Ben

Heyyyyy. I'm Ben, and I come with my furry best mate Miya, a 10 year old staffy X husky.

We've lived quite a life together the last 8 years and have recently relocated back to our beloved Sydney. We're currently in the inner west but missing our old stomping grounds of the east where we lived and worked many years so looking for a new home.

I'm self employed having a vintage furniture business, as well as freelancing in events for the last 5 years. My schedule varies and may be working in the day or evening in my workshop (Marrickville) or restocking / styling shop space (Alexandria). I'm often at events adhoc in the evening or on weekends, which sometimes takes me away from home for a few days.

I like to have a home thats a relaxing sanctuary. I love guests when they arise, and would like a social house, although defintely looking for one where its members know how to get the balance right. I'll be the first one to make margaritas, but will also be the guy that tip toes around and has the TV or music quiet so I don't disturb those I live with after hours.

Miya is a very social lady who defies her 10 years. She's a beautiful old soul that wraps everyone up in her charm. If you've ever wanted to live with a dog without the hassle's - here she is. Can be super shilled, yet has lots of character. ALWAYS up for doing something and a motivational force to get out for that walk or cliff adventure. She's not a barker, doesn't steal food, fully house trained,a dn comes with better references than me! She's with me most of the time, although I have a few other friends /exes that also have her on a loose rotation or when I'm working and need the help. It's important for me to live with people who love dogs, as Miya deserves all the love in the world for what she brings, and is a very high priority for me.

I've lived in many a shared place over the years and value making connections with those i live with. We'd like a home with likeminded others, rather than just renting a room with randoms doing their own thing. It's worth mentioning that I don't consider myself your average 50 year oldv guy! I don't like to be defined as a number, although I've definitely got a few stories for you over a nice meal and some wine!

If you like mid century, modernist or eclectic home, I have enough furniture, lamps and objects to furnish a whole place if needed (as I sell furniture if you didnt get that already!). Plus most things needed for kitchen - Knives, coffee machine,glasses yadda yad da, plus curved smart TV, nice Hi-Fi and lots of vinyl records (as I also sell those in my shop!). Hoping we connect musically too ideally!
