I'm a graphic designer and I run my own freelance design company. I work from home most days and also on the road a fair bit to meet clients. I'm looking for a room to rent in a suburb not too far out with people who are friendly and considerate and wouldn't mind sharing with a very cute and friendly dog. I'm a pretty social person, and love catching up with mates for dinner and drinks on the weekends or go for bike rides. I'll describe myself as easy going and clean and like to to maintain the shared living environment in a clean and hygienic state. I have lived in share houses for many years so I know how to be a decent and considerate housemate. I also have a 5 year old Japanese Spitz who is completely house trained. He doesn't chew except his own toys, and he's very laid back and friendly and doesn't bark much at all. He is great with cats and other small dogs, but is scared of big or aggressive dogs. But he will pretty much follow you everywhere and loves food!

26 yo girl who is going to spend this year in Australia. I studied language in university and speak English and intermediate Spanish. Plans for this year are to make money and live like a local in Melbourne for 10-11 months, meet as many locals and people from different cultures as possible, become a better version of me and then travel the rest of Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia for several months. I enjoy movies, photography, dancing, books, kitesurfing annnd camping. An animal lover, especially dog. I value a peaceful home environment where housemates are careful to respect each other, but like a chat and socializing, as well. I try to keep things clean but not in an obsessive way. Very meticulous about paying the rent on time.
I am friendly and respectful person, careful to take care of wherever I live. I like a friendly chat with my flatmates but I also respect other people privacy. I recently relocated to Melbourne from Perth and studying law part time. In my free time I like dancing and being outdoors. I am looking for minimum 2 to 3 months accomodation with possible extension.
Hi all, my name is Dylan. Recently graduated uni, and working hospitality 4-5 days a week in the city. I've been a part of the sharehouse game for quite some time, throughout uni, and am looking to make the jump from the southeast to the wonderful northern suburbs! I'm a Tasmanian, and go back a few times a year to visit the trees and endearing bogans. I enjoy a few quiet beers, bbqs, gardening, vegging out with a book on a comfy rug or patch of grass, hiking, roadtrips and tacos. I also like to tinker with things and am a real fan of the versatility of milk crates. I have a decent lot of experience with sharehousing, and can be social or quiet as the house mood calls for. Currently looking for a place in the vicinity of a year, but I am flexible in this regard. To have a new place arranged around the 4th Dec would be great, but not essential. Hit me up if you think I'd make a good match for your place!
Start from 01/02/2018 (time is flexible!!!) prefer a private room and roommates from different countries. I’ll study in UNIMEL (parkville campus) for master degree for two years. I'm finding a clean and tidy place which is within walking distance of the uni. I’m from China but I prefer to live with people from different countries. About myself, ordinary and a little bit boring person. Spending the most of spare time thinking about useless questions, staying alone, watching movies or reading books (topics relevant to politics, economics or psychology), but also interested in live music and sports. I'm not a totally sociable person but if you need someone to hang out for drinking, watching films or tennis games, I'd like to join. Please be free to message.
Heyyyy my names Elisha I am a 31 yr old looking for a place to live :D I am a gamer so honestly spend most of my time gaming, but don't mind getting out of the house now and again for the beach or a cute bar. I love pets so of you have any sort of pet I consider it a definite plus :D I love Rick + Morty, The Simpsons (if you need someone who will give you a stream of constant Simpsons quotes I am your girl), Adventure time... pretty much any cartoons tbh. I loveeee music wayy to many genres to list, mostly EDM but a lot of bands and stuff as well, if you want to share new music with me it would actually make my day. I should probably mention I am awkward and anxious until you get to know me then I am more than happy to hang out for a meal, drink, chats etc. I do have some specific requirements I need somewhere with NBN preferably FTTP, I stream games on Twitch so I need an upload of at least 5mbps preferably more. This also means I need space to set up my desk and equipment so either a largish bedroom room or a quiet space in the house. I also need air conditioning due to a medical condition, so preferably in room but I am open to options. I am easy on location but these two are a must :) I don't work due to medical conditions, so I am home most of the day, paying rent/utilities is 100% not a problem so please don't let this put you off, I am happy to discuss further if you are at all concerned :) My lease time is flexible I'd prefer 6months with option to stay on longer, but I am happy to sign for 12months in the right place.
Hey future Flatties, my name is Daniel. I'm a fairly new import to Melbourne and am keen to find a warm and safe place to call home and meet some interesting people. I will b heading back to study in February but for now I'm working full time. I enjoy going for a jog or doing a bit of yoga (though the latter has been neglected a little bit recently and is now at the top of my Resolution list for 2018). I'm a pretty avid cook and have a general enthusiasm for food and health and experimenting with new flavours. I can be quite comfortable with my own company and understand people need privacy and space but am also working on being more outgoing and connect with like minded people. I also started gardening recently. Only herbs to begin with but they're doing really well so a future goal is to branch out and get more into that.
Hi I'm Tee, I'm 24 from the UK and I'll be moving to Melbourne in January to start studying veterinary medicine at unimelb. I'm super easy going, very tidy, always up for hanging out - going to gigs or out for drinks. Music is a big deal for me as is red wine! I'll be new to the city and keen to make the most of it!
