Hi ! I'm moving in Melbourne in July for a year (on an exchange program). I'm from France, I'm 19. Easy to live with, tidy and looking for cool roomates, to sometimes hang out and share a nice place to live. I'm looking for a place either for a semester, or the whole year.
I currently live in Brunswick, my housemate is moving in with her partner so I'm looking at a few options in the area. I'm 27, work full time for Oxfam Australia in the events team, based in Carlton. I have been living in share houses for years so I'm fairly used to them. I'm an open minded, chilled, clean person. I love travelling and have a passion for human rights. I also love food and the odd vino! I'm looking for a clean, calm and friendly home. Ideally filled with natural light, a modern kitchen and friendly housemates 😊

Hello! So we are Kim and Amil from London, UK. We have been together for 6 years and started our adventure together in October '16. We have been in Aus since Nov and Melbourne since Dec. we are both currently employed, I'm a hairdresser and Amil works in hospitality. We are really outgoing, respectful and very clean. We love to cook and watch Netflix, we love a chat and laugh. Our current situation is our lease runs out on the property we are currently at (been here since 1st Feb) and we are undecided on whether we are going to leave Melbourne or not, so we'd like somewhere to stay short term for us to decide this. Please send me a message if you can offer somewhere, I'd love to hear from you!
From Peru, into filmmaking, video editing, sports (futbol, surfing, skateboarding, any sport) play guitar, vegan. I've been sharing places since 2010. Social but likes to keep to myself too. No smoking, 420 friendly.
Hello friends, We are an easy-going chill couple looking for a room in a nice home starting with late June - early July (flexible dates). In our late 20's, we are working/studying in the arts/media industry. We enjoy spending time with our flatmates sharing dinner, chilling in front of Netflix, chatting around a tea or coffee, go out in town when we have time for it, or playing board games at home, as well as respecting the privacy of others and having our time on our own. A bit more about us: I am Alexandra, 28 y-o, doing my second Master degree in Communication Design at Deakin Uni. As a designer, I'm pretty much into all things beautiful (Street Art, graphic design, architecture, photography, people and nature) and I like to keep a clean & pretty house. When I have time, I love painting or having fun photo shoots with friends (so plan ahead some picture time). Bao, my partner since 7 years, is a 29 y-o theatre artist who has toured the world with various shows. He was born in Paris, France, from Vietnamese parents. He is into art, tattoos, sports, craft beer and you'll often see him riding his bike. Two years ago we started to be vego-vegan, but it was never a problem living with omni. We’re multi-cultural, open-minded and responsible people. We pay rent and bills on time and know how to use a vacuum cleaner or a dish washer sponge. You: if you are in your late 20- early 30, with compatible interests, and feel we would be a good fit , just drop us a line and let's get one of those wonderful cuppa and get into details! Peace, love, empathy! Alex & Bao
Hey guys! Engineering student here, studying in England. I'll be moving to Melbourne in July as an exchange student for a semester (until November/December). Looking for a place preferably with other students/young professionals in their 20s, not too far from U of Melbourne. Lots of years of experience of house sharing. I'm very easy-going and clean, enjoy cooking, exercise & sport, music and going out, but also appreciate some peace and quiet (especially when it comes to studying). Looking for others with similar interests, that can balance work and play.
Hello! I've just moved to Melbourne after having spent the last decade split between California, Finland and Germany. I am searching for an affordable, furnished or partially furnished room in a flat or house share.(If need be, I can also furnish a room, don't hesitate to write!). I'm flexible with regard to rental length as well, whether something shorter or longer term. I translate and edit professionally, so I am occasionally around at home to do that, although more often than not I'm out and about working or exploring. I'm increasingly involved in music production and web design as well professionally and for myself. I like to play ice hockey and music (with headphones at home, with amplifiers elsewhere ;)). I'm quite interested in politics, science, tech and the world at large. I am tidy, responsible and quiet. I'm happy to socialise with housemates, and it's nice to catch up for a meal together and to be able to chat. I enjoy cooking and baking a bit. I don't have pets or kids, am consistently employed, and can pay rent/bills/bond on time. I'd prefer to live with people who don't smoke indoors as I don't smoke myself. I am bilingual (German/English) and happy to practise Finnish and French if you're keen. It would be lovely to keep up/brush up on languages :) I am quite flexible with regard to location so long as good public transit connections are nearby, as I do not own a car (although I am after a bike here soon :)) and am fully at the mercy of Melbourne's trains, trams and buses for now ;) Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks!
*Pub Trivia host + Corporate event MC. *A professional VO artist & presenter. *Black belt in karate (12+ yrs) *Biomedical Scientist. *Speaks English, German & basic Spanish. Most people find that I'm kind of like the boy next door that you became good mates with when you were younger, who is almost like family as he will always be up for a chat, a drink or hanging out if you are around but also always has a few projects that he's working on so wouldn't be in your hair & annoying.... Think of..... A Golden Retriever.... but in human form.... (sounds weird until you get to know me haha)
I'm a boy from the coast who's looking for somewhere to stay in the city for the second semester after my uni holidays are up. I study at RMIT, love a night out and having a dance. More than capable of keeping the flat clean if that something that needs to happen. Any photo's of the house and living situation can be sent via message. cheers.
Hey there! My 2 cats and I are looking for a room from start of June. I work 2 jobs in hospitality and always pay rent and bills on time. I'm an easygoing person and a friendly, reliable housemate. Please message or text me if you may have something available. Thanks!
Just returned to Melbourne after travelling overseas! I'm great to live with, clean and responsible, as well as really good at paying all bills in time. I have always got my bond back before. Super friendly and easy to get along with.
Hi, my name is Malisa. I am a 27 year old architect from Perth! I have recently returned to Australia from London and am relocating to Melbourne for a new job in Fitzroy, which starts mid June. I am friendly, tidy and sociable housemate and have lived in share houses for several years so well house trained. I am also ideally looking for a furnished room with a double bed in a friendly share house. I love checking out exhibitions, seeing live music, cooking, trying to grow plants and travelling! I am hoping to find a friendly share house with a nice living space and perhaps even a courtyard or garden, which will be available by mid-June! It would be great to find housemates that like to share a glass of wine or have a house dinner every now and then! Please get in touch if you think I would be great addition to your house or if you are looking and think we might be able to team up! Thanks Malisa
Hey! I'm Chelsea, I'm 22 and I work full-time as a production co-ordinator for a photography studio. I'm looking to share a place with someone in a similar age-bracket and situation (i.e. young professional that is chill and kinda cool - but not too cool, ya feel) I work in Prahran but I'm a northside gal so I'm looking to stay around the northcote/westgarth, fitzroy, collingwood, abbotsford area (inner north). I'd like to share with one or two people. I have enough furniture to start a new place, but I'd be open to moving into a pre-established share-house as long as most of my furniture can come with me! In my spare time, I like to write, drown myself in movies and tv shows and have a few laughs over a g+t like I'm a sixty year old widow. I'm clean, reliable and very organised. what i'm looking for: a bedroom with a nice window a lovely housemate a kitchen with more than 5cm of bench space off-street parking so yeah, basically get in touch if you're looking to make a house a home and would maybe consider teaming up with me to do so. also get in touch if you already have a place you'd like me to check out! - Move: July 2017 - Area: Inner North - Budget: $200w + bills (max each) - Stay: Probably 1 year minimum if all goes smoothly (Not keen on living with a couple)
Hey dudes, I’m looking for a room end of Juney because our lease is up and Moonee Ponds isn’t gentrifying quick enough for my liking. I’m a part time study, part time worker, full time chiller kinda gal. Ideally looking around Fitzroy North, Clifton Hill, Carlton North (or further inner) given everything I do is north & east (study, volunteering, coffee). Really, my only prerequisites for a room is big enough to put my shit in with some lush natural light. Am hoping to find some chillers for housemates that enjoy a boogie just as much as a quiet shiraz. Let me know/tag ya rooms/tag ya friends/idm.

