I'm a bit of an arty farty chick who is currently studying Advertising at RMIT. I have a concerning obsession with Japanese food and Instagram. I also love a bit of banter and go crazy over art, music, food and photography. I'm originally from The Sunshine Coast (QLD) and only moved down to Melbs at the start of 2016 (still a bit of a newbie) so I'm always very keen to meet new, like minded people! I'm super clean (but not a neat freak), independent, and very easy going. I love hanging out with my friends so I would definitely be inviting people over every now and then! I am very excited to cook up a storm next year as I love to cook too, however I cannot go past 2 min noodles most of the time.
Hi, I'm 17 but turning 18 soon! I'm from Newcastle NSW moving to Melbourne to study a Bachelor of Music (performance - Cello) at the University of Melbourne. Hi! James & I aren't a couple but a couple of bloody great mates who wanna meet some new pals, live in a cool area and have fun. We both work in the creative industry (he's a graphic designer and I work in TV production) and hail from London. Looking to be in Melbourne long term but as we just arrived don't want to commit to anything longer than 6 months as life evolves and who knows what may happen, looking for a little nest to finally open our backpacks up in for now. We both like art, films, bad jokes, sunshine & beers, music and good company. We've both lived on our own for a very long time and are fully house trained. Grocery shopping / chores / washing up / wiping down / hoovering / mopping / mirror shining / window cleaning / bed making / skirting-board dusting... you name it. We will do it. Hopefully we can meet someone SOON!!
I'm a neat, reliable and great to live with. I work full time at ABC radio in Melbourne, love my work but also enjoying socialising and having fun. I'm mature, considerate and will respect your space.
Hey, My name's Andrea, going on 23 and from Norway. I am currently studying psychology and geography at Melbourne Uni (2nd year), and normally I keep pretty busy during the week. I'm a responsible, open-minded and social person, always up for a laugh and good times, but also very independent and respectful of space. I'm also a major foodie, enjoy a good book and absolutely love traveling. I've got several years of flatshare experience and like to believe I'm a pretty great person to live with. I'm looking for a sharehouse with 1-4 other people starting from January 22nd, the earlier the better. Ideally I'd like to live with people who are up for a good chat over a meal or drinks from time to time, and who are also quite relaxed, open-minded, clean and generally respectful of others. And of course keen to make the sharehouse a home! Hope to hear from you, thanks!

Hi I'm Di. I have just finished a postgraduate university degree at Adelaide University and have been offered a position in at St Vincents Research Institute in Fitzroy. I have lived in a share house the past year. I am easy to get along with, clean up after myself, enjoy socialising but am also happy to give people their own space. I have a small black and white cat that is house trained that I will bring with me.
Heya! I'm a super organised, neat, reliable student moving from Perth to study at the University of Melbourne. I'm happy to spend time by myself but appreciate good company! I enjoy going out for coffee and dinner but also chilling at home with a cup of tea watching netflix. :)
I'm 28 years old and work in marketing at Penguin (bonus if you/your housemates like reading!). I've been share housing in Brunswick but the awesome couple I'm living with have decided to be grown ups and get their own place. Before that I was living by myself as I'd just moved down from Sydney where I lived for 3 years share housing (though I'm originally from Brisbane). My job is the usually Mon-Fri but I'm out of the house by around 7.30am every morning and sometimes don't get home until 7ish. Weeknights I tend to keep things pretty quiet usually doing some exercise after work and having a healthy dinner – though I'm always happy to have a mid-week wine and watch some crappy reality. On weekends I love to catch up with friends, explore Melbourne and beyond and occasionally go back to Brisbane to visit family. I'm looking for a place to call home and settle, I'm sociable with housemates and enjoying doing the occasional shared dinner but also have my own things going on. Master bedroom with ensuite and parking (street or off-street) would be preferred. I have a washing machine, fridge, couch and kitchen things – but if not needed, I could look to store.
24 yo Asian lad full time professional/studying part-time towards CA, friendly organised and well house trained. I get along well with respectful people who enjoys socialising over a drink but also respects each other's own space. Looking for a new place to call home - preferably no crazy parties or excessive noise. Other than that, I cook, lift, go to gigs and make bad jokes :)
Hi I'm an easy going student studying at melb uni! Looking for a single room in the city based on a long term basis and would prefer if the apartment is not under a lease so I can stay past a year. Hi, I'm looking for a house with a happy vibe. I'm 31, originally from Byron and working full time as a social media manager. I love photography and design, travelling (scuba diving when possible) and being out with friends. I'm really considerate and respectful. I'm a social person and would like a balance of doing my own thing but also living with people I could consider friends.
