Hello future roommate! 👋

I’m Maria, I come from Greece, and for the past one and a half years, I’ve been doing my Master’s in Molecular Medicine at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.

This February, I’ll be moving to Melbourne to join an amazing research group at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute for my internship, which will run until October. I’m really enthusiastic about this new chapter and can’t wait to experience life in Australia!

I believe I’d be a great fit for your apartment for a few reasons:

I’m experienced with shared living; during my master’s, I lived with a roommate, so I really understand and value what it means to share a space. I believe co-living is more than just sharing a roof; it’s about creating a friendly and respectful environment where everyone feels comfortable.

I always respect the house rules and care about maintaining a positive, easy-going atmosphere. A clean, calm, and considerate home is really important to me.

My lifestyle is quite focused on my research right now, so you can expect me to be calm, organized, and not loud or disruptive. That said, I’m also very social and love meeting new people, exploring new places, and building good connections — especially in a vibrant city like Melbourne!
