Hi I’m Michael (usually go by Micky)
I’m a 28-year-old originally from Hobart, Tasmania. I currently help run a bar venue in the Salamanca area and have decided to make the move to Newcastle for a bit more sunshine and a change of pace. I’ll be hoping to step into management roles once I’m there, and I’m really looking forward to the lifestyle shift.
I’ve lived in share houses for many years, currently with two female housemates, and I’ve always gravitated toward living with women — I find the atmosphere more relaxed and enjoyable. Although still open to living with men also. I'm a respectful and easy-going housemate, tidy and mindful of shared spaces, and very used to the rhythm of communal living.
A little about me — I love to cook, go for runs, watch movies, and catch up with friends. I work quite a lot, but when I’m not, I enjoy a mix of quiet time and socialising. I'm not a big drinker these days, but I do enjoy the occasional day out with friends when time allows.
I’m still in Tasmania at the moment but would love to arrange a FaceTime call if open to a chat. I'm also happy to start paying rent from the changeover date, even if I’m not up there immediately.
