Hey there, I'm Felix from Berlin, Germany :) I am currently doing a postgraduate degree in Communications and Politics at the Free University of Berlin. I have a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Economics and I've been working part-time in the German & European energy industry. Luckily I was offered the opportunity to spend my last semester at the University of Melbourne where I'll be studying the Global Media & Communications program. As you can probably imagine, I'm already pretty excited to fly over to Australia - especially since Melbourne seems to be an amazing place to live. There is just one thing missing: A proper place to stay and a couple of awesome flatmates! So what makes me great to live with? - I'm a really friendly and sociable person: let's have good conversations, let's cook together, let's chill in the park or have a BBQ, let's wear pyjamas and make a movie night, let's go clubbing, let's organise a games evening or let's go to cinemas, museums and theatres. Don't worry: this might sound a lot but you definitely won't be obliged to hang out with me 24/7. I will be studying (and probably working part-time) which means I have a lot to do and I am perfectly fine to do stuff on my own! - I am a reliable person. I've been living in shared apartments for seven years - mostly with friends of mine. I know how to clean, I know how to transfer the rent on time and I respect your private space. - I am a creative mind. I enjoy taking pictures, sometimes I paint stuff ( I need to improve my skills though), I am playing piano and I really enjoy writing. - I am interested in many things: politics & economics, media & journalism, languages & cultures, music & clubs, travelling, cars, renewable energy & smart city concepts, e-mobility & autonomous driving - just to name a few - I am curious. I really want to make the most of my time in Melbourne and Australia. I'd be super happy to take a deep dive into the Australian culture. Let's explore some nice places in Melbourne together. I would also love to do hiking trips in Victoria and see the rest of Australia. Last year I've already got to know some places along the east coast. The Great Ocean Road as well as the west coast are yet to come. - I am multilingual. If you're interested in Europe I'd be happy to share some experiences with you. I was born and raised in Germany, I went to school in Paris for a while and I studied in Madrid for 7 months. I can speak German, English, French and Spanish. Some information concerning the apartment: I'm looking for a place to stay as of the 15th July. Unfortunately I cannot make any appointments before that date since I am currently living in Berlin. My maximum weekly budget is 250AUD. If possible, I'd be happy to find a place which is close to the University of Melbourne (Parkville campus) - ideally in the CBD, Fitzroy or Carlton. I have a strong preference for a private room since I need to study from time to time. The room should be furnished. LGBT-friendly would be awesome. If you think it might be a match or in case you have any questions, please don't hesitate contacting me. I am also happy to organise a skype call. Cheers, Felix
Hey guys, my name is Farell. I work full time in the city. I’m looking for a private room in and around the CBD. A little bit about me. I would like to describe myself as laidback and social. I enjoy drinking over the weekends and binging on junk food. I’m looking for housemates I could share stories over a cuppa coffee post work or grab some dinner. If you think I would be a fit please drop a text.
Hi, I recently moved from New Zealand to Melbourne and am working as a young professional in the CBD. I am looking for a place with not too many other flatmates, preferably other working professionals. Also, a place that's clean and quiet - not the party type!
Hey, my name is Marcus I am a 30 years old freelance photographer based in Berlin (Germany). I have been to Australia 10 years ago and did 9 months work&travel which I really enjoyed. My dream always was to come back some day and now the time has come! ;) I am an easy going person who loves doing sports like running, hiking and playing basketball. I enjoy hanging out with people and having fun. I love cooking and having BBQs. :D Besides photography I like being creative, building stuff out of wood and metal. I'd really like to get to know Melbourne outside of the touristy stuff and become a part of the locals.
Hello! My name is Shann and I’m from Plymouth, England. I’m moving to Australia for at least a year in October. I’m planning to travel a little later in the year (or even possibly in a second year) so I’m just looking for a nice place to stay for at least three months but likely much longer! I’m arriving in Melbourne so starting to look for flats there but I’m quite flexible anywhere in Australia! I’m so excited to explore the country so will always be up for hikes, day trip and adventure! But I also would love nights of dinner as a house. I’d be looking for hospitality work when I come over as that is what I do here. Ideally I would like my own room but other than that I’m very flexible with properties. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I am Indian girl, joining master program around second week of July in UOM. I am looking for accommodation sharing room within 5 kms of CBD, having separate beds or king size bed with separate wardrobes to adjust belongings. I am vegetarian and looking for neat and peaceful atmosphere. I am helpful and love to socialise, making new friends. Let me know about room and communal facility available in property. Also, I would like to keep transparency, so it is better if you inform all charges including rent, electricity, gas, water, internet, laundry, building maintenance etc to avoid any future confusion. Have a nice day!

Looking for a room starting from the 21st of July (Happy to pay from the 14th of July): - Respectful. Tidy. Strong housemate etiquette. - Happy to hangout with you but also happy not to hangout with you. - Won't steal your food but you can steal mine if you're that hungry 😂.
I’m easy going person that always create a good atmosphere at home. I’m friendly and respectful.
My name's Alejandro and I've just relocated from Shanghai were I was living for the last 4 years. I'm a chill and tidy guy, looking for a temporary room on shared apartment starting mid-July and for a couple of months. I like cooking and having a glass of wine from time to time.
Looking for a private room with own or shared bathroom. I'm from China, studying Bachelor of Science at University of Melbourne. I’m clean and tidy. I’m easy-going and sociable. I'm pretty chill, fun and easy to live with. I often cook Chinese at home. I like to hang with my roommates and friends and share our interests. At the meantime, I respect your time and space. I love music and tennis. I'm not a constant party person, but would love to have a small drink and chat.
I'm currently studying and working part-time so I'm out of the house most days! I pride myself on being quite tidy and not encroaching on other people's spaces :) I tend to keep to myself but I'm always up for getting to know new people and experience different things! (I LOVE cooking in my spare time so there will never be a shortage of biscuits or cake if I'm around)
