lined up gives you anxiety (I just landed yesterday). Really don't feel like shopping around for a place as I would rather spend my time applying for jobs and lying on the beach so I'll take the first decent offer that comes my way.

I have ADHD but don't cook or eat much at home so won't leave piles of dishes. Hobbies back home include hiking, camping, kayaking, sailing, snowboarding, LARPing and archery. Hoping to pick up surfing here. Easygoing personality, get along with most people.
