Hello folks! We are looking for a place around the Melbourne CBD. We would like to stay on a long term duration, we work full time, so we are out most of the time. Looking for a friendly, social, tidy place and mates around!! Please feel free to leave us a text if you are willing to accommodate us !! Cheers Nakul & Suresh
Looking for a decent place to move into for 6+ months come May. So I can live, study & work when I'm back in Melbourne again. Place needs to already be home to some cool, trustworthy people who got their own thing going on, but are positive and down with reality. I've lots of experience sharing, am privately renting presently, and can get you actual references if need be. Budget = $250 pw max. (inc bills/inner city location or both) Anywhere close by a station or where the city's within walking distance - with secure backyard - is blitz for me & my furbaby Taco. Taco is a house-trained, medium x-breed (Pointer etc), great to live with - friendly and quiet, except if something suss is going down. Me, I'm just an idiosyncratic badass ie I may have been born yesterday, but I stayed up all night - I've plenty going on so I'm busy enough as is - So only message me if you're genuine. I'm clean, easy-going, give respect where I get it & like my people much the same +enjoy my own space. Up for cooking communally every now & then as is well fun, and appreciate people with good vibes; happy-go-lucky aka fun or chill busy people ~ Not people who want to get all up in my business. Love music, art, being active, dancing, misadventures, reading, etc.. also down for at home early morning, or alternately, evening yoga sessions should time be on my side. If this bio sounds good to you & you love animals then I think we got a match so get in touch! No misogynists, bigots, homophobes, racists, liars, thieves or sociopaths - 'Cause I'm not buying what you're selling. I'm cool with everyone else though! ^_^ Luna♡☆
Hello everyone! We are Álvaro and Alexandra, and we are a mid-twenties couple who've recently moved to Melbourne! We arrived a few days ago from Barcelona (Spain), our natal city. We’ve come to Australia as students to do an intensive English course and obtain the Cambridge English Advance. Alvaro is a nautical engineer and I’m a technical architect and artist, specialized in design and photography. For both, sport has an important place in our lives. Alvaro has been a professional waterpolo player since he was 8 years old and I was athlete during a lot of years in my live. But in general we like all kind of sports. We live together in Barcelona, and we like keeping the house clean and having good relationships with our flatmates. During free time we like going out with our friends and we really enjoy listening to music at home, festivals or wherever! As students we can work part-time, and although we have saved money to come to Australia, we want to find a job in the next days. We are a very active people and we want to know what it’s like to work in Australia! We need to find a place to live as soon as possible. For now, we will stay in Melbourne during 4 months, but our idea is to stay here at least 1 year. If you think that we can fit with you, let us know! Hoping to see you soon! Álvaro & Alexandra
I'm 29 years old, from Brazil (São Paulo). I've just arrived in Melbourne enrolled in a VET course of Project Management. I am very tidy and clean, well organized, easygoing and friendly. Love watching series and TV shows, going out for a walk, cultural events, travel and nature.
Hi I’m Ollie. I’m a hard working health practitioner by day and I’m a dressmaker and seamstress by night. I’ve also been learning pottery for the last 4 years. My "unique and interesting” handmade bowls and cups will be my contribution to the kitchen. ;) I’ve lived in share housing before. I am happy to cook and chat after a long day, or relax in front of the tv with a nice warm cup of tea or coffee and some snacks. At the same time, I’m also respectful of personal space. I like to keep the common area clean and spacious, and prefer to clean up after myself after cooking. A few facts about me: I love succulents. I think they're so pretty and resilient. I prefer sunny warm days over cold rainy days. I like the pitter patter of rain if I’m inside with a cup of tea. I'm slightly addicted to coffee and chai lattes. I’m not quite on the beetroot latte train wagon yet. I love cats and dogs. I don’t have a pet but if you have one, I would be happy to help look after them. Send me a message if you think we'll get along well.
Hey, I am a 23 year old stakeholder engagement consultant. I enjoy being active, travelling and hanging out with mates. I am looking for a clean house with great housemates who are happy to have a chat and beer but also respect each others space. I also need a place with a garage space for my car. Please reach out if you think I'd be a good fit at your place. I am looking with a mate of mine so it'd be great to find a place with two rooms!

Returning to Melbourne after 8 months of traveling through Europe, Africa & the Caribbean, I am looking for a new home preferably in the cosy northern suburbs. I am 26 years old, currently working predominantly in a customer service orientated role & occasionally bartending on weekends. I am a tidy person at home, respectful of shared spaces and mindful of others in a shared household. That being said I enjoy the company of others, having friends over, tending to the garden, art, books, love cooking, sharing meals where possible, social drinking and all kinds of tasteful music.
From Japan and USA, we are a great couple to live with. Very clean and tidy. No smoking, and light drinking. Mainly go to bars to hangout, not much for house parties. Enjoy cooking and always clean up after, mark food in the fridge, and enjoy any type of movies. We love to play board and card games accompanied by some wine ;) Mostly working but easy to hangout with in the off time.
Hi there, My name is Darja (Estonian, 26 y.o.) and my boyfriend's name is Alex (French, 25 y.o.). Little about us: We're both kind, honest, simple and open people with good common sense (common sense is not that common ;)). We respect others and our privacy and like to keep our living clean and tidy. Both of us are working full time and we'll be staying in Melbourne until the end of June. Alex has been studying marine biology and is into climbing and skiing and I have studied tourism management and I am into pilates and cognitive science. We both like to work out, travel and eat good cheese.