Originally from Byron, I've lived in Melbourne for 3 years. Currently working as a bartender in the CBD. I'm a huge nerd, love board games and medieval history. Also really handy, love building furniture and sets for theatre, I'm also currently refurbishing a small sailboat. Relaxed around the house, like my own space but I'm always down for communal house dinners and board game nights, which I supplement with cocktails ;) Also not afraid of hard work, I'm currently living in a garage I renovated (need to get out before it gets too cold in winter!) so if there are any big jobs that need doing I'm your guy!
Hi everyone, This is Ali. I teach International Business at RMIT University and also do research. I do like cooking and prefer to cook at home and would be happy to share a weekly meal with my future housemates. I am a clean, respectful and easy going person. I am social, but also mindful of people’s space and privacy. I have an established network in Melbourne but am also looking forward to meeting new people. I am always up for shared dinner and drinking wines/beer/gin together. I love a good gig, card game, good shower pressure and sunshine. I am outdoorsy and active, but no exercise fanatic. I try to ride where I can, but also have a car.
Hey y'all! I'm Brittany from Texas! I'm friendly and love meeting people, but I'm not really a partier. I'm 30 years old and am clean and considerate. I'll be in Melbourne until early December (coming back mid-January) and will work while I'm in town. I have a blog about travel and dessert-- so I love going on adventures and checking out all the new spots for freakshakes and doughnuts. :)
Hey! My name is Brittany and i am a third year undergrad at the university of melbourne studying media and coms. I work part time retail for cotton on group whilst studying, and my spare time is spent hanging out with friends, eating good food and having a Bev or two (ten). Pretty happy to do my own thing most of the time but always up for a chat, and hopefully become great friends with my future roomie to make our place a home. i am honestly one of the most chilled out people you can live with, but very organized and on top of things. Ideally looking for another chick around the same age to join up and sign onto a lease for a modern-ish two bedroom apartment, preferably with a balcony. Max 210 each per week. Early feb. If this sounds good to you, hit me up!
Hi There! I'm Jess, an American expat from Austin, TX living in Melbourne for the last four months on a work & holiday visa. I am an independent contractor in the entertainment & events industry. I've just started a contract with Cirque du Soleil & will be with them for the next 2.5 months. I also pet / house sit so sometimes I'm gone for several days at a time. I am a music junkie so I always have my speaker going but will keep the volume down if you don't want to jam out with me. In my free time I like to enjoy the great outdoors, go to concerts, grab beers with friends, try new restaurants & spend a stupid amount of money on food from QVM. At home I love to cook, open a bottle of vino & Netflix it up. I do thoroughly enjoy my alone time but love to socialize as well so I can gel with whatever you like. Currently seeking a flat north of the river for a two month commitment to start with the ability to extend that if applicable. I will know by late Feb / early March as to whether I will be staying in Melbourne longer. I don't have much stuff with me since my exact time here is still TBD but I do have some kitchen appliances, an HDMI cord & a full bedroom set for myself which I can sell if furnishings are not flexible. I've also got an HBOGO account for communal use. Look forward to chatting with you about your place! :)
Hello! :) My name is Avleen and I'm a 29 year-old female originally from Sydney. I'll be studying at Monash this year and am looking for an affordable place to rent in Melbourne. Ideally I'd like to be close to Clayton but am flexible as long as it's roughly within my price range. I'm friendly, easygoing and clean. I love having a good chat now and then over a tea or beer, and also enjoy time to myself. Thanks in advance and hoping to find somewhere great on here :) xo
Hey funky souls! My friend James and I are both students, originally from South Gippsland, looking for accommodation around the areas listed. We love having gaming tournaments (esp. N64 oml), board game nights, feasts and petting any doggo or floofer that lives. 🐈🐕 I am super passionate about the N64, environment, the N64, food, exercise, veganism (but no hate towards people who aren't it's all g), and the N64. So if you can mentally prepare your stomach for some cooked up 10/10 meals and perhaps some 007 or Mario Kart tournaments that'd be ace. James is an all-round top bloke who loves his baseball and doesn't mind downing a beer or two. He's also into his gaming, dank memes and telling you everything he did wrong last year. We are looking for at least 2 bedrooms to rent out (but we are open to going our own ways if we find a mint place), and our max budget each being $180 including bills (poor student life 😅) so I hope one of you lovely souls out there has a place available! We are very respective, clean, and tidy people who would love to live together with maybe a few others whilst we complete our degrees :) Don't hesitate to contact us! Thank you for reading and we look forward to reading your messages! Cheers guys xx P.S we're not a couple, just life-long friendios.
