Howdy! We are a couple moving from Adelaide for work/study on the 19th. Jared, 26, will be working full-time in his dream forensics job, as well as writing up his PhD thesis. James, 30, will be studying social work at RMIT. This should give you a clear idea of our values. We're looking for a place not exceeding $250/wk ea. If furnished or $200/wk ea. if unfurnished (for centrally located sharehouses). Preferably sharing with other students or conscientious professionals. We are not strangers to share houses and know the gig. James has a docile, lovable, fluffy cat. I'm not a catman but I've made an exception for Chloe. Our hobbies include: board games (have a good collection), hiking, gym, and beach. I suppose two of these aren't really Melbourne things so we look forward to seeing what the city instead offers. We'll be browsing other ads here and getting in touch with people, but if you think you've got something suitable and wanna meet up to show the room and see if we're a match just hit me up. We'll be free all next week and the week after for hunting! Cheers!

Hey! I'm currently living in Adelaide but wanting to be in Melbourne at the start of December. I'm a very laid back, bubbly, social person who gets along with basically anyone! I'm always up for a chat and some wines but also love a good Netflix binge! I have a few friends in Melbourne and some family but not too many so id love to move into a place that I can meet some people and form some for friendships :) Im a youth worker and will likely to be working some crazy shifts ( in Adelaide I do 50+ hour weeks and 24 hour long shifts ) - so im probably not going to be home to often!
We are two best friends who are quiet and keep to ourselves but also like to socialise. We like to keep a clean and tidy house without being ridiculously meticulous. We’re both studying - Grace a Masters and me (Margaret) my second Bachelors degree. We are both LGBTQ+ and are happy to live with a couple! We come with a cat each so able to happily live with cats is a must. Most importantly, we are both musicians so housemates would need to be okay with us practising our instruments regularly. Looking to move sometime in January!
Im mandy from india here as a student my hobbies are travelling, making new friends, going out on weekends im really kind and always keep a smile on my face funny too ✌🏼😊 Love for animals specially 🐶🐈
Hi there, In late December I'll be moving to Melbourne to work in the arts precinct on St Kilda Road. Will be moving from Canberra and looking for a place for the next 6-8 months. I'll be working in fundraising and events so expect I'll be quite busy Monday-Friday. In my free time I am social but definitely enjoy my down time. Hobbies include going to the gym, shopping, cooking and becoming emotionally invested in the Bachelor/Bachelorette. I am clean, considerate and responsible. Would love to move into an established share house, preferably with females around my age. I'll be selling my car soon, so being close to public transport is essential. Please get in touch if you think your place will suit :)
I am easy going. I love good food, wine and coffee. I am pretty active love outdoor and go to gym every day. Happy to catch up here and there but in general I am busy with working part time, running my own business and going to school so I won't be around a lot. Also I am not a party person :)
We’re a easy outgoing couple from Sweden We are both relaxed, tidy, are not to dependent on one and other and have experience sharing flats before. We love to socialize and like to be able to sit down and have a chat or going out for the occasional drink ! We are both looking for jobs and want to stay in Melbourne for around 6 months. Feel free to ask any questions! Cheers Jeffrey and Maria !
About me: Professional female (pictured on left) residing in Port Melbourne. Currently living solo for the last 2.5yrs, however keen on entertaining a change of scenery re: sharing & relocating! Prior to living solo, successfully shared for 6yrs with 2 others. In terms of my routine I am social and enjoy going out some weekends, however also enjoy my own company. Weekends consist of downtime, gym and I’m keen on the occasional wine bar, dinners out, exhibitions, gigs etc. In search of a home that can be my little sanctuary, that I love to keep clean but still relaxed and homely! I love to have a laugh and also retreat when it's been a busy day/week. I am respectful of boundaries, value having a genuine connection while sharing the same space and feel it's equally important to maintain our own lives/routine and need for privacy too. :) Looking for: Great sense of humor, clean, respectful, mature, integrity, kind & warm! Happy to socialise together but equally enjoys their independence and very reliable when it comes to shared commitments & agreements. Food sharing and furniture: Happily arrange my own food! Idealistically, would like to furnish my own bedroom and if required - I too have a household of furnishings if needed. Subsequently, if not needed...will happily sell! :)
I’m from Brazil and I’m 39. I came to Melbourne to study and work. First I’m improving my english and them I’m going a post graduate. I am easy going, clean and focused on my studies.

