Professional working in I.T. Originally from Northern Ireland, been here about 8 and a half years now. Love going to gigs, keeping fit, watching football (soccer), and binging a series on netflix! Despite being an Irishman, I'm not a party animal. Enjoy going out for a beer from time to time, but prefer to relax at home, or work on side projects. I'm respectful of personal space, and privacy. Ideally I'd like to share a house with someone I get on with as mates, and we can enjoy the occasional dinner, or TV watching together. I like to keep my home clean and tidy but I'm not a neat freak or anything, dont worry!
I'm Canadian, but I've been living in Melbourne for 4 years. I'm extremely tidy, and request others be the same. My background is in Finance and Law, and I currently work full time for a software company with a few side projects on the go. Generally I split my time 50/50 working from home and the office - so I won't get in the way of other activities in the house. But that being said, I do need a house that is relatively peaceful. While I enjoy a nice dinner party, I do not want to live in a party house. I'm an early morning person - generally in the office before most people are awake so I can be home by early afternoon to relax when the day allows. I like to cook when I have the time, so a good kitchen would be great. Looking for a house/flat share, preferably with only 1 other person, and preferably a working professional. Or also a team up - I have enough furniture to furnish the place too. My current apartment has a spare bedroom which we use for storage, and also a spare double bed I have so guests/friends can stay over when needed. It would be great to have a spare bedroom again though it's not mandatory. I'm looking for a move date closer to the end of October but can be flexible.
Hi I'm Glenn Late 30's, self employed finance professional who has lived in the Melbourne CBD for the last 10 years. I am self sufficient, stable and have a busy, well balanced lifestyle where I choose how much I work and make time for relaxing & travel. I love cycling, running and staying fit. I am recently single after being married for 10 years so I am taking a year out from the hard grind to enjoy life and widen my social circle. I'm not a party animal, and I don't drink - so I would prefer living with someone who doesn't stumble home at 3am every other Friday! In my downtime I enjoy reading, netflix and the occasional trip to coastal Victoria for a long weekend. I am very social and enjoy good company & conversation over a home cooked meal occasionally, and have been known to host a BBQ with friends once in a while. I am pet friendly, and love to jog with a dog in the morning - but presently don't have a puppy :( I would like a clean, financially stable, employed, respectful and experienced person to flat with who enjoys a high standard of living, works well with others & knows how to maintain a neat but relaxed home. I look forward to talking with you soon if we sound like a good fit...
Hi, I'm Ethan, a working professional currently based in St Kilda. Keen to make the move to the northern suburbs. I'm pretty easy-going, always up for a chat. I tend to keep things pretty tidy and really enjoy meeting new people from a range of backgrounds. My free time is divided between brunching, diving, spending times outdoors and considering joining the gym and never doing it.
I'm 25 years old, and a very easy going person. I enjoy going out and being social at home in a healthy balance with my own space and privacy. I work as a travel consultant with an African safari company full time in South Melbourne, so I get to combine my love of travel and wildlife in what I do for work. I'm a very tidy, organised person and willing to be flexible and compromise where necessary. I'm hoping to find some like-minded people to live with, somewhere it is easy to reach work on public transportation (though I do have a car so parking is ideal too though not a must).
Hi guys, Im looking for a place that feels like home. Little bit about myself, I work as a doctor, respective, well travelled, looking for my own place or with some like mind people. Thanks, Jedrzej
I am a 26 year old student from Denmark studying computer science on masters level at University of Melbourne. I am going to be staying for a single semester. I am an open minded and relaxed guy, who enjoys reading and doing a variety of sports. I enjoy coffee and some beer in good company (as is tradition in Denmark), but I rarely stay out late.
I am a 22 year old Danish exchange student at University of Melbourne. I'm here to study and experience the city and the people. I love sports in general, particularly soccer, and I love music and movies. I will be a very chill and quiet housemate, I am clean and stand up to my responsibility and won't be in your way.
Hey! I'm a nice, easygong girl from rural NSW moving to Melbourne to commence my first year of uni in 2019 at UniMelb :) I'm a bit of an overachiever in my studies but outside school I'm easy to get along with, down to earth and attentive to needs of those I'm living with. Hobbies include gaming and all kinds of art. If I'm studying or artmaking at my desk I'll almost always get chill music playing as long as it doesn't annoy anyone, nothing too rowdy :) I'm super excited to live with some new buddies!
Looking forward to occupy a room which needs a responsible tenant 😀 A 23yo software developer working for an IT company in the city (mon-fri). Technically I bash my fingers on my keyboard to earn my bread. In short you'll end up knocking my door if your computer/electronics face any issues 😛 Pretty easy to get along with (you'll notice it too :) ) Love hanging out around the city on weekends. Not a chef, but I keep testing my skills in cooking every now and then and would appreciate if you could help me name my recipes. Occasionally a Netflix geek 😅
I am 29 and work full time as a graphic designer. I also volunteer as a graphic designer a few hours a week and I often have other little creative projects on the go. I am looking for a home, I love a clean, tidy, somewhat aesthetically considered space. I am very house trained after 10+ years sharing. I am very busy/social but when I am at home I would love to share with likeminded people who we can have food or glass of wine together when schedules align. Interests include - cycling (everywhere), yoga (as much as I can squeeze into my life), design, architecture, art nerd, natural wine obsessed, coffee, horticulture - growing plants and veggies (I have a veggie plot and I will share my harvests with all my lovely new housemates) - love cooking ridiculously complicated things, trying all the food Melbourne has to offer, music/gigs/festivals/travel.
