We are Anabelle and Cameron - a professional couple excited to settle in the Northern Beaches after living and working abroad.
Anabelle Kemplen (30) runs a communications business servicing clients across the Australian and international music, hospitality, and travel industries. Her work includes ongoing partnerships with respected organisations such as Merivale and Sounds Australia, the country’s music export office. Originally from Sydney, Anabelle has strong family ties on the Northern Beaches and is looking forward to being close to home again.
Cameron Durning (35) owns a marketing business operating in the tech and recruitment sectors. Originally from London, Cameron is relocating to Australia with Anabelle. He’s passionate about health, fitness, and an active lifestyle - often found running, swimming, or enjoying the outdoors.
Anabelle can provide a reference from her four-year rental agreement in Amsterdam, as well as from her following tenancy in Spain, where she and Cameron met before moving in together a year ago. Both of us have a strong record of maintaining homes with care and respect, and pride ourselves on being reliable, responsible tenants.
Last summer, we spent time in Sydney and looked after several homes through trusted house- and pet-sitting arrangements. We received glowing reviews for the care, cleanliness, and attention we gave to each property. While we enjoyed that experience, we’re now looking for a more permanent, long-term base to settle into and call our own.
We both work full-time and primarily from home, occasionally hot-desking or travelling for meetings and projects, both locally and internationally. We maintain a calm, organised household and value a clean, comfortable living environment - the kind of place we can truly look after and call home.
After spending time overseas, we’re genuinely excited to be back in Sydney and particularly drawn to the relaxed coastal lifestyle, community feel, and proximity to family. We love that the Northern Beaches offer the perfect balance between being close to nature and connected to the city, with great local cafés, ocean walks, and a sense of community that really suits our lifestyle.