Hi There, We are a couple (James & Shenayde) from New Zealand who have been living in Melbourne for about 5 and a half years now. We have been living down in Geelong for the past 6 months as Shenayde was involved in an accident and had to attend the rehabilitation centre down there to learn how to walk & run all over again. We are moving back up to Melbourne in February (very early notice I know, but early bird catch the worm - and all that jazz). A little bit about us: James - 29 year old IT Tech who works for a Software and Website company in Spotswood (near Yarraville). I am an above knee amputee, but this does not hold be back, just means I fall over a couple more times than your average bloke after a few too many drinks. In New Zealand most of my friends call me Peg Leg or Peg, so no embarrassment on that front. Enjoy a good laugh and cooking up a feast. Shenayde - 26 year old awesome lass. Shy at first, but loves a good yarn after a couple of wines. Molly - A sassy 2 year+ old kitty. Please note we are both outside smokers and are not big drinkers but do enjoy a few wines on the weekend or after a hard day at work. As I say, we are not looking to move until February but would like to put the feelers out there now for any other interested people/couples looking for a place, or may already have one secured.
I have excellent references for flat-sharing in London and Australia from flatmates and landlords who became friends. I am a professional, tidy, travel a lot, easy going and respect privacy. Looking for an unfurnished double room and private bathroom.
I am easy going, friendly quiet, mature semi retired teacher. I am fit, healthy and make responsible food and lifestyle choices. I enjoy cooking delicious healthy meals and keep fit by walking and swimming.
Hi there, My name is Tom. I work in the CBD and in the AFL industry. I have lived in Melbourne for almost 4 years now. I wouldn't say I am OCD but I am pretty neat and clean. I do not spend much time at home on weekends due to work but when I am normally to watch a movie or have a drink. If you are lucky I can get tickets to games. If you would like to know more, feel free to contact me :)
Hey guys 🙂 My names Cindy and I’m currently on the hunt for a new place to call my home. If you have a room for rent I would love to get in touch as I’m looking to move in ASAP! Please see details about myself and what I’m looking for below. What I’m looking for: A private room that is preferably unfurnished in a share house with like minded people (not fussed about age or gender). As I work and study on swanston street, easy access to the city would be greatly prioritised. I am looking for somewhere long term (12 months, possibly longer) that costs $250 or less per week inclusive of bills. Particular areas of interest for me are north/west, south Melbourne, Brunswick, St Kilda, docklands and surrounding areas. I also have two tiny small itty bitty baby puppies back in brisbane that I’m looking to bring down ASAP, so if your property allows pets then this is something that I will too prioritise, but it’s not a strict requirement, I’ll take what I can get 🙂 Bonus points if the room/property has: - Bicycle parking - A balcony/outdoor smoking area - Possibility for pets allowed - Fun peeps About me: I am a happy, go-lucky gal who has just turned 23. I am of Latin American descent and have recently moved from Brisbane, so if you like food and are interested in my culture then I’m sure we could get along. I study Design (majoring in Graphic Design) at Unimelb so I am a creative bug and would love to spend time with you working on arty and crafty projects if that’s your thing 🙂. My course can be quite intense so during semester I retreat to my room a lot.. but I love being sociable when I have the time and energy. I work for EB games in the city which slams me with shifts during uni holidays. If your household has any gamers, I’m all about that co-op play and LAN parties! I have a PS4 and a Nintendo switch so there will be many multiplayer games for us to choose from 🙂 if you’re into board games, I also have a large collection for us to have fun with. In my spare time I love play my guitar and ukulele (love a good jam if you play any instruments). I also enjoy a cheeky bevy and a smoke here and there. Anyone up for cheese and wine? Or beers and pizza if that’s more you’re scene. I love to cook, read, go to the gym, cycle (or anything outdoor related) and above all I sleep a lot. I’m really an easygoing person who isn’t fussed about much in life so if you think we might get along, holla at yo girl! Looking forward to meeting my new household family and friends!