Hey mates Marion's here! Frenchy working full time as a barista in Fitzroy (yaaay free coffee) and obviously looking for a room. I've got a Working Holiday Visa and I arrived in Melbourne in February after a trip in New Caledonia, and Amsterdam just before where I stayed a year. I travelled the East cost already until Cairns and I just think Melbourne is the best. I like it there and I’m done staying at the hostel. Love the vibes but I would love some privacy and comfort. I hope I'll finally be able to settle for my last months in a home sweet home, with friendly roomies! Clean and tidy yes, I will also like tospend time with you guys after a day of work, chilling, chatting and having fun with some wine, games, movies or crazy nights out! But I still like having some time for myself in a cosy and comfy bedroom. I'm up for viewing and meeting at every moment, can't wait to meet you :)
A gal from Canberra moving on to greener pastures for a 9-5 in the Melbourne CBD. I enjoy making Simpsons references, being overly competitive at friendly board games, attempting to stay fit, finding cool places to get drinks, and breakfast foods for dinner. I am looking for a place to live that will give me easy access to the CBD. I am tidy, considerate, can cook, and not a tight arse. I would be keen to get around housemate activities, but also have my own friends in the city - looking for a place where people are friends and not just living with one another 🙂 tl;dr - tidy and respectful of privacy - easy to get along with - not a homebody, keen to get out and about - wants to live with you
Hi Flatmates! I'm a friendly, easygoing and considerate guy in my mid-twenties looking for a semi-furnished/unfurnished room in an apartment or house with open-minded and friendly individuals. I currently work full-time at a specialty coffee roaster and café in Brunswick East so I’m hoping to find something on the north side, close to public transport and main roads as well as being a space to recharge and enjoy my downtime. I enjoy exploring and relaxing outdoors and also really enjoy cooking when I have the time. If I’m not catching up with mates, or holed up in a café reading or scribbling I do enjoy getting lost on YouTube or in my watch list on Netflix. I’m clean and respectful of others space, belongings and privacy, but I do enjoy the camaraderie that a relaxed and sociable living situation can offer. I always have a steady collection of books and magazines and I love plants, so can contribute either to any new space if encouraged.
I just moved to Melbourne from Hong Kong to start my PhD at the University of Melbourne. I'm a pretty big nerd -- I love playing video games and games of any kind (my PhD project is about video games). Sooo, any weirdness or dorkiness is greatly encouraged around me. No judgments here. :D I am also a very tidy and quiet person. I will probably be working from home quite a bit, so it's really important to me to make a comfortable, clean living space with good vibes where everyone can relax and be themselves. A peaceful home is everything to me. I love animals. I'm super respectful of personal space (I'm an introvert too, so I get it), and I really value positive communication -- when something doesn't work, I'm always open to working out a way to fix it. I'm mainly looking to team up with one other female who also wants to maintain a lovely, comfy, supportive and quiet home. A two bedroom place somewhere close to Melbourne Uni would be great in that regard. But I'm open to other arrangements if they seem to fit. :)
Hi everyone! I'm Maacah and I'm looking for a new place to call home for the rest of the year or longer :) I am quiet, tidy and very considerate and have a lot of experience in share houses. I'm currently studying my masters degree and am looking for a room in a chilled house with relaxed housemates. Message me!
My friend and I are on exchange for a semester at The University of Melbourne. We’re two 22-year-old Danish guys staying here until approximately mid-November. We are both open and friendly persons and have good manners - we stand up to our responsibilities such as cleaning up and not being noisy in the evenings. We're both active and interested in all kinds of sport and enjoy good company.
Hi there! I am appropriately friendly and clean. I enjoy a good chat and a couple drinks with my housemate(s) while I also enjoy staying in my room watching Netflix or listening to music. I'm looking for a place that's close to the city. I have a full-time job as a customer success manager for an IT company. Currently I live quite far away from the city and getting up at 7 every morning is killing me... Not a morning person. Would love to live somewhere that can get to the city within 20 minutes by public transport (or even by walk!) Also want to have at least a double bed and not too keen to live with more than 4 people. Hit me up if I'm the one you are looking for. ;)
I am a clean, open minded and respectful person. Bit introvert but I do enjoy good conversation and music. I don't smoke or drink. Like to cook and pretty easy to get along with. Preferred length of stay can be somewhere between 6-8 months.
Hi there, we are Marcus and Sophia, both aged 27 and from the UK. We have been in Australia 9 months and are coming to Melbourne for 1 month from 9th august - 10th September 2018. We are clean and tidy people with a professional working manner. We like to explore new things but also don't mind chilling out and watching TV so are pretty easy to please - we are physically fit but love a good feed. We have already had a lease in Perth so can supply a reference if required. Looking forward to hearing from any potential listings. Thank you and kind regards.
Hi there! My name is Aline, a 31yo Brazilian professional moving from Japan to Australia to work full time for a company near CBD. I’m a laidback person, who enjoys spending time at home watching Netflix and health related videos on Youtube! However it’s not like you will find me locked in my room the whole time!! I am always down for trying new places to eat, having ocasional drinks and doing something fun over the weekend! As for the place I am looking for, finding a furnished room and having a private bathroom would be ideal. But I am flexible to other options as well. Cleanliness and tidiness are very important to me. I am a considerate person and respectful of others, their spaces and belongings. Would like to find a friendly and also communicative housemate that shares similar interests, lifestyle! I have booked an Airbnb until Aug 03rd, so would be perfect if I could find something by the end of July! :)
Hi all, my name is Masha and I'm from Belarus (it is a wonderful country most of ppl are unlikely to have heard about). I'm moving to Melbourne in a week to study MBA at University of Melbourne. Now I'm looking for accommodation options and would love to consider places around the university with nice flatmates.