Hi, I'm Mark. I grew up in a little town called Olinda on the top of Mount Dandenong in Victoria. I've been studying a Philosophy and Politics Major at La Trobe for the past few years and am taking a year off to have a break and get some savings. I'm currently working as a barista/all rounder at Min Lokal cafe in Fitzroy. I'm tidy, respectful, and considerate of other peoples space and things. I enjoy a wine/beer and a chat, am easy going, and friendly. I like to hang out with friends, I like to read all kinds of books, and I like to go out to a bar or two and have some fun.
Hello, I'm a very friendly and tidy second year Arts student at the University of Melbourne, originally from Sydney. I'm looking for somewhere to live until mid/end of June this year, and would love a quiet place that's within walking distance to uni. I also work and volunteer as a tutor so will be out and about quite often, but happy to have a chat if we're in at the same time.
I am a hard working 18 year old Australian, I like spaces being clean, love to be social though would respect your space, I do have an outgoing personality and would be love to find a place to call home! At the moment I will be shortly commencing my studies at RMIT (Bachelor of Business - Financial Planning) at the city campus, I will be also working part time at Woolworths, though I also have a couple of business projects that I work on in my spare time. I'm from Bendigo and I'm excited to be moving somewhere closer to the city! For fun I like to go on spontaneous day trips to do something different, hang out with my friends & occasionally enjoy a good read! I would prefer to stay in a place where we aren't complete strangers, but would be willing to respect your space.
Hi! My name is Mia, I'm 24 years old, looking to move out of home for the first time. I am tidy, friendly and respectful. When I'm not working I love to write, read, watch movies, visit museums/art galleries, and hiking/going to the beach. I also love to travel, if only I had more money for it! :'( If you are LGBT+ friendly, smoke-free, and looking for a female housemate in the areas of Hawthorn, Toorak, South Yarra, Richmond etc., then I would love to get to know you!

Looking for a place to live near Melbourne from the end of February to around June. Canadian moving to Melbourne for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Looking for a space to call home. Flatmates who are either graduate students or young professionals ideally. My program is demanding so weeknights will be quiet with visits to the gym, but weekends I'll need stress relief via exploring the city and alcohol. I lived in a shared house during undergrad and know for a comfortable living environment everyone needs to lend a hand. I like clean spaces, but am not an OCD clean freak! I'm tidy, conscientious, and easy going. Hoping to find a living space thats a home; not just a house :-)
Moving down from Sydney. Great cook, tidy but not OCD, work full time in hospo so similar peeps preferred, non smoker, looking for some chilled human beings to live with that like to share a wine or two but also respect each others space. I study commercial interior design part time, it's more my passion so a lot of pride goes into the space around me. Very close to finishing my degree and always up for a giggle.
Friendly, Social and love just relaxing for a few with friends! Moving to Melbourne with one of my best friends from New Zealand, lived in Aus before and now back to earn money and have a good time!
Hi there, I am an outgoing and friendly girl! I am from Geelong and am looking to move to Melbourne, as I will be working full time as a nurse in a large hospital. I am tidy and organised. I value my own personal space and respect others. I am not looking for a party house, however I do love going out and have a active social life. I am looking for a place I can call home and feel comfortable living in. I would happily enjoy catching up and enjoying a meal or a beverage with my housemate/s. I am SO in love with Melbourne and super excited to explore it, and all it has to offer. I love going out for brunch/ dinner and love good coffee. Looking forward to potentially meeting you..
Hi We are a couple who will arrive to Australia in 1 February 2017. We love to meet new people from different cultures and backgrounds. Please contact me if you think we are possible candidates to live in your accommodation or if you want to know any further information. Jon - 26, Spatial analyst / Research assistant, very capable cyclist (previously competitive but chose a career/social life over becoming a professional cyclist) and handy cards player. Easy going, loves a bit of banter and well domesticated through forced child labour (mum's reason for having kids). Appreciates having pot plants / flowers / a garden wherever he lives. Trikk - 25, avid photographer / animal lover (grew up on a dairy farm) and currently working for the Australian Wheat Board in South Bank. Very friendly and loves a good chat. As a couple, we're not ones to lock ourselves inside of our room never to be seen and looking for a house where everyone gets along/friendly rather than a case of contractual co-habitation. We're clean and highly respectful and considerate of all others and sure we can make a positive contribution to the house whilst maintaining a pleasant status-quo. We're looking for a place to stay with where we can sign a minimum 6 month lease and relatively flexible as to the date we move in. Thus, we can work on a timeline suitable to your place.
