My name is Dhruv and I am currently studying screenwriting at RMIT. I am very even keel and laid back but take responsibility and do what's needed when it's needed. I try to be considerate, fair and am willing to compromise with people I live with.
Hi guys, I am easy going, young in my mind but already 48 years old German doc with Polish background. According to the job offer at Royal Melbourne Hospital, I am desperately seeking for affordable accommodation in the near of RMH.also Fitzroy, Carlton North, North Melbourne. I am not searching for a party house because my times as party animal is over, but I appreciate easy going people around me, listening to good music. In the last years, I have switched from punk music more to electronic music and stayed big reggae and alternative afficionado. I am a passionate cyclist, a handy man working with timber and able to fix a few things in the household. I am interested in diving, reading, hiking, more outdoor guy. I keep my cage tidy too. According to one year contract at RMH I would like to find something on long terms. My two children live in Australia (24y and 15 y), so they would visit me sometimes.
Hi everyone, I am Philipp from Germany and I am looking for a room in a shared flat. Currently, I study at Melbourne University until July 2018. I'm a tidy, easy-going, open-minded, responsible and reasonable person who has experience with sharing a flat in Germany. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Philipp
My name's Chris and have a friendly border collie Hamish. I'm 27, working full time in recruitment in Carlton and am studying part time in Hawthorn. I'm pretty easygoing, love to have a beer or wine and good chats. I like to go out and be social but not a party animal and enjoy getting to festivals when i can. Cheers
Joel and I are a fun, musical and kind couple who would love to find a place to live for the next year or so. Joel is a Swedish citizen on a working holiday and I am an Australian citizen working and studying close to the city. We both love music and film, science and learning something new every day. Joel is quite the handyman with blacksmith, carpentry and allrounder skills and I am a brilliant cook and a sweet little singer. We would love to live in a house that enjoys music and having a glass of wine at the end of the day with stimulating conversation. We are both incredibly respectful, polite and quiet humans who value personal space and time and who clean up after themselves, every time. We like to go out and be active in the community, we like to see concerts and try new foods and explore the outdoors! All in all we are straight forward people who are pretty pleasant to live with!
I am easy going, tidy and reliable person who has recently moved to Melbourne from New Zealand. I Enjoy socialising but also respect others privacy. Used to sharing with mature women. I have an older Burmese cat who loves people. I would be interested in sharing in an already established flat or home or in a team up. Work full time in the CBD so interested in anywhere in Melbourne with easy access to public transport to the city.
Looking for a house near Thornbury where I am about to begin a new full time job as a Project Manager. I am in my final stages of an environmental engineering/science degree so study at nights. I'm quiet, clean, love to cook and enjoy a glass of wine and cheese at the end of the week. Originally from the country, I am very active and enjoy being outside. Moving in with me will be my little silky terrier x jack russel. She is a very well behaved little dog who spends her days in the yard and night time inside. Don't mind what gender I move in with, looking for a friendly housemate who will enjoy chats and a laugh.
Hi. My name is Peter, Korean male in late 20's, and recently moved from Sydney to start my post-grad degree. I'm looking for a nice place to call home in Melbourne and flatmates I can consider as buddies. I like to think I'm very open-minded. I respect every and any sexual orientation, religion, beliefs, and perspectives on life in general. I don't drink or smoke (quit a few months ago, yipee) but enjoy the odd social or deep chats. I'm a sports fanatic, especially soccer. I know it's not big in Melbourne but I could talk about soccer 24/7. I can also hold my own in most video games and am willing to wager a weeks rent on a console game (jks). I also love historical/action/sci-fi/thriller movies. Can't stand romantic comedies. But did enjoy La La Land. I only watch one TV series. Game of Thrones. Enough said. I also like.. LOTR Marvel Movies Dogs Cats Documentaries Conspiracy theories Music of all sorts (except heavy metal). I just like anything with a good beat. Even tried to make something of my own on my laptop. Didn't go too well though. Can cook but only to survive (teach me n I'll teach you something!) Clean. Very tidy. I also like having the common areas neat and tidy and all for cleaning rosters if you're keen. I usually put things back to its original state or where it belongs. But if I forget, just slap me real hard so I don't do it again. Last but not least, I've lived with girls before so I know how to keep the toilet seat/lid down and I don't usually miss ; ) Slap me if I do. So yeah. Get in touch if you think I'm the right fit! Thank you!!