I’m from Thailand. I was a System Engineer for 5 years’ experience. I’m going to MEL for study IELTS/EAP to prepare for master in the next coming year. I study IELTS/EAP in the morning and do part-time job in the evening till late night. I'd say that I'm always not at home. I consider my self easy going. Very clean and tidy, also down-to-earth. Openminded to learn international cultures and languages. We can be co-traveller, unless you want me to :) My hobby is taking photograph, you will get some pretty shot from me in return. I’m a sport lover. Love yoga and tennis ,even for outdoor activity. Can definitely catch up for a conversation during dinner or sometime on my day off. I like trying good food, good coffee and grab couple glasses of wine at bar. I'm definitely not a party girl. I don't like hang over and club party. I'd love to join but not often.
Hi! I'm a French 23yo student from Paris, open-minded, clean and easy-going. I'm coming to Melbourne for a job (with a working-holiday visa) as research assistant at the University of Melbourne. I grew as a cross-cultural kid (British-French) so I speak both languages fluently, I love to travel and recent places I've lived in are Montreal, Paris and Grenoble. I have been sharing flats over the past five years with different people from different backgrounds, and all of them went really well and so I am experienced in the art of sharing a home. I'm eco-friendly, I dance and play music, enjoy hiking, running and outdoorsy stuff, relaxing & tea or going out for beers on the evenings or weekends!
I am an easygoing and tidy girl. I am going to Melbourne University to study Master of Accounting and Finance this July. So I am looking for a place which is convenient for commuting to Parkville campus. Firstly, I like to meet people and I will not invade your personal life or space without your permission. Also I can cook Chinese food, if you like, we can share them together sometime. Lastly, I hope we can be friends after we live together if you like.
I have just moved to Melbourne and I am looking for a place to live. I am a 22 years old french guy from the Loire Valley. I am a friendly, respectful and clean person. Outgoing, I'm always up for a bit of fun. I like chilling out, reading and sharing a glass of wine around a movie. I enjoy spending my days off meeting new people and exploring the area. Quiet and easy-going, I'm looking for a place that is clean, comfortable and full of life.
Hi! My name's Brooke, and I'm a 20 year old library technician from south-east Melbourne. I'm studying to become a librarian while working in a library Monday-Friday. Currently I am living in the rural south east, and I am wanting to move closer to both work and to Melbourne's nightlife. I am looking for a private room in either the inner southern/eastern/northern Melbourne suburbs, particularly St Kilda, or on the Pakenham train line. Great public transport links are essential. I am in no hurry to move, so the move in date is flexible. I am not looking for anything fancy, just somewhere clean and affordable to call home. If the house and flat mates were a good fit I'd be open to renting long term. A social house would be great so I can make some new friends around my new home, and I'd like to get to know the people I am living with. I don't want to live in a party house, but I'd love to live in the sort of house where we can hang out together over a pint. Ideally I'd be living with other people in their twenties, but I'm not an age snob. I have lived in a share house previously, so I appreciate the importance of communication and respect in making sure we all enjoy living together. I also like to think I'm a friendly, respectful, clean and easy going person. And most importantly... I love cleaning rosters!! I've always been punctual and reliable with rent and bills. More than happy to provide proof of income and financial position to assure you I am able to pay consistently. Monday-Friday are spent working and studying, so I'd be pretty quiet during the week. By the weekend I am your typical 20 year old; I love heading out to the pub or to a gig with friends. That being said, I respect if my potential flat mates want a quiet home and I don't bring the party home with me. I love music and I can be found listening to Oasis literally most of the time. Quite shy at first, but I am outgoing once I've gotten to know people. Please send me a message if you think I'd be a good fit in your house! Cheers!
Hey everybody! My name is Ben, I’m a 29 yo guy from Germany and I’m looking for a double room for me and my girlfriend (25yo brazilian) in Melbourne as soon as possible and we are free to move in anytime. I’m working as a bartender in the CBD, and my girlfriend is studying and working, so the rent and bond is no problem and will be punctual every time! We wanna stay for at least 6 months (probably longer) in this beautiful city and hope we’ll find a good place with awesome mate(s). Would like to live in a social shared house/flat where you hang out together and build some new friendships. About us: - easy going, funny, respectfully, clean, honest - never to late with the rent (fact!) - pretty addicted to Netflix 😅 - would never dare to refuse a MarioKart battle! 🤓 - friendly flat mates who loves to socialise but also need his own space from time to time - LGBT friendly - pet friendly If that sounds okay for you, just shoot me a message. We looking forward to hear something from you! See ya! Cheers Ben and Thais
I'm easy-going, respectful, works full-time, I clean up after myself, and, most importantly, can reach things in tall spaces - which should be a really important thing to factor in when searching for a housemate! I'm a lover of all things acting, so that means I'll happily watch Netflix or check out a movie at the cinemas with you. Coffee is pretty neat as well! I'm from a large family so sharing is caring; I'm happy to share a meal or beer or two! I do enjoy the quality banter but don't mind discussing the woes of today's society every now and then.
