Hi, I am 31 and work full time as a Project Manager. I am relocating from Sydney to Melbourne for work. I am easy-going and enjoy fitness, travel and socialising with friends. Being new to Melbourne, I am looking for a social house that feels like a 'home' but also somewhere that appreciates their own space sometimes. I am open to somewhere short-term or long-term. Short-term to find the perfect place or long-term if I find something suitable.
Hey! What I do: I work 3-5 days a week across two GP practices in the west, study one day a week in the city, spend time with my dog, have a couple relaxed drinks with mates in the east side, and escape the city whenever I find a spare day. As a housemate: I keep things pretty low key during the week, I cook, clean up after myself and am a bit of a homebody. I'd love to move in with my dog, who's a rescue kelpie cross. We go for 1-2 walks a day, loves her frisbee and ball, friendly, house trained and is a sucker for a cuddle. When I'm at work she stays with family who live in the Port Phillip area.
Hi, I'm Justin, 32. I moved from Sydney to Melly last year for work/study. I'm a former editor turned lawyer. Neat and personable, handsomely modest, spend much of my free time exploring and eating (esp spicy), reading and artsing (esp the classics) and always welcome a spot of Scrabble, yogging and swimming (would like to get back into squash and tennis), and asking the tricky questions about life and the curiosities of humans. I've been in Richmond for the last year and a half, and ideally looking for somewhere central/closer to uni (Parkville).
We have just moved to Melbourne from the UK and Canada and are looking for a place to call home for the next 6+ months while we work. Dan is a graduate engineer and Gabbi is a yoga instructor. We are social and love to cook. We also enjoy being active and outdoors- running, acroyoga, climbing and camping. We'd love to hear from someone we can be friends with. Cheers!
I will be relocating to Melbourne with my job on October of this year for 12 month. I currently live in Brisbane. I am financially secure and am looking for somewhere to live for 12 months. I am clean and respectful to any situation. Would prefer my own bathroom.
Hey We are a clean, active, easy going couple looking for a room in flat where people enjoy interacting. We are always up for some banter, sharing food or the odd drink. Just moved to Melbourne from NZ, so pretty open to where about but love the water and a relaxed lifestyle (a private bathroom would be preferred but not essential) Locations currently looking at (Elwood, St kilda, port Melbourne, Albert park, south yarra, Prahran, Windsor) James is a builder and I am an analyst, so will both work full time
Hello future housemate! I’m Cat and I am from the UK, my boyfriend Nico is from Spain. We have been travelling around Asia and are now in Australia on a working holiday visa and looking to find somewhere to settle during our time here. We are a friendly and considerate couple who enjoy socialising but also respect the privacy of others. Currently have 9-5 jobs, I enjoy cooking/baking, but also exercising to compensate! Our budget between us is about $300 per week, but we are flexible.
Currently studying a bachelor of biomedical science and working part time at Novotel in the city. Very friendly and can adapt to any house environment
Hello everyone! I have just moved to Melbourne from Atlanta, Georgia in the US. I will be living here for a year. I’m looking someone with a room available to rent or someone (or multiple people) who would want to team up to find a place of our place of our own. I’m looking for a place with a rent under $250 a week. I would prefer to live in or around Carlton, Fitzroy, Collingwood, or Northcote, but it does not have to be one of these areas. However I do need easy access to public transportation and the city. I am 21 years old, gay, and I want to pursue a career in a creative/artistic field. I have many interests. Some of them are art, music, fashion, hiking, spending time outdoors, and sometimes just chilling out and watching Netflix. I am new to the city and would love to spend some time exploring the area. I would really like to have roommates who like to socialize and hang out. I would like my roommates and I to be friends. Please message me if you are interested or have any questions! Thank you, Mason
Hi, I'm going to be in Australia by October 1st. I've just landed a new job in Port Melbourne, as an infrastructure engineer. I'm going to let my own apartment here in London, out to my friends. I'm very tidy, love food, music and shows, want more skateboarding and am getting super excited about moving. Thanks Bo Marcus Win
Easy to live, polite and always with the smile! I am a young french professionnal worker and I will work in Melbourne during (at least) 1 year and a half from the first of November. I search a home and not just a place to sleep, I like meet new people, go out and have a glass of wine from time to time but I'm not a crazy party girl : I am determined to success in my job! I like also travelling, hiking, doing sport (swimming, horse ridding...) and discovered the world around me. If you search someone who is easy to live, sociable and love spend time with others don't hesitate!