Hey guys, I am a RMIT student looking for a place to stay. I am tidy and know when to give you space. When not working nor having classes, I'd spend time in my little space to relax. I don't mind hanging out or having fun with friends and flatmates, but I am quiet sometimes. My move-in date is flexible, and everything can negotiate. Please message me if you have a good place or looking for a flatmate. Cheers.
Hello potential new housemates! My lease is up on the 8th of September and I'm looking for a new place to call home. ( I am flexible with move in dates for the right place!) Im still new to Melbourne after moving from Adelaide late last year to start a new job. Hoping to join a social share house with friendly housemates who don't mind a drink and a bit of banter. I work as a full time engineer for a consultancy in the CBD. Love to explore trendy cafes, bars, restaurants and the outdoors. I enjoy a drink on the weekends and a good netflix binge during the week. Looking for some housemates that are around my age and are similarly working full time. I am clean and respectful of others. Feel free to contact me if you have a cool sharehouse going or are wanting to teamup and start a new one :)
I have been living in shared houses for 9 years, I am easy going , like sport, I´m an industrial and graphic designer arriving to Melbourne to find a 6 months job, so probably half the day I work and the other half I´ll be doing sports .. I am organized with the house common áreas, I love to mix chats and drinks but only from time to time party.(outdoor smoker)
I'm Ryan, 25, full time electrical engineer working with robotics startup. I like music, going to gigs/festivals, having beers and hanging out, looking to move into a fun sharehouse where everyone gets along. Looking to move immediately for the right room! Some things that are on my wishlist but aren't deal breakers: -NBN or fast internet -Garage/Shed for tinkering Some things that are important to me: -Unfurnished room - I have my own stuff -Parking (permit/off street or quiet street)
I'm a relaxed and clean girl who is very quiet and respectful. I work full time as an analytics consultant in Southbank. Working hour is normally 9 - 6, but often we have to stay late when required. Outside work, I go to the gym, hang out with my mates on the weekend (brunch, board game, escape room, badminton, movies etc.). I enjoy my own time, love sleeping in, watch movies/TV shows, cooking (making biscuits, dumplings). But I'm also keen for a chat or dinner together when we are both at home. Move in date must be before 17 August. I should be able to stay for at least 1 year. Furniture is flexible. Budget is $280 within free tram zone but $180 outside the free tram zone. I don't have a car with me so being close to public transport and groceries is important. I have a lovely 1year-old indoor cat that I want to bring with me if possible. She uses the litter box regularly and very human-friendly. She can pretty much look after herself. If you have a place available, please feel free to message me. Look forward to hearing from you!
I'm currently studying mechanical engineering at RMIT, 3 days a week & I'm also working casually in the city. I've been in Melbourne for nearly 2 months (moved over from Perth) I have a gorgeous 10 week old black lab, her name is Apollo. I definitely love going out an socializing, but nothing beats staying at home with a glass of wine and fabulously bad crime shows.
*Pub Trivia host + Corporate event MC. *A professional VO artist & presenter. *Black belt in karate (12+ yrs) *Biomedical Scientist. *Speaks English, German & basic Spanish. Most people find that I'm kind of like the boy next door that you became good mates with when you were younger, who is almost like family as he will always be up for a chat, a drink or hanging out if you are around but also always has a few projects that he's working on so wouldn't be in your hair & annoying.... Think of..... A Golden Retriever.... but in human form.... (sounds weird until you get to know me haha)
I'm new to Melbourne; young professional with 14 years experience in share-house living. I like keeping things neat, I lead an active and healthy lifestyle and I'm social, though I really enjoy having my own space and I respect the privacy of others. I tend to go adventuring most weekends and I will travel with my job, so will often not be around. I also love animals and wouldn't mind looking after any furry friends.
I'm a tidy person who loves to have some fun. At the same time, i prefer my own privacy.