About my future roommate I hope you are a student (undergraduate, postgraduate, phd), female will be better. If you are not a student, I hope we are at the same age. I don't want to live with couples. Thanks Hope we can be best friends and play together at weekend, so I won't feel lonely anymore. About the room Single room Warm (allow me to use heater ) we can share bill Has window
I work in the CBD and am rarely around in the evenings. My long hours lead to very relaxed days off, where I will typically relax, read and clean. I'm always keen for a conversation and a beer while hanging out with my roommates but respect everyone's privacy. I always maintain shared spaces and am punctual with rent and bills.
Hey there! I'm Carmelo, 29/ Italian , working FT in constructions. I'm ideally looking for a room around Hawthorn or Brunswick (these 2 sides of the city) I'm friendly, clean, house_share_trained, easygoing , and looking for same future flatmates. I can make an amazing Carbonara ...and that might be enough to get the place, without considering a funny accent included in the package 😂 Let me know! Thanks guys🤞🏻 Ps: I'd need to find something as soon as possible
Hello my name is Mikaela and I'm 30 years old and have just moved down to from Sydney, for work. I work in marketing and brand management for kitchenware and homewares. I love to cook, watch documentaries, socialize, go on adventures and discover new places. I tend to also hit the gym/yoga a few times a week. I enjoy being able to bond with the people I live with but am also respectful of everyone's space and alone time (as I too need mine!). I consider myself to be very clean and tidy person and I usually look for someone with similar standards. I've flat shared since I was 17, so I come well trained! As I've just moved down from Sydney, I may have a friend sleeping over for the weekend every now and then (not too often but thought I should mention this), but will most likely be out and about if that happens! I also really enjoy to share a meal and a wine/tea with my house mates when possible.

Please feel free to message me if you have anything available As a plan b, if some girl is interested in sharing a room at CBD or surroundings, please let me know. Cheers!
Hello! I am relocating from Perth to Melbourne in August. I am a hard-working, friendly, mature, tidy, respectful housemate that gets along with people of all age groups. I am a creative type that loves to read, watch live music, and kitschy b-grade films. I don't have any pets, but I love animals. My ideal home would be a safe place relatively close to public transport, and I would like to stay for at least six months. I will be in Melbourne mid-June for job hunting, so if there are any early birds that would like to have an interview then, it can certainly be arranged. Looking forward to calling your beautiful city my home, and to meeting you. Thank you!
Originally from Brisbane, I am making the move down to Melbourne for work in mid-late August. Looking to join a house with some fun and relaxed people that can show me the ropes around Melbourne, so definitely hoping for a social house. I work in PR/Media, and live a pretty active and social lifestyle. Happy to expand from the search area listed. Please note that I will be in Europe from late June until the end of July, so might be a bit sloppy with replies in that time.
Hi, I am a Masters of Landscape Architecture student at the University of Melbourne. I am an international student with previous experience living in shared accommodation. I am pretty easy going, conscientious and respectful. I like to keep busy and like exploring new places, but am equally at home catching up with housemates over a beer or two. Being vegetarian transitioning towards vegan, I tend to cook for myself but am always open to finding out what others think about my food. I like keeping my surroundings clean and appreciate clean people. I am also environmentally conscious and would enjoy living with similar humans. I am looking for a room in a house or a flat which I could call home for at least the next 6 months and am looking to move asap.
