Hi all. One of the first things people here in Australia like to know is, what someone does for a living. Well, I am an antiques restorer. Furniture, lighting and even cars. Yes, I know, sounds a little bit different from the usual type of profession we are used to hearing about. But someone has to do it!
Let's see. I have a quiet demeaner, but not the serious type. That would be boreing. Have a great sence of humour, but please don't ask me to repeat the joke. Can never remember how to tell them. I like a good conversation across a broad spectrum of topics. Like to go out to the theatre, cinema and don't mind going out to a good game of Aussie rules now and then.
Love to read and study, especially in the area's of history, philosophy etc. So, yes, I can be immused in a good book. I am continuing my on-going education, through Oxford University. Yes, sounds a bit 'posh', but it's cool.
I like to stay fit and healthy, and am a member of the Carnegie swimming and fitness centre. Great local place to workout. So please don't think I get around with a walking cradle. I can still out run most thirty year olds. I do not smoke, "do drugs", and only have the rare glass of 'red' wine.
I am primarily looking for a reasonably clean and quiet enviroment, but certainly not like a monestry. Prefer a share house/flat, as I like being around people, as I feel this is very healthy for one's own well being. But I do understand that some folks prefer to live alone.
Oh, they mentioned I should let you know "where I am from". I was born and raised right here in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs, which is where I also work. However, I have travelled and lived in Europe and the USA.
I don't actually have an 'on-line' photo of my-self to upload, but i can assure anyone, that I don't look like the "elephant man", if that is a concern.
I do have my own furniture to share, but I can put this into storage if required.