Hey there, I'm Jon. I'm originally from wintery Winnipeg, Canada, and have been living in Melbourne since Feb 2016. I'm looking for a private bedroom room in a 2-4 person share house and have to be out of my current house by Sept 12th. I'm looking for something longer term. I'm currently in Coburg, but want to move closer to the city, and closer to the freeway since most of my work is in the Eastern Suburbs. By day I work in a sales type job, and am also a music teacher. By night I'm a professional freelance musician. But don't worry, I'm very conscious and considerate of any practicing in the house, and usually try to do it around when people are out of the house. I'm often out during the week nights rehearsing, but never in my own home. I'm also sometimes/often away on the weekends a fair bit as a lot of my gigs are out of town. When I am around, I love to hang, chat, and cook. I'm a huge foody and cook quite a bit, and also love cooking for and with others ;) I'm a social creature and am looking for a home, not just a place to lay my head. I'd love to find people who enjoy hanging out, going for drinks or food, out to gigs and what not! I like my own space and privacy, but looking for like minded people I can become friends with! I'm a pretty active guy, when I'm not playing music or cooking, I like anything involving sports, reading, going to gigs, exploring the city and going out. If this all sounds good to you, drop me a line! Cheers :)
I'm a second year apprentice painter hoping to transfer to Melbourne from Broken Hill before Christmas. Fun, quirky individual. Easy to get along with. Don't go much on TV or video games but I'm an avid music listener and love sitting around the house drawing. I also love a chat and would like to find someone that can help me network around Melbourne to find new friends!
Hey, this is Levin. I am a 24-year-old student from Germany, who is currently studying here in Melbourne for a semester at RMIT. Beginning of September my girlfriend Caro will join me here to make things even better. We are looking for a nice and tidy home with good roommates. Friendship, community, and sharing is really important to us but we also value personal space a lot. It is a balancing act, which we never had any difficulties with. Both of us had various different share house experiences. We both are calm and peaceful, relaxed, open-minded, well-travelled, and curious about anything that considers itself an alternative (to whatever) lifestyle and to weirdos, happy for every adventure that comes across always down for making some troubles at night, festivals, hobo road trips, raves, frisbee, hiking & camping. Caro will be volunteering to work with children. Engaging with the community and with culture is what makes her happy. She is a bubbly half Brazilian girl, curious and probably the most caring loving positive person you might meet. I study social sciences, and I can become quite passionate in discussions about global and transnational politics, social dilemmas and utopias. When I asked good friends to describe me in one word they said: social, unconventional, sensitive, caring, provocative, sharp, analytical, creative, nebulous. Somehow this made me seem like a schizophrenic autistic. There are, however, advantages to us as roommates: We are both pretty clean and tidy, and we love to cook (botch veggies) for each other and our surrounding.
Hey future roomie! About me... I'm a bit of a nomad. Been skipping all over the world for the last 11 years and not sure if i'll ever be able to stop. Into many activities including: coffee, fried chicken, quiz night, exploring cities, hiking mountains, 8 ball, darts, games of all sorts, reading, movies, all the sports, interesting conversations, learning, being proven wrong, cooking delicious meals, cooking shitty meals and nothing else. Beer, vino and whiskey are things I should stay away from, but do not. Love trash day and paying rent on time. Keeping the kitchen clean is a passion of mine, not in an anal type of way, don't worry. Generally have my shit in order. Been playing the renting game for a long time and get along with just about anyone. Enjoy being social and genuinely love getting to know the people I live with. Also enjoy a good hibernation in my room. Mark
Welcome to my Listing! :) Basic Information - I'm an 18 year old female, born & raised in Melbourne! I'm currently searching for either a room to rent, whole property/apartment, bungalow, studio, (or something along these lines) I do own a dog, you can read about him below if you feel like it's necessary! With school, I have finished year 11, but plan to go back to school to start doing a course before the year ends hopefully. I have one job as a club host in the CBD but I'm also looking for a second job as we speak! About My Pup - My pup's name is Salem and he's a male. He's a border collie x staffy, but his border collie half is much more dominant (as you may see if you meet him)! He's only 8 months old, I still remember him when I got him at 8 weeks... he's honestly still as much of a softie now as he was back then!! (inside and out)! I'm in the middle of training him currently, thankfully he is toilet trained :) He's a gorgeous dog, he's never been known to retaliate to other animals or people. He has adapted to living with many other dogs and cats! He is a very shy/awkward doggo at first when he's getting used to new people/settings, but will show you the most priceless undying love when he's comfortable! I am a very flexible person, just communicate with me and I'm sure we can figure something really amazing out! My budget and length of lease can be very flexible :) Please don't hesitate to send me a message for any further information needed!
