Just moved to Melbourne from Adelaide. Good communication is essential and good conversation is a must but doesn’t need to be a constant. I am respectful and sensitive to others’ needs and their space too, just as I hope they are of mine - balance is best. I love art, music, and film. Worked in hospo for over 15 years so I can cook, but you’ll despise my dietary requirements. I’m all up for a dinner party or hang every now and then, but not all the time. I am a non-drinker, non-smoker, and no drugs, (coming up on four years) but I’m not here to pass judgement. I am just as happy to have water whilst you have wine, but let’s not do it to excess. I’ve worked hard to step away from those environments. I am respectful and tidy in communal spaces. I like a clean house (ie no dirty dishes or bad smells etc) but it doesn’t have to be immaculate and spotless - we all need to actually live!
Flexible with stay - 3 months to 12 months is okay. I don’t have much beyond a few small bags, but that’s enough for me. I light incense in the mornings in my room to cleanse the space and meditate - sacrosanct to my day - as home is my sanctuary, not a hub. I don’t have social media - that’s not my vibe. If there’s anything else you need to know then yell out - though I may seem reserved I’m an open book.