Hi there! My name is Eugene, I have recently completed my BA in Canberra at ANU and am moving to Melbourne early next year to begin my Masters study in Design Strategy and Innovation at Swinburne. Devouring music (particularly of the electronic persuasion) and reading takes up most of my spare time. I love Melbourne's vibe and am looking forward to exploring and embracing all it has to offer. I am good for a chat and (reportedly) an organised and tidy person. I can also keep to myself when necessary - always handy in a share house! I look forward to meeting you :-)
I am a Peruvian Software Engineer working in Fitzroy since 1 year ago. My favorite hobbies are singing in a latin music band called The Amazonics and dancing Salsa or Bachata. I am friendly, tidy and respectful. I don't smoke. I am usually busy, but I am always keen for some drinks, cooking together, an outdoor activity, movie, etc. Looking forward to hearing back from you.
I am an graduate architect, planning to move from Tassie to Melbourne in mid Jan. Originally from Hong Kong, I have been in Australia for 6 years and enjoy mingling with different groups of people. I am easy going, obsessed with design, plants, cooking and anything creative. I currently manage my own share-house.
Hey Flatmates! A little bit about me, I'm Sam, from England, I've been in Australia for about 6 months now, I work in hospitality. So work in a cafe in the day time, and then I work at the a beautiful hotel in the evenings. My down time will consist of a cheeky glass of wine, and rest! As I'm doing a lot of hours at the minute. I love to cook, having worked in hospitality for 8-9 years I love to feed people, and have some great recipes :) I have a very eclectic music taste and rely on my headphones. I'm really looking at moving in asap, I've been in a hostel since I got to Melbourne! I look forward to hearing from any and all future flatmates!
I moved from London to Melbourne a few months ago. I am doing a masters in development studies at the University of Melbourne. I am pretty much easy going, clean, sociable but also know when to keep to myself. I love exploring new places, politics, yoga and looking to do more artsy stuff. I am also learning Spanish and I speak Arabic. I am looking to rent a place for the next 8 months or so.
Hi my name is Fanny and I'm from Sweden. I'm a PhD Student in sociology visiting Monash University to write on my thesis as well as exploring the city of Melbourne. I am a friendly and easy going person that enjoy a lot of different stuff, for example, watching tv-series, reading, dining, walking, going to museums and bars, and so on. I am easy to live with because I clean well, is independent and respect others need for privacy, yet truly enjoy the company of others! I hope to find others to live with who share my both extrovert and introvert personality - well, I think you can be both. Take care and let's talk!
Two Irish doctors moving to Melbourne from Perth at the end of January/beginning of February. Looking for one or two others to find a 3 or 4 bed. Both of us like to be social and have chats over a beer or glass of wine. Spend time keeping active and always up for trying new sports and activities or just chilling around and watching Netflix. Very tidy and respectful of other people's space. Have a good array of appliances to help furnish any empty homes. Ideally looking for someone who doesn't need their own parking space. Able to pay up to $250 each per week not including bills.
I’m in my 30’s working full time. I’m easy going, tidy, considerate and happy to share house cleaning chores with flatmates. Non-smoker. I’ve got a car so prefer somewhere offers a parking space. I work unconventional hours so I am conscious of the noise I make when i come home as not to disturb others.
Hi guys! We’re a really friendly couple that enjoys chatting and socializing on the spare time, but we’re also very committed to our goals. So, we’re looking for a place we could call home, and live our lives with passion. If you have the same goals don’t hesitate contacting us. Cheers!
I just finished uni in Canberra and I'm moving to Melbourne in February to start a job at a law firm in the CBD. Love to travel, been to around 40 countries so far. I love to play sport and try to get to the gym (but to be honest it's more of an ambition than a habit). I'm a good cook but awful at planning meals. I'm also a politics junkie and enjoy some good political satire on abc. I've previously leased an apartment in Canberra, stayed in student accommodation in the UK on uni exchange and made my way through countless hostel dorm rooms. I'm looking for housemates that are keen to hang out and chat/eat/drink but also understand that I sometimes need my own space. Enjoy a good house/family dinner. Location is important but I'd much rather find the right group of people who have similar values to me. If you like binging tv shows, exploring the city, going on walks and bike rides and want someone who is friendly, clean, low maintenance and easy to live with, then I could be your guy. It's a cliche but I'm looking for a home not a house. "It's the vibe" - The Castle
I'm a student at Melbourne Uni studying Masters of Physics, which takes up most of my time. I'm great with housework. My favourite things to do are settle down with a good book, mindlessly scroll the interwebs, and chatting with friends. I enjoy my music and you will hear me singing/playing the violin (but not in the middle of the night). I also speak mostly fluent Mandarin. I will respect your privacy. Best wishes :)
Hi! I'm Matias and Im a chilean graphic designer who loves photography (also coffee!). I like to work out and being outgoing, going for a walk, enjoy the city! Im looking for chill places to live, also chill flatmates with I can have nice moments with, have a talk and share some really good coffee :)
Hi, my name is Daniela, I'm a chilean lawyer, 30 years old and I'm working in hospitality. I'm looking for some private room and private bathroom and flatmates to share. I'm easygoing, respectful and clean. I'm a non smoker, non drinker, dog friendly (I'm sorry, I'm allergic to cats), Griffindor of course, movie geek, tea lover, that enjoys reading, music, sharing a meal and go touring the city. PS: I have another friend that is also looking a private room. She is a student in Melbourne University, so if you have 2 rooms in the same house, so we can live in the same place, I will be great.
