Hi there,
I'm Partoo, 25 years old, originally from Iran, but grew up in China for 10 years. I moved to Australia on my own at 18 years old with my parent's financial support. In Canberra, I lived at catered student halls, as well as with a housemate later on. I eventually ventured out to Melbourne and lived alone for 2 years. I’m a recent Master’s graduate from University of Melbourne, but I felt like Sydney would be a better fit for me. I currently have a part-time online job teaching English to Iranian students, but I will start my PhD and find a part-time job here soon!
I'm basically a grandma. I sit at home with my cuppa tea and crochet while I shake my head at "teens these days". I'm not a smoker, nor do I drink. I don't have any pets. I'm quiet and prefer to work (soon), go to the gym, and I love to cook.
My partner might visit me sometimes, but we usually keep to ourselves or end up going out.
I don't do well with kids or pets because I'm a bit sensitive to loud noises or sudden movements. Otherwise, I'm super chill and tend to get along well.
Lastly, my dad will be supporting my rent payments through our joint account, in which I'm happy to provide a proof of balance.