Hey guys, My name is Paulina. I'm 24 years old Polish, arrived to Melbourne 2 months ago. As my sublet is coming to an end with the end Of January I'm looking for another place to stay. What I'm seeking to is a private room in an existing sharehouse or creating a new one. My budget is max 180$ pw, but I can spend more if the place is really tempting. As I live in Thornbury, it would be awesome to stay in the area but the line Northcote, Brunswick East, Collingwood, Carlton, Richmond, Fitzroy are very welcome as well. I'd preferably share a space with people close to my age. I completed studies in Economics, here I'm working in hospitality. I'm super easy going, sociable, respectful of others space and I'd love to land in a positive household with more or less like minded people. I'm often out if not working but always keen to share a meal or grab a beer if such opportunity shows up. If it seems like we might get along well feel free to message me to go to further details and possibly set a meeting. :) Thanks!
Hey! We're currently in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa and we'd like to settle in Melbourne for 6-10 months whilst we work. We're looking for a room with a double bed and enough space for the two of us. We're both recent uni graduates (well we graduated 2 years ago but we can still say recent can't we?!) who have been working in support work and events whilst we saved for a bit of traveling. We've both lived in shared houses before and understand all of the unwritten rules that go with it. As a few examples, we know how important it is to respect other people's personal space and we're super clean and tidy, taking our fair share in chores (we can't live in mess!). We're social and both like a drink (both in a bar and whilst on the sofa watching Netflix) but do like time to ourselves too. However, we're after flatmates we can really get along with! If you think you'd like to live with us, we'd love to hear from you.
Pretty chilled, love great food, passionate about health & wellness. I'm a Naturopath and work the standard Mon - Fri for a major health & wellness brand (free supplements, skincare & superfoods!), love to socialise but do need my own time every now and then! I have a beautiful 6 year old staffy who absolutely loves people, pats and tennis balls 🐶😃
Hello Earthlings, I'm looking for private room in or near the City (preferably Docklands). I'm studying at Melbourne University and as social as an IT student can get. I'm into sports and a little bit of fitness. To balance out, I also like to cook and am a foodie(I'm happy sharing my food). I'm still exploring Melbourne and wouldn't mind if someone tags along. I'm open to the idea of leasing a new apartment together in Docklands. If you think I'm your guy, message or text me. Cheers ^_^ 0.4.1.2 8.0.8 8.6.3 PS: non smoker, would prefer to live with the same.

Jill and I are moving to Melbourne from Perth on the 8th of February and are looking for a place either near the city or with easy access to public transport. We have both just graduated from university and looking to work part- or full-time as well as enjoy ourselves in a new town. We are friendly, respectful, quiet, and private people -- though we can be social and do enjoy the occasional drink or night out.
Hey! My name is Eren and I am a mechanical engineer, easy going, dance instructor at the same time. I have my guitar with me so we can have lots of fun. I like watching movies, drinking, cooking and sharing with people and finally dancing of course. I can teach lots of moves for fun :) Searching for clean, tidy and nice furnished houses to rent. I like going out with friends and up for any events so it is nice having me on your side :)
We have both been travelling for the past few months and are settling in Melbourne for 4-5 months to work/study. We are tidy, chilled out people who are looking to explore the city of Melbourne while we work and study. We both come from Scotland and enjoy playing sports, drinking good coffee, travel blogging/vlogging and wine.
A full time uni student, attending RMIT Fashion School in Brunswick, looking for a room near the campus (Brunswick, Carlton, Fitzroy, Coburg ....). Would prefer something long term (6 months - 1 year) and willing to spend around 175-180 p/w or 200 p/w (including bills and internet). I have loads of experience living in share houses and am pretty laid back. I have good social skills and will comfortably get along with almost everyone. Do like to go out from time to time but not huge on partying; would much rather go to a pub for a drink or 2. Very clean and well kept when it comes to sharing kitchen and toilet facilities. Will respect the privacy of other housemates and expect the same in return :)
Reluctantly moving as the owners are selling current place. Final year Media Comms major and work music/ hospo/ freelance on the side. Financially stable, into films, botany, good music, food, culture etc. Mostly busy and have my own things going on but I also enjoy having downtime with housemates/ having mates over to share food & vibes. I go interstate a few times a year sometimes for work/ to unwind/ suss gigs/ visit friends and fam. No stranger to share housing and would ideally like to live with like-minded people!
