Alexandra and Joel

I'm a university student (sociology & politics) from Germany, coming to the Gold Coast to study at Griffith University for a trimester. I love meeting new people, the beach, nightlife, and everything to do with music (playing instruments, going to concerts, jumping around at clubs), but I also enjoy a chill movie- or board game night in.

My boyfriend will join me on a working holiday visa. He is a certified photographer and will be seeking full-time work during our time at the Gold Coast. Like me, he enjoys being social and adventurous, but also appreciates quiet evenings at home. It has been a dream for both of us to stay abroad in Australia for a while and being able to do it together now is a dream come true! And we both definitely want to try surfing!

We value respect, personal space, and cleanliness, and would love to live with chill, open-minded roommates. Ideally, we'd like to be within walking distance of the beach and not more than 20-30 minutes to Griffith campus by bus/tram.
