I am a 33 year old from the UK (from a tiny town called Norwich). I've been traveling around Australia since last November. During that time I worked in Melbourne for 6 months before heading to New Zealand, Thailand and China. I've now come back to continue working at the same company on my 2nd year working holiday. I'm already in Melbourne. I work as a Metrologist in Port Melbourne.
I work usual hours that are roughly 9:30am-5:30pm or 10am-6pm (my work is fairly flexible). I don’t have a car so I don’t need anywhere to park.
I'm a pretty quiet guy but when I get to know people I become a lot more talkative. I don't have any furniture, I don't have kids and I don't smoke. I've spent a lot of weekends just checking out various places around Melbourne and seeing things I can't see in the UK. I love to attend gigs and music festivals, play video games, watch movies and play drums (don't worry - my drum kits are on the other side of the planet and I won't be doing that here).
I'm looking to find somewhere to stay as I've lived in hostels for over a year (I've counted it and it's been over 45 hostels so far). It would be nice to not move around as much and have some more space. Also, all of the hostels are all doing dynamic pricing so they are getting super expensive around this time of year.
