Hi, I’m Jordan — 21 (22 next month), full-time Interior Architecture student heading into my final year, and working part-time alongside uni.
I’ve lived in share houses in Adelaide for the past three years, so I’m well aware of what it takes to be a respectful and easygoing housemate. I’m moving out because my current housemate is getting married — so I’m giving her and her soon-to-be husband their space.
I’m pretty relaxed and like a clean, tidy home, but I don’t sweat the small stuff. Open communication is important to me — I’d rather just talk things through and keep things simple.
I’ve got a busy schedule between uni, work and placement, so I’m often out during the week. When I’m home, I enjoy my own space but am always happy for a chat or to hang out if it naturally comes up.
Outside of that, I’m into eating out, health and wellness, cars, and getting outdoors. I’m social and like catching up with friends, but I’m always mindful of shared spaces and boundaries.
I’m ideally looking within 15 minutes of the city, preferably near good public transport. I’m also a bit of a car enthusiast, so a secure undercover car space is important.
Budget-wise, I’m around $300 per week, but flexible for the right place.
