i’m reaching out in hopes of finding my new home in the illawarra from jan/feb 2026 onwards. i’m turning 18 next week, and i’m ready (and really needing) to step into a space that feels safe, calm and stable after a pretty tricky couple of years living at home. i’m hoping to find somewhere i can actually settle, feel grounded, and start building some independence; somewhere that feels like home, not just a place to sleep.
ideally i’m looking around wollongong cbd, balgownie, fairy meadow, towradgi or surrounding suburbs, but i'll be taking a gap year (working almost every day - not needing to get to uni), and so i am open to nearby areas for the right people and vibe.
a bit about me!
i’m a very creative gal and spend a lot of my time dancing, teaching dance, singing, getting involved with theatre, baking, at the beach/in the sun, and learning new hobbies (i looove learning new things and would love to share with new friends!).
i also really enjoy slower, mindful activities that help me channel my energy into something calm and/or creative like reformer pilates, yoga, rhinestone art, colouring in, and even cleaning, tidying, organising, and decorating spaces, especially mine. i definitely have a knack for making spaces feel cosy and welcoming.
i’ve just graduated year 12 as school captain, which taught me a lot about responsibility, empathy, and communication. i currently work multiple jobs; i teach dance classes, babysit for several families, and i’ve recently been promoted to a supervisor position at my third job. i am happy to share details about my previous experience and references/referees as well.
i’m organised, reliable, and take pride in my strong work ethic, and being respectful, honest, and thoughtful. i try to bring kindness, encouragement, and positive energy wherever i go, and i really value loyalty, fairness, and making people feel supported always.
personality-wise, i’m warm, bubbly, friendly, and easy to get along with. i love a good chat, a kitchen laugh, or a night in binge watching friends (or any other classic 2000s movie or show - or musical!!! or anything else someone is excited to share their love for with me). buttttt i do also really value quiet time, balance, and personal space. although i absolutely thrive in social environments when that's an option, i am ultimately looking for a home that feels calm, happy, and comfortable.
i’m clean, considerate, and big on open communication, kindness, and respecting others’ space and feelings. i like to think i bring a little energy, optimism, and fun wherever i am, but i can also just hang out quietly, read, craft, or make a banger spotify playlist for any and all kinds of vibes.
i’d be very open to moving into an established female household, or teaming up with other girls who are also searching so we can find a home together - either way, females only please!
i can bring all my own furniture, and my budget is up to $230 per week (preferably a little less as i’m still young and managing other costs).
